Lovely experience -definitely worth a visit if looking for a place for your loved one. Good location close to shopping center.

At Grand Villa of Port Charlotte I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who offered me water. I met with a manager who seemed experienced and knowledgeable about this residential facility. He walked me through parts of the facility and explained operations as we walked. We also sat and discussed various aspects of care available for residents needing assistance. Many of the questions that I came with were answered before I had to ask. I left favorably impressed with the Grand Villa and I believe my friend (for whom I am looking at various facilities)would fit in well here.

My father in law transitioned to memory care about a month ago. Grand Villa staff literally rolled out a red carpet for him when he arrived, with all staff clapping and welcoming him. I had tears in my eyes. Staff are so attentive and helpful - they know the residents and every interaction I've seen demonstrates compassion. The apt size is very generous with ample storage. I had a few questions at move in and they were quickly answered. The dining room has lots of natural light and my father in law goes to each meal which he didn't at his last residence, so the food must be good. The intake and care has been highly organized, which is so comforting. I feel comfortable that this transition was the right decision. Regarding activities - they have activities through teach day to keep residents engaged. The activity coordinator is very warm and enthusiastic and takes care to ensure all residents are welcomed and participate. Excellent environment and offerings for stimulation.

The Grand Villa of Delray is such an amazing facility. We recently placed a dear friend into the facility and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. The workers are timely and so friendly. They helped us through a very hard time for the family. [Name Removed] was the saving grace. She helped us from early in the morning to late at night, and always with a smile! I’m so thankful for everyone who has been involved in this transition and for being such a welcoming and loving community!

I live at the Pineapple House and i have nothing but good things to say. Everyone is kind, helpful, and very patient. I am so happy to call this place home! I’ve recommended it to all my friends and family.

I am a resident at Grand Villa for the past two years. My experience here has been and still is wonderful. Am not one to get out and do a lot but the activities here are great. The staff is wonderful and very caring. [name removed] the Executive Director and her management team are great! Keep up the good work Grand Villa Delray East.

What we like the most about the community is the size of the facility is smaller than most assisted living facilities. The smaller size leads more personnel attention to residents. All the staff that I have interacted with (front check in, dining room, nurses, doctors, CNA, house keeping) have been friendly and professional. The new monthly events have been better since the switch from Brentwood to Grand Villa of Ocala

I’ve lived here for 4.5 years. It’s very well maintained, many activities available for us residents, and the staff is lovely. There are also a lot of opportunities to make friends when you move in, as they have a resident ambassador program. It feels like family!

I recently toured this facility, and the memory care residence were between activities, however, they were happy and engaged, watching a TV show with children in it. The other facilities I have toured in between activities. The majority of people were asleep in their chairs, which was very discouraging to me. When you walked into the lobby they had nice music playing instead of the news blasting on the TV so far this is my number one choice for my mother.

I have been in touch with the staff by phone regarding the care of my Mom who was recently hospitalized for Bronchitis. They were fast to assess her, take her to the hospital, and bring her back. They also spoke to me after she arrived safely back to the facility. Her PA doctor called me while my Mom was in her apartment and told me about his visit with her and how the facility was going to care for her. [Name Removed], the assistant wellness director, has also been beyond fabulous in her communication with me in helping my Mom get better. My Mom continues to recover and doing better. I also will be visiting soon and[Name Removed] contacted me in a timely manner and answered all my questions and answered all of my questions as well with a professional and kind email. Thank you East Grand Villa in Delray Beach for taking care of my Mom-our family thanks you as well!!

The community is very clean and the staff keep us updated on everything. We like the memory care part of the community and we would recommend The Pineapple House to others based on our experience.

The staff seemed to be very caring with the residents and were able to greet them by name, showing a level of care not seen in many places. The facilities were clean, with a welcoming feeling. The list of activities was impressive. There was a group leaving for lunch at a local restaurant when I arrived. The facilities have much to recommend them.

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. There's always something going on with the activities and the monthly calendar is full.

We just moved mom in, with the help of [Name Removed] and the wonderful staff. She made the transition go smoothly and was right there for anything that we needed. The staff are so friendly and helpful. My mother is so happy to becoming part of the Grand Villa Family. I can't thank everyone enough for all that they did to help mom through this not so easy transition.

My father enjoys the meals, the food is always good. The staff are nice, and there are a lot of activity options. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families!

I live in the Grandvilla in Clearwater on Drew St., Florida. I have been here almost 2 years and I checked a few places before I settled here. I have found the place that I have chosen a great location lots of activities and the staff is fantastic. We have the front office staff, which listens to anything that you might have to tell them and they will work with you. We have to maintenance which are amazing anytime that you need them. You will get someone that knows exactly what's going on and what needs to be done to correct the situation we have the cleaning crew which is fantastic. No problem there then we have the dining room servers and cooks And I love the servers and they try to meet every person's needs. It's been shorthanded at times, but they work hard. The food is good sometimes something that is not what you like but they have additional things that you can order even if it's breakfast and for dinner so you're always something to work around with to satisfy your needs. We have a lot of activities but entertainment and that is so fantastic especially when you see the older people From memory care, facilities, or the older people that are forgetful but when you play them, the music of fact then which is what we normally have the sunshine that comes into their eyes and the smiles and movements just makes you know that you're doing something right We also have many outings that are bus take us to and we get to do things outside as the museum's. This shows go to the park. They think of things for all of us to be able to do. I really do not have any complaints and if I did, it's something minor that I cannot even remember right now what they were things are taking care of immediately here I rate this place a 5+ in my eyes and seeing all that is offered here I am in independent living. I have a small room but is accessible to the activity room and I have a small balcony that I enjoy looking out, especially when the weather is beautiful.
