The staff and residents are friendly and caring. All residents say they are happy living there. The apartments, grounds and buildings are nice and laid out well. The fountains, fireplaces and courtyard are enjoyed and much appreciated. They have planned off campus activities once a week. Residents say they used to have more. They offer movies, exercise classes, arts and crafts, wii bowling, wii golf and many other fun and healthy activities. I know it takes a lot to upkeep and provide everything they do, however it seems to me and everyone else I've discussed this with that the money charged to live in all of the retirement communities is too high. Courtyard Fountains is priced fairly in comparison with others. They have an ongoing problem with remotes for the garages. They can stop working a couple of times per month. I've been told they don't have current plans to fix this as they don't want to spend the money. This is not good or safe for residents. Many do not have the best physical condition. They have to backup when it doesn't work and find somewhere else to park and/or walk into the garage and see if they can open it from the inside. Then get their car and drive into the garage. Myself and other residents and family members hope they change their mind and fix this soon. I wish they offered some in home care. At least help with medications, so residents could stay in their independent apartments longer. It is very expensive to bring someone in from the outside and stepping up to dependent care is extremely expensive. I'm glad they have a beauty salon with good stylists and now have a manicurist. They have a mini store open from 1-2 which is nice and helpful. The food is very good except the meat can tend to be tough more often than it should. I know this can happen anywhere sometimes. I like that they have set meal times and in addition a Bistro café with a nice offering of food so that residents can have something to eat if they miss the set meal times. They put out cookies, coffee and water in a couple of locations twice a day and snacks once a day. This is nice and appreciated. They also have a happy hour before dinner and many residents enjoy this social time. Overall I do like Courtyard Fountains and I'm glad to have my parent there. They are happy to be living there and I do recommend them to others. Thank you!

Loved the layout of the community. Loved to watch the residents join in to the music. Residents seemed happy. Looking for someplace closer to home since I plan on visiting daily.

I toured today. Staff seems friendly, called residents by name. They also have Assisted living here but Memory Care is on the 3rd floor & locked. Very clean, no odors, nice furniture. Didn't see many residents here there were several eating popcorn & watching a movie. Didn't sample food but they have 2 choices & option for "alway available" foods. $3,000 move in fee * provide own furniture.

It's a lovely place, My concerns were one the cost, 5% annual increase and it seemed geared to an older population. In 7 years if I could afford it, this would be the pace.

Lots of nice touches that show they have track record caring for seniors. Elevated electrical outlets. Call buttons. Great warm staff.

We placed our sister in Legacy @ Wellspring 9 months ago and have been very pleased with her care and attention given by the staff. The Director of the unit stayed over for her admission so her admission procedure would go smoothly. If we have a concern we voice it and it is addressed. My sister and I appreciate that we can ask any of the staff questions about our sister's status and they are able to assist. It has given us great piece of mind knowing she is well cared for and her needs are being met.

Very nice, they offer quite a bit. Mom is really enjoying it. Parking, transportation, trips, events and more. Chef from Strathallan, but meals don't seem to be quite the Strathallan level. I think part or the issue is an imposer Baywinde budget, which keeps the portions quite small. People that have been there a while say that the meals were much better in the past. For the premium price the meals fall short.

Absence of a pool was a drawback for me but very nice place

The main facilities were excellent, however, the independent living rooms were too small and 26 years old.

We really liked this facility. They have several screened in porches, a walking club, and pathes around the facility. The one bedroom is a great size and has great windows. They have larger refrigerators than most places. I really like that they never close the kitchen. It’s open all day and said they can eat six meals if they want or just come in for ice cream. The BEST of all is that they will not throw you out if you run out of money. They is a huge deal. They have doctors that come in, so you don’t have to take them out to their doctors. We have setup an appointment for next week to take my husband’s mother in for lunch and a tour.

[Name removed] was very helpful;provided lots of info. The building, rooms, and exterior were well maintained. Nicole and any other staff we encountered were all friendly. It was our first site tour so not ready to say this is the best but if my dad decides he’s ready to move out of his home, Canfield Place will definitely be considered.

Friendly staff, clean environment, Studio rooms really nice. Music entertainment, private areas and Courtyard added to a comfortable home atmosphere.

My parents were one of the first to move to the Sheridan. As it took some time to adjust, my mom was extremely thrilled and so happy to be in a place she felt safe, cared for and she couldn’t say enough good things about the staff. To her, it was like having her grandchildren around…and that meant everything. As it has been difficult for my dad since my mom’s passing last September, and then moving last month to Memory Care, he has adjusted so much more than we expected and I owe a lot of that to your staff. Especially in this last month in Memory Care, [Name removed] and her staff have done an exceptional job in making my dad feel comfortable and at peace in his new home. They have given the best quality care for my dad and really try to create a sense of community and family. They all really step up to the plate and go above and beyond in the midst of their busy, hectic jobs every day and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Beautiful Facility. [Name removed] was so energetic and engaging and kind. The residents were lively and engaged, and I arrived during exercise class and was invited to join while I was waiting to meet [Name removed] . Unfortunately, Park Creek Place is outside our budget, so we will Pass.

Nice size rooms, lots of closet space. Apartment was on the 14th floor and momma said no to the location. I personally didn't like the garage. I thought it was way too dark down there.

Really spread out facility; lots of amenities. Apartments are smaller than I would like. But nice. [name removed] would get lost on his own. I would always have to accompany him. Great food.

I took a tour of this facility and thought the units were nice. They were a decent size and there were a variety of unit types available that had garages. However, the price was a bit expensive. I’ve heard from other people I know that it’s a nice place to live as long as you’re self-sufficient. The cleanliness was good and I didn’t see anything that looked out of place. I haven’t heard anything good about the assisted living part of the community, so I would say do your research before moving your loved one in.

very nice facility. nice staff. loved the largest room available. menu was good. residents seemed to enjoy the activity they were doing and seemed to socialize with each other. activity calendar seemed pretty full. definetly on my radar to return.

My favorite of the four that I saw in the Woodland Hills area, the stretch of 101. I liked the property layout, the cafeteria, the overall feeling of the place. I am not pursuing properties in that area at this time, as we feel my mother would be most comfortable in the South Bay where she is now. I like the property, but [Removed] does not want to leave Harbor Terrace nor San Pedro. We will not likely move to Meadowbrook.
