Senior Lifestyle - Suites

When I was searching for a place, I toured Senior Suites of Garfield Ridge. The tour guide was very friendly and helpful. The place was nice, but it was not as appealing as another community that I toured.

Real nice facility

Nice clean facility, with nice people

I liked the community when I stopped by to tour but it was rather small. My client didn't like the atmosphere either. The person who showed us the community was knowledge, very nice, and on time. The community was very presentable and nice.

I had a tour on Monday, March 13 at the Senior Suites of Norwood Park. This building is located near the Harlem CTA Blue Line Station. The property manager gave me a tour of the common areas only. Although I got to view two apartments at two of the other Senior Suites, the property manager here said she could not show me an apartment because of respect for the privacy of the tenants. This building also offers the same amenities, heat, electric, air conditioned apartments, laundry rooms. For anyone who is interested in Chicago architecture, on this site used to exist a monastery. The Passionist Fathers Monastery was designed by Chicago architect [Removed]r and completed in 1910, is locally significant under National Register Criterion C for architecture as a fine example of an early twentieth century monastery with Classical, Baroque, and Romanesque-style. Also, I would like to add a comment on public transportation. For those of you who rely on buses like me, I did not notice a bus stop near this building. And it is about a 3 to 4 block walk to the Harlem Blue Line Station.

I liked the area, the personnel is very friendly.

I have no complaints about this community and am very pleased with how things have gone so far for my mother. She has made a smooth transition into her apartment and seems to be enjoying herself as well as her new home. The staff where very helpful and welcoming with the move in process as well as the other residents. I also like the fact that there is a activity center on campus for all of the residents to enjoy together.

I'am really enjoying my time here at this community. It is a really nice place with kind people. Everything is very well-kept, and looks great. The staff is very friendly, and welcoming. All is well so far, and I would recommend this community.

My uncle is still adjusting to this community, and it is gonna take some time. I'am comfortable with his move to this community. It is a nice place, and since we are not in the same state, I had to make sure I found the right place for him. [Removed] was very helpful. She was very professional and understanding. It is a mellow community. Not to busy, but that is good for my uncle. They have nice outings outside the community. My SLA Kitty from a place for mom was great, I couldn't had done this without here.

Pleasant Tour of this facility. Everyone was very welcoming and happy. Cheerful vibe when you first enter. The residents appeared to be very happy and pleased to live there. All my questions were answered. It was a nice experience, but not the place for me.

Mrs. Taylor was very good. In explaining the availability & giving us our tour. The community is well kept and clean.

The community was very nice. It was clean and the common, areas looked comfortable. Miss Taylor spent a lot of time explaining the accommodations, taking us on a tour & answering all questions.

As far as I know, my friend is doing well. I was helping and we saw that this was a suitable home. She liked the community and she was happy. It seemed clean and the staff were nice. I would recommend this place to a family or friend in need.

Multiple breakdowns of washer dryers and air conditioners and stoves and refrigerator must be replaced not repaired all equipment is 16 years old.
