Having never cared for my elderly mother I was thrust into the responsibility of trying to sort out what would be an appropriate location for her when my brother passed away suddenly from a heart attack. First we started at a nursing home and were told after a few months she could handle being in Assisted Living. I had visited Grand Villa during my research period and really liked it, so contacted them again. The staff, especially [name removed], welcomed me, gave me a tour and patiently explained life at Grand Villa and answered all my questions. Once mom was approved by the RN, the Sales Assistant, [name removed], guided me through all the required paperwork. She helpfully reminded me of missing forms and where to pull up information. When I signed the paperwork in person, [name removed] the Director was fun to speak with and patiently explained each form. Since moving in, the front desk clerks has been so informative, the medical staff so good to reminding mom about the importance of taking her meds.

Tuscan Gardens is absolutely beautiful especially with our new flooring. It looks like a resort when you first walk in. The halls are spacious and they have a beautifully decorated massage spa and hair salon that we can use at our convenience. When my family comes into town they have the option of staying with me or they have a hampton inn across the street with a nice seafood restaurant called pinchers. Also, located in the same vicinity is Patriots Park. They have a nice pond that you can feed the ducks. Location is perfect because it is right near downtown venice and the beaches too.

We stay very active here. The activities are very fun and fulfilling. When we are not having wine and horderves for happy hour we are cruising around town going shopping. Very fun place to live if you like to socialize and stay active.

Coming to Tuscan Gardens After being married for more than 60 years, I did not expect much to change. I remember so well when the doctor diagnosed [name removed] with Alzheimer’s. After a lot of prayers and family meetings, we decided the safest place for [name removed] was someplace other than home. My son, [name removed] , was given the task of finding a suitable place for his dad. He came to me with comments of Places he had checked out. You wouldn’t be happy here Mom it’s dirty, it’s old it smells bad. Then one day he came home after a meeting with [name removed] at Tuscan Gardens. He was all smiles and said this is a place I think dad would be happy at I was having health issues kidney stones, psoriasis. different forms of arthritis. so the decision was made for us as a family to go check out Tuscan Gardens. The family as a whole decided we had found a place we could call home. My mother moved in over a month ago. She’s loving it. Many activities. The food is great. People & staff are wonderful My apt is beautiful. Love walking the grounds. It’s beautiful out back. Lovely trees.

My wife developed dementia and became a flight risk, necessitating our moving her to an Assisted Living Facility(ALF)/ Memory Care Unit(MCU). My daughter, her husband and I researched and visited most of the ALF/MCUs on the “A place for Mom” recommended list of facilities in our area along with a few others. Grand Villa of Clearwater was clearly the best of the lot. The people were friendly, the private room was spacious and clean, the facility itself was clean and inviting and the staff were competent and professional. My wife has been there for almost 3 months and she has been well cared for.

Food here is very good, excellent. Chef is very nice, very polite. Care staff are very helpful, they go above and beyond. I am happy to be at the Grand Villa.

Food is good, in fact it is darn good. I enjoy going to bingo and art class. I am am IL resident, I don't need much. But I would recommend this community.

I was so worried about placing my mom into a care facility, but Grandvilla of Ormond truly put all my nerves at ease. She is having a great time doing all of the activities, and has made so many friends. Super clean and friendly place to be.

Everyone here is pleasant and sociable. Very clean and the food is good.

The staff have been exceptional in helping my mother acclimate to her new home. A loving and caring community that truly goes out of their way to be sure you and your family member are comfortable and 110% satisfied with your family members new home. The facility is very clean and smells good, the food and dining room are fabulous and the variety of activities keeps my mother active and involved on a daily basis. There truly is something for everyone. The management staff is always available to answer your questions and take care of any concerns you may have. Once you visit Grand Villa of Clearwater your search is over and there is no need to visit anywhere else.

I would rate them a 5. They did an amazing job for me and my Mom. I was there everyday however they would still text me to let me know what was going on. Sadly my Mom passed on [date removed] They were fantastic during her last days.

I came to this community only often at first, just to help my longtime friend accommodate and she has enjoyed being here so much that now I too come here very often. I love helping around with activities and gardening. The staff and residents are so sweet and funny, I love being here!

Staff here are very intelligent and accommodating to resident ways. Residents look very well put together and appear always in good and happy spirits when I am here. I would definitely put my parents here.

Staff is great! Very welcoming and helpful for any need. My brother and I are really thankful for all the Grand Villa of Palm Bay staff on helping us relocate our mother and making her feel comfortable.

all 5s - I am very happy to have chosen Grand Villa as my home . They truly are like family to us all here. we have monthly meetings that we talk about how to improve things here. We all share and work together.

I toured the community recently, looking at options for a neighbor. Although this is not the right level of care for her, the community presented beautifully. I was able to meet with [name removed], the leasing person and she was very knowledgeable and kind, she was able to direct me where I needed to go. While touring, I was met by the director [name removed], he helped me understand what Grand Villa is all about and I left feeling empowered to find the right place for my friend. Highly recommend if you need this level of care.

I have an acquaintance at this community, I was visiting recently and I had to leave a comment. The community was very clean and well maintained but above all else, the staff of the community were so engaged with the residents and seem to know them well, what I observed was exactly what should be happening across every senior living community. Truly amazed in how these residents are treated as family to the staff.
