Senior Living Asset Management

I thought this was a good experience at Bloom overall. The community followed through with what they said they would do. The staff were engaging with my loved one and family. The continuation of care was a little bit goofy, and could be improved for the residents and could be improved in the future.

I think they are trying hard, the immediate staff are all very friendly. They are trying, but they are run like a corporation. Which I'd say is a negative because everything has to go through corporate and that can take a long time; and in turn, it doesn't have that personal element to it. They're not great communicators. My loved one has been there for some time and have only had their laundry done twice because somehow they didn't get put on the laundry list. I realize people can get lost and my loved one should speak up, but they aren't the kind of person who will do that. I have to keep contacting them to get things done because they're not great with communication, but maybe they will get better. I also realize that they are having staffing issues in relation to shortages and Covid, so we'll remain patient.

The main problem is the food is awful (not healthy). And they don't have enough staff - although that's not their fault. So so some of the non-medical staff can be rude and unpleasant. And response time to call buttons can be slow But the cost is reasonable, and the medical and care services are excellent otherwise. They do a good job monitoring my loved one's condition and transporting her to doctor appointments. And the facility is clean.

The services at Brookdale North have always been good, meals are just fine. Residents are very friendly and care about each other - staff is caring too.

Would like more transportation. Wonderful nursing staff and take very good care of me - excellent! Community inside and out is great.

We went with Bloom at Belfair because the community just felt more vibrant and had a very positive energy and enthusiasm both among the staff and the residents. Also the memory care unit we felt was the best out of the ones that we saw. Although that care is not needed right now, we like that we have that option in case it is needed in the future. We would definitely recommend the facility to others looking.

Canopy at Azalea Grove is a lovely place, the staff is friendly and I would recommend them. They are hard to contact on the phone after hours, but their communication before 5pm is great. They take a personal interest in the residents and their families. It's a place to call home.

The care was high; however, they didn't have as many activities for their residents as we wanted.

We've had a very good experience overall. The staff answer all the questions you have. They have really good activities. Really the main concern is response times are not as fast as we would like, but I suppose our expectations might have been unrealistic. But we're not getting follow-up until days after asking.

There wasn’t a significant difference between the places we visited. Like the other places we saw, Brookdale North Naples was a reasonably good facility. The tour was well organized and professional, and they explained things well. The differences came down to location, which played a small part in our final decision.

Overall, I'm very happy with the Canopy. The first thing I noticed was how clean and new everything is. The second is the staff who have all been very nice and helpful. They are taking good care of my mom who fell not too long ago and fractured her pelvis (she was not in their care when it happened) so her level of care has been increased since she first moved in. I would say the only complaint my mom has is regarding the food, but even as that goes, the director called me to ask what kind of food my mom likes in an effort to make some things she'd love. They even went so far as to bake a bread my mom talked about and called me to get the recipe. I would recommend the Canopy to anyone looking for an assisted living (or memory care) facility for their parents. The staff is always responsive if I have questions or concerns which I find really reassuring. Overall, it's a beautiful place and there are lots of activities and the staff cares!

In the beginning the communication was lacking as well as some of the care services our loved one signed up for, but we do think that covid impacted that greatly. We also do wish the orientation in the beginning was better, however we have been very pleased with them so far. The people there are very friendly and are great about coming to get our loved one for activities. Our loved one really enjoys the environment, it is about as homey as you can get give the circumstances. We do wish the food was slightly better but he does really enjoy the breakfast meals.

We chose Brookdale North Naples because of the location and the price, it was also a very nice facility. It was very new and modern, therefore it was cleaner and fresher looking than some others that we saw. I ate here once and the food is not that great and my father in law complained a lot about it. The room sizes here were on par with the others that we saw. I would recommend for the value and care they provided.

I love Brookdale of Naples and so does mom! The staff are amazing and they were all helpful along the way. It is obvious they too, are family. Right down to maintenance guy [name removed]! The only downside is that the dining room staff didn't breakdown the ins and outs of the menu and how to order when they knew mom was a newbie to the place. We had to ask a lot of questions and were still learning new tricks a week in to living there.

I have been very satisfied here. Their house keeping and good is excellent

Good food, activities, friendly staff

My mom's in memory care unit. She's just returning from having fallen and breaking her hip. The facility is working with us to make sure my mom is looked after. We are looking forward to her continued happiness here!

Staff at the desk are the best part of Bloom at Belfair. They are always friendly and helpful. They are truly concerned for the residents. I give all of them a "10". (10 being the best)

Very, very pleased! It is a beautiful place and I am pleased to be here. There are some minor problems but there are everywhere.
