It's really nice here. Friendly people. Very quiet. A great place to live.

The people here are amazing. The process took a little longer than we anticipated, but the staff were totally on top of it and made up for it by working harder. They have a lot of great activities provided. This was definitely the best option for independent living in the area. The location also worked out great since it is close to where she does some part time work. The facility is very clean and the staff is friendly and generally always available if she needs anything. It was overall a good experience.

Our loved one is able to cook her meals in the room and because of covid they have not really had any meals. We do believe the activities are starting to come back, however our loved one has not ventured to do any. We would definitely recommend this community to others.

I would be careful on which apartment you take. Some apartments have high temperatures and the community can't fix that per the management. It is a nice building.

This is a decent and quite community. The rooms are adequate.

IT IS NICE, HOWEVER I THINK IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE. MY ONE BEDROOM APT COST $1000 PER MONTH, AND IT IS LOCATED IN THE GHETTO OF CHICAGO. ALSO MY APARTMENT FACES THE TRAIN TRACKS, WHICH RUNS ALL DAY AND NIGHT AND IS VERY NOISY.

My mother recently moved into this facility and so far her experience has been positive. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The residents for the most part have been very welcoming. Experienced one slight hick-up but nothing to be overly concerned about so I have been told. Overall would recommend this facility.

I only seen a studio.I like it but too small.

Place was clean. Friendly and helpful person assisted me and my daughter on the tour of the facility. Residents appeared to be happy and adjusted. Unfamiliar with the area, therefore, did not feel very comfortable if walking outside of the facility.

The manager –[Removed] does a great job. Keeping our building is good shape and safe. However I feel this building can use some more maintenance help. Thank you.

I had my own home and wound up having to find somewhere else to live. After looking around for a bit, I found Senior Suites. It’s a big adjustment when you’ve been in your own home, but the location is nice and it’s quiet. They’ve got good staff here. When you ask them something, they’re not standoffish about answering. They’re a business but they’re concerned about how you feel about things. I give them a plus for that. My apartment is small, like an efficiency apartment, but it has a kitchen in it so I can cook my own food. They keep the facility extremely clean. I’ve been here 3 months so far and I’ve not found it unclean since I’ve been here. There are activities to do, they have a board and they give you a calendar for each month, I just don’t usually participate in them. The price isn’t bad, but it feels like the room is not that big. I would recommend them though.

My mom has just recently moved into Senior Suites of South Shore. It is a very tidy place and the apartments are small, but my mom loves her apartment which is the perfect size for her needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For the most part, everything is well-maintained and clean. They are very responsive in updating or fixing repairs needed. There are activities posted on a monthly calendar that they can choose to participate if they want to. There is transportation for the residents who need it to go shopping and for other excursions that they plan for the residents. I would recommend this community to friends and family.

Dad is still in the adjusting phase but he seems to be liking it so far. The staff is friendly and nice. They are understanding and don't pressure residents to engage if they are not really to do activities however they do encourage it. Every area of the community whether it be inside or outside appears clean and well kept. Dad seems to be enjoying the food no complaints

When I was searching for a place, I toured Senior Suites of Garfield Ridge. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The place was nice, but it was not as appealing as another community that I toured.

I liked the community when I stopped by to tour but it was rather small. My client didn't like the atmosphere either. The person who showed us the community was knowledge, very nice, and on time. The community was very presentable and nice.

I had a tour on Monday, March 13 at the Senior Suites of Norwood Park. This building is located near the Harlem CTA Blue Line Station. The property manager gave me a tour of the common areas only. Although I got to view two apartments at two of the other Senior Suites, the property manager here said she could not show me an apartment because of respect for the privacy of the tenants. This building also offers the same amenities, heat, electric, air conditioned apartments, laundry rooms. For anyone who is interested in Chicago architecture, on this site used to exist a monastery. The Passionist Fathers Monastery was designed by Chicago architect [Removed]r and completed in 1910, is locally significant under National Register Criterion C for architecture as a fine example of an early twentieth century monastery with Classical, Baroque, and Romanesque-style. Also, I would like to add a comment on public transportation. For those of you who rely on buses like me, I did not notice a bus stop near this building. And it is about a 3 to 4 block walk to the Harlem Blue Line Station.
