Good food, activities, friendly staff

My mom's in memory care unit. She's just returning from having fallen and breaking her hip. The facility is working with us to make sure my mom is looked after. We are looking forward to her continued happiness here!

Staff at the desk are the best part of Bloom at Belfair. They are always friendly and helpful. They are truly concerned for the residents. I give all of them a "10". (10 being the best)

Very, very pleased! It is a beautiful place and I am pleased to be here. There are some minor problems but there are everywhere.

My Uncle was only at Barrington Terrace for about 23 days.He was treated with compassion by kind caring nursing staff and individuals from Hospice.I saw others residents who were engaged and happy. If I needed to place another Family member into an assisted living facility and long term Memory Care. I would definitely look into Barrington Terrace.The rooms were clean Barrington Terrace is friendly,family style place.

My loved one was here for respite care, and overall, I feel that the environment was good for him. The staff was very nice, and very helpful. The food, to me, seemed pretty good, and the community itself was very clean and well taken care of.

I didn't like feeling claustrophobic when I had the tour. It was not a good experience. As for the tour, it was good and the woman who welcomed us was very helpful. It was not a good fit for my loved one.

We were well received on our tour as we looked for our mother/mother-in-law. We liked the one bedroom apartment with it's outside view and the price seemed reasonable. We would need to carefully calculate add-ons, however. Outside furnishings were a bit worn. But I don't think that would matter to her if she had an area to do some gardening. We would consider this facility if we bring our loved one to this area. The apple-pie gift for visiting was a nice touch and very tasty.

I really liked my tour of this community, the staff where very friendly and made my mother and I feel welcomed. I liked that they had a smaller community and not as many residents living there. They had a good staff to patient ratio which was also a positive aspect in my opinion. It was just a little our of our budget for my mother to be able to live there.

This was a nice community for assisted living, however we were looking for a more independent community. The people I met were nice and they do offer some nice activities.

We have had a very good experience, so far. It is very clean and neat. Like all places needs some casual furniture inside and out. So good to get outside make sure enough staff is on duty especially on the memory unit. There is always room for improvement.

It is one that makes a good attempt to cater to the many different types of people. Some who think their way is only way. I feel complete happy here.

Harlan has been there less than a week so he's still adjusting. I couldn't be happier with his care a the "hotel" (his words). All of the staff are professional and caring. The whole area is very clean and inviting. My only disappointment is the food. It's delivered to the memory unit from the kitchen. Our first meal was cold, not luke warm, but cold. Other meals have been barely warm and not very appetizing.

Barrington Terrace seems like a nice place, overall. It's a clean, well kept facility, and the people seem friendly. Up until just recently I would have rated them a 5, but we ran into an issue where a medical issue went unnoticed for an extended period of time. But other than the medical staff needing to be a little more observant our experience has been a good one.
