I would rate everything a 5 except the food/dining as a 4. Mom was OK with the food, just not overjoyed.Having been a nurse for over 40 years, she always had a critical eye for the care she received. She praised far more staff than she complained about. The facilities were always well kept. While she didn't participate in many of the activities, we, her sons, appreciated knowing they were there.

The building is beautiful and airy, the residents are well taken care of and always smiling! I visit a friend here often and the staff always have a smile on their face. They always have stuff to do and have lots of live entertainment too. This is a place I would recommend to families to come see, highly recommend!

So happy I chose Anchor Bay for my Mom. After visiting her I feel at ease knowing she is receiving excellent care. Everyone I have been in contact with have been so helpful. I know I made the right decision choosing this Assisted Living facility for my Mom’s new home!

Anchor Bay is a very warm and welcoming. [name removed] the admissions manager is kind and understanding. He does a wonderful job guiding family members thru the difficult process of finding a caring place for their loved ones.

We chose Anchor Bay at Pocasset because it had availability and the process to get in was fast. I absolutely recommend to use A Place for Mom.

We are having such a smooth transition of moving my father into Anchor Bay. Both [name removed] and [name removed] have been so helpful. The apartment is great. My dad has made new friends and all have followed up and answered questions. Everyone is so friendly. Also the location is great.

My dad was at Brook meadow about 8 months and loved it. The staff is superb and there are all kinds of activities for everyone to enjoy. Extremely clean and homey. Would definitely recommend Brook meadow.

The transition of my Mom from her home to the Heights Crossing Memory Care Unit has been wonderful. The entire staff has been compassionate and caring working with our family during this difficult time. The services offered have helped my Mom to adjust and she has a whole new group of friends. Everything she needs is there from a hairdresser to a podiatrist. My Mom loves to entertain and she is able to assist the staff helping to set tables for dinner and folding the linen napkins. She is safe and cared for by a fantastic staff.

This is a wonderful facility! The staff tries very hard to work with all of the residents and make sure they are happy. It's bright and warm from the minute you walk in. I would recommend this facility to any family in need of placement for a loved one

I have had a great experience with Anchor Bay My dad is very happy there, his accommodations are so nice. There is plenty of activities. I guess the only complaint my dad has is that when he first went in the food was so good, but I guess they got a new chef so the food is not the same. All the employees are so nice and very accommodating. I would recommend the facility to anyone

I stopped by Anchor Bay at Pocasset for some information and enjoyed the visit. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and welcoming. The people there looked happy and were having lunch at the time. I will choose Anchor Bay when my family is ready for the move.

Nice facility, clean spaces, and friendly staff. They have activities for the residents to do. Apartments are comfortable and affordable. I would recommend to other families looking for places for their loved ones.

My mom lives here and every time I visit I feel more assured I made the right decision. The staff is excellent and they treat my mom like family. I couldn’t be happier for her and for me. I highly recommend Brookmeadow you won’t regret it.

We are happy we looked at brookmeadow. It’s clean, friendly, and a fun place for my mom. She really is enjoying her “new” life. It’s comforting to know she is checked on and if she needs anything the staff is there for her. I’m glad we chose the community. We had a few we looked at and this was by far the most friendly and home like feel.

I am so happy and relieved my mom is at Brookmeadow. Everyone has been so welcoming and gracious to mom and our family. They told us from the get go that it will all work out, mom will be happy and we will feel a sense of relief. They were exactly right! Highly recommend this community.

The transition for my Mom to Anchor Bay's memory care unit was so much easier than expected. The staff and administration have been very helpful in guiding us through this life changing event. They couldn't have made it any easier. The rooms are very nice. They have many activities to keep the residents invested. I would highly recommend Anchor Bay for your loved ones.

The factors that made us choose Neville Place as a good fit for our mom continue to be the factors that bring satisfaction: the setting-direct access to the walking trails around Fresh Pond; the openness to respecting the residents' apartments as their own with freedom to welcome overnight guests. The one area that continues to be problematic is inconsistency with the administration of eye drops in the self-administered drug program. In my mother's case, missing eye drops occasionally is not life-threatening but for residents for whom adherence to consistent meds is vital, this might be a significant problem. Many activities take place on the level below the lobby, which residents reach via an elevator. If a resident is not comfortable using an elevator independently (which is a challenge for my mother who is legally blind and not at ease in elevators) this is a bit of an obstacle. In general I do not think staff is prepared to make sufficient accommodations for residents with little or no vision. I think they are better prepared and able to accommodate residents with mobility issues (wheelchairs, walkers)

The value for cost is tough to rate because it's not inexpensive, however I WOULD recommend Cornerstone to anyone. What really stood out to us and what we like the best is the friendliness, patience and respect for everyone!

The alleged existence of a residents' band which exists but the leader didn't allow my brother to participate apparently because he didn't want to risk being upstaged. Not a great reason but that influenced my brother's decision.
