Every member of the staff has been wonderful. It is very clear that everyone there truly cares about the residents. Very clean and bright environment. Lots of community engagement whenever I visit, no matter the time of day. Not at all what I imagined an assisted living to be. I feel very comfortable knowing my loved one is well cared for.

It has been an incredibly positive experience for my mother since she decided to move into Anchor Bay during the Fall of 2024. She is in love with the size of her apartment (the largest of any unit she got to see when touring different communities) & is looking forward to the nicer weather ahead so she can take advantage of the breathtaking views of the Barrington Nature Preserve that the Anchor Bay community is situated on!

My mother had an accident, and after weeks in the hospital & rehab, we decided she would not return home, where she lived alone. We toured two local A L facilities, and set up a time to take my mother to make her own choice. From the first phone call, to arriving for the tour, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, including the residents. Much to my surprise, my mother showed no resistance, and quickly chose Anchor Bay, thankfully! [name removed] & team helped to make the transition from rehab to the apartment quite possibly the smoothest ever. They help with arranging the movers who specialize in these sudden situations, and even helped with paying for part of it, which was a nice surprise! All of the staff, from the front desk, kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping, nursing and other medical staff, couldn't be more helpful and supportive. No one has hesitates in responding to any question or concern. Every need gets met, and our peace of mind is intact & priceless. Most importantly, she's happy!

This search was new for me. In no time, my husband went from a vibrant, healthy guy to someone who was walking around our house, hallucinating in the night and in cognitive decline. After 6 weeks and no sleep, I called his primary care doctor and asked to prescribe a sleeping pill for my husband. The doctor called back and said 'get him to an ER as soon as possible. Psychoses was the word he used. So I did that. After 10 days in the hospital, I knew [name removed] couldn't come home right away or maybe ever. The social worker at the hospital suggested Anchor Bay as one of the facilities he works with. In fact the next day after he had moved in, [name removed] said 'this is a very impressive hotel'. The staff is kind, caring and always know how [name removed] is doing. I don't think you could find a better facility for someone you care about.

My stepfather moved into Anchor Bay EP approx 1 month ago. [name removed] and the team at AB was tremendously helpful, informative and patient. My stepfather is very comfortable in his memory care apartment. It really looks terrific. He's eating well, conversing with many of his neighbors (residents) and staff. He appreciates the quality of the food and the cleanliness his apartment and the common areas. Thank you Anchor Bay

Everyone gave us an opportunity to ask questions, did not feel rushed, and the staff on the memory care init are experienced and look out for the residents. I can personally attest to the food as we had Thanksgiving with my mom. Studio and 1 bedroom units are newly painted. Large enough for furniture without feeling crammed Clean. Bathrooms are handicapped accessible. Rooms available for special events for residents and families. We used a lovely solarium for her 97th birthday.

My husband loved his 2 respite care stays at Farmington Station. He had absolutely no complaints and neither we did I. I would have to give them a 5 for all 7 categories.

The responsiveness of Anchor Bay East Providence to my mother’s particular needs made the transition to memory care much easier. Thanks [name removed]! The whole family, including my mother, is very happy with where she is now. The meals are great too.

My Mom moved into Anchor Bay following a rehab stay after a fall, in October 2020. She has been a resident for 4 years and counting. The staff is and has always been incredibly friendly, attentive and capable. They take the time to get to every resident by name in addition to their interests, abilities and unique situations and needs. The atmosphere is very comfortable and the facility is fresh and clean. At 96 1/2, my Mom has felt very safe and comfortable living at Anchor Bay, and even though it's not her original "Home in NY State", she has said so many times that she really likes where she's living! I have recommended Anchor Bay to many of my friends who have decided to visit and move their aging parents into the facility, too! There are all kinds of activities and outings, as well as Holiday and special celebrations to appeal to almost everyone! From the time you walk in the front door, you feel welcomed and comfortable ~ for us, it's a great Place for Mom!

In late summer we had to place my mother in law in memory care. This was a difficult process emotionally and logistically. Anchor Bay is the perfect fit - it's the right size and the staff is so friendly and always know the updates on how my mother in law is. We couldn't be more grateful to [name removed], the Director of Sales and Marketing that wears MANY more hats that you'd expect with that job title, who we still see almost every visit. The move in and weeks after were a hard adjustment for our family. We were told by key staff members to trust the process and were given a timeline to set our expectations. Selfishly we thought our case was different, but now that we are past that estimated timeline we realize they were absolutely right. My mother in law is thriving at Anchor Bay with a solid routine, healthy meals, assisted care for showering... she is SAFE, and we are so grateful. This is never an easy transition, but if you have to make it, this is a lovely place to do it.

Anchor Bay is the perfect place for our loved one! It’s clean, bright & cheery! You walk into the lobby and it feels like you’re entering a house. It’s warm and welcoming. The staff is very attentive, friendly and always smiling. The activities director is truly amazing- offering many wonderful and fun activities. She really gets to know the residents and their interests. The admissions director is terrific and very impressive. He knows all the residents personally and always greets them by name and converses with them. The only complaint that we hear about Anchor Bay from our loved one is about the food. That has been an ongoing issue. Other than the food, Anchor Bay is perfect for our loved one! She is doing well there, socializing and enjoying all the activities. Her apartment is very nice with a little patio which she loves! Thank you Anchor Bay for making this transition easier and pleasant.

Anchor Bay is, and has been such a wonderful location for my father. Every step was smooth and clear from day one. Each staff member is helpful and kind. My father is happy, and well taken care of. My experience and expectations have been met, and we are extremely grateful to each member of the Anchor Bay Team!

My mother is so well taken care of at Anchor Bay. The staff has been wonderful, and my mother feels very comfortable with all team members she encounters. The senior leaders are incredibly approachable and responsive to my needs as a caregiver. I am confident we made the right choice with Anchor Bay.

My mom has been a resident at this facility since August 2024. The employees are very caring and helpful. The building is older, but clean and bright. The food is very good. My mom has slowly been adapting to her new environment with the help of the support staff. I do feel that this facility was a good fit for her, since as she needs more assistance with her care, we will have the opportunity to increase the frequency of help.

The admissions process was really pleasant. With all that needed to fall into place, [name removed] helped to make the transition smoother than I ever expected! [name removed] and the nursing staff knew what my mother needed, getting her the right resources and support to make her move a total success. It’s a warm environment, lovely staff and residents. My mother loves living at Anchor Bay.

So thankful to have found Anchor Bay of East Providence. EVERYONE is a team player to make their residents feel like family. The support that has been given to our family through this transition has been outstanding. I would highly recommend this facility and would be happy to speak with prospective residents and families if needed.

After having a bad experience at another assisted living facility near by we moved my father to anchor bay. Ever since it has been much better. Solid communication and understanding of individuals needs. Thank you AB.

So happy we chose Anchor Bay! My mother is receiving excellent care and has tons of friends! We found this facility to be reasonably priced compared to others in the area we toured. A great experience from the minute we first came in a few months ago. Definitely worth coming in for a tour!

We recently looked at moving my mom into Anchor Bay The process started months ago. [name removed] , the Director of Sales and Marketing was incredible kind and helpful to me and my siblings and my mom. He was great about staying in touch...not pushy at all but appropriately communicative. Every other member of the team with whom we met were also extraordinarily nice and helpful. At the end of the day, my mom wasn't ready to make the move but I am very grateful for all the understanding and compassion shown to my family.

Director [name removed] and the entire team are amazing. As anyone knows that’s gone through it, the process of moving anyone into assisted living is difficult at best. I recently had to quite quickly move my Uncle into a Memory Care facility. Several resources that I consulted suggested Anchor Bay East Providence. This was the 4th facility that I had visited, it was the farthest and I thought I had settled on an earlier facility. DO NOT MAKE YOUR FINAL DECISION without at least talking to Sean and taking a look at ABEP. It felt like [name removed] and team lifted the burden, shouldered it for ~ and the facility is beautiful. Sean helped me through every step of the process to include helping me determine how I would speak to my uncle about the transition. Thank you ABEP
