In my opinion, the facility is understaffed after 5pm. To improve on the food, they could have some food straight off of the BBQ grill once in a while. The grounds are well taken care of. The elevator situation has been very frustrating.

They seem friendly enough. Though I observed an employee help change my mother and not wear gloves or wash their hands after.

It's an ok place but you have to be involved and advocate for your loved one. A lot falls through the cracks. Overall very mediocre.

The assisted living is fine but their memory care area is a forgotten place. They need better activities and more professional care takers.

Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. Some of the follow up to questions, particularly medical, is slow in getting answers. Response to the call system is sometimes slow, especially at night. As for the facility, our biggest complaint is there is only one source for water. a sink in the bathroom. No water in the kitchenette. Cooking Utensils limited to coffee pot and microwave. There is a mini refrigerator. If you want or need a freezer, you must provide your own.

Grand Villa of DeLand can improve on their communication. Our loved one was listed as AL3 when he should of been MC3. The care level is now [fee removed] more than I expected and the invoicing was incorrect.

My loved one is currently a resident at Grand Villa of Delray East and overall the experience has been okay. However, my loved one has missing things from her room constantly. Also, most of the staff is not helpful.

It pains me to write this review because the staff at Tuscan has been so kind. I moved my mother into assisted living a year ago. I have witnessed a steady decline since. Tuscan is under new management and since they took over I have NOT felt that my mother was properly taken care of. They lost her medication and she was without it for four days, causing her to go into withdrawal. The food is TERRIBLE. They actually brought her a HALF of a stuffed cabbage for dinner, which was not edible. They have cut the hours of existing staff leading to an incredible shortage of staff. It got so bad that I had to move her last week - expense that we could not afford, never mind the stress it created for my mother. When I asked the director for a partial refund of her entrance fees, due to the failure to provide what was promised, my request was denied. Management knows there’s a big problem at Tuscan right now because it was quietly acknowledged to me that many people are complaining.

They don't offer meals for people with restricted diets. Housekeeping is a very minimal job ie: light dust and mop, that's all. Staff were all friendly. But for approximately 3k a month, you'd be better off renting a house and getting a cleaning person.

The latest manager is great so far. Lots of turnover with management. Some better than others. We had to move mom to memory care at an increased cost because she was starving to death literally

I picked this community because, It was the only place that told the VA hospital they would take me!

Grand Villa of Clearwater is a nice place. I'm glad that I chose this facility for my loved one. I would recommend this facility to others.

For the price that it cost for my dad to be here he should be doing a heck of a lot better than he was before coming. However, he seems like he's drugged, and unkept! He seems like he's in a one star facility and treated like it as well! I can also notice other patients have declined in their health since I've been coming here!

What we like about the community - they are renovating the facility from the hurricane. However what we do not like about the community is the nurses personality, but we would recommend this community to other families. I would add that pricing is negotiable. We held out and got the activity fee waived and a lower rent rate for an upper studio with porch

We toured Grand Villa of Delray East when searching for an Assisted Living Facility for our loved one. This facility was less expensive than some of the other facilities that we toured. However, I noticed quite a few residents sitting outside in the front of the facility. I assumed there was less for the residents to do at this facility.

Our family had an in person tour with Brentwood at Fore Ranch and overall it was a good tour experience but it was small and not too light with the only window in the bedrooms that we saw. There was none in the living room/kitchenette area.

It's a decent facility and my mom is well cared for. They do not have special diets targeted for their residents, however. My loved one has to advocate for herself for diabetic compliant meals and she doesn't. We picked this community, because of the cost, access to care providers/medical care within grand villa, and activities.

I say, go visit it yourself. I would tell them what issues I've had; what I like, what I don't like, etc. I would not recommend one way or the other. I don't recommend restaurants to people and I don't recommend stores; I just tell people my experience and let them go from there.

My loved ones initially chose Brentwook because they wanted 2 bathrooms/bedrooms and many facilities did not have 2 bathrooms nor did they have a 2 bedroom available. Brentwood offered to combine 2 singles into a 2 bedroom, which worked out well for them. They have been happy with the extra space, as ALF rooms/living space is very small in most places. The kindness of the majority of the staff and the responsiveness of the new administrator and Medical Director is what has kept them there. It is truly obvious many of the staff love what they do (names removed) and they have been very kind and helpful to my parents and us.
