We liked Baywinde very much. Probably our top choice. Lots to do, high quality food, and well-kept facilities. [Name removed] was so helpful, especially when talking to us about Aid and Attendance from the VA.

Moved my mother in recently after her second hospital stay in 6 months. It was a tough decision but, we really had no choice. The team at Bayshore has made the transition fast, smooth, and easy - helping with even the smallest details. We know they care, they keep a positive atmosphere, and the food and facility are top notch. It's comforting to know Mom is safe and being well cared for. We toured many other facilities in Naples, Ft Myers, and Bonita Springs knowing this would happen at some point...Bayshore was, comprehensively, the best...highly recommend! Make the decision, you'll be relieved you did

Our mom has lived in Lincolnwood Place for 7 years. She loves the staff; [Name removed] and his staff are very very understanding. it may take then a while to get parts, but they get the job done. Recently [Name removed] actually personally purchased a digital thermostat for our mom so she could adjust her own hvac. She is almost blind so a digital unit was essential. [Name removed], the assistant director of maintenance is always a gem as is [Name removed] the head housekeeper. We highly recommend this facility, It is a hidden delight.

I moved my Mother into the Sheridan when it opened in Sept 2016. She lived in three other facilities before coming to the Sheridan. Eleven years ago she moved into an assisted living facility 5 hours from Elgin. As time past she began to have memory problems. Since I am the only family member I decided to move her near me. The Sheridan at Tyler Creek staff members on the memory floor were good for my mother. If problems became noticeable such as getting sick, if she fell, had a bruise, or any concerns that they felt needed attention, they immediately called me. My mother received excellent care during her stay at the Sheridan. The Memory Care Director was excellent to work with. She listened to my concerns and did what was best for my mother. I appreciate everything she did for mom. The day my mother past several caregivers came to her room to say their final good bye. Some left in tears. I knew at that time I placed my mother in good hands at the Sheridan. The caregivers cared about my MOTHER.

Autumn Ridge has been a blessing for our family and daughter, [Name removed]. The administrative staff have worked at Autumn Ridge for many years which speaks volumes. The facility is beautiful, well maintained and the residents are treated with respect and well cared for.

My mother in law's condition began requiring more care than we were able to provide for her in our home. After much family discussion and searching, we decided to place her at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston. The staff couldn't have been nicer. They treated her like their own family. My MIL made many friends, attended all the activities and seemed overall 'happier" than she'd been in years. Her medical condition eventually required the care of CNS hospice, and their additional care for Mom AND all the family members was more than we could have asked for. I can't begin to thank enough, the staff at Autumn Ridge of Clarkston, and CNS hospice.

To the staff of Sheridan at Tyler Creek ….your work and your devotion do not go unnoticed, even if the one you care for may not be able to say “thank you.” You are appreciated, worthy, loved, respected and you make a difference. Please know you have value and ARE valued. Even if you never hear these words from those you care for or others around you, please accept these heart-felt words from the [Name removed] Family.

From the nurses, CNAs, the front desk, the office, the engineers, the kitchen / dining staff, housekeeping and Memory Care….they ALL have been a blessing to my parents since being at the Sheridan. I have been my parents’ caretaker for 8 plus years and stay every weekend here at the facility. I have gotten to know the staff and residents all very well as they have gotten to know my parents and I as well. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate every one of the staff. They roll up their sleeves every day, no matter what the task, to take care of the residents, keep them safe and help keep their dignity. In a way, they have become a part of our family….as we are all in this together. Staff has become a community that not only gives from their heart but you can feel and see their love and compassion for each resident in what they do. Thank you Sheridan at Tyler Creek for making a difference.

I`m a family member of a currently resident that has called Canfield Place her home for a year and half. As me being a caregiver in hospice care, and long term care facilities, I have really seen the compassion and caring staff at Canfield Place. They not only make the residents feel welcomed and loved but also the family members and guest. I would recommend for any families to check out Canfield Place to make their loved one feel at home.

My mother has lived in her apartment for the past 4 years and has made some great friendships. Moving my mom here was the best decision I made as she has her independence back. The staff is kind and has compassion when working with the seniors. The community is very homey.

Canfield Place is a great place, compared to the other places that I have been to. Its it's best there is out there because small enough for individual care and giving my loved one the attention she deserves. Yet it is large enough to take care of any problems that ever came about. My aunt of 101 years old has been here over a year and I have never considered her moving her any where else. The staff is very friendly and easy to get along with and are always there when ever anything is needed.

After looking at several facilities in the Palm Beach Gardens/Jupiter area, my Mom and I decided Mangrove Bay was the best option to meet her needs. My Mom spent her last 3 1/2 years at Mangrove Bay, and they were some of her best years. The entire staff was wonderful, and the facility is spotless. My Mom was always fussy about cleanliness and as a result, would often not eat in restaurants. Well, the staff had taken her into the kitchen, and as she put it, it was clean and organized. From the first time we met with [name removed], and then several other staff...[six names removed] (and I know I forgot to list so many others), Mom and my family were comfortable and knew she was in excellent hands. Although my Mom was in Independent Living, the staff look after her and if there were any questions in regard to her health, etc. they would immediately call. I highly recommend this facility and could not be more pleased with everyone involved!

Moving from a large home in which I lived for 50 years was traumatic. However, the transition was made easier by the help I received from the staff. I now am quite happy here, made new friends participate I many of the programs and events are given here. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. It's a great place.

Could not be happier!! What a gem! These people actually care! I am only sorry I had to put my mother through the ordeal of a very bad wrong choice/mistake before we landed here.

When my husband arrived at the Bayshore, he was greeted by several staff members. It made [name removed] feel right at home. Bayshore is caring, loving and a safe place for your loved one.

My mother was a resident of Somers Place for almost three years. There are no words to express the loving, attentive and generous care she received from the entire staff, including nurses, administrators, aides and even the cook! It is a warm and friendly environment, clean and also has very good food.

I was looking for a place for my dad. I also wanted a place that both parents could be together with their dog. Canfield Place was the perfect solution. Fourteen months later my mom is still here. My dad passed away in February. Canfield Place was his home away from home. He still had his independence and integrity. The staff and nurses are so wonderful. The community relations manager was so thorough and knowledgeable at my first visit. Her enthusiasm and interaction with the patrons was fantastic. She is the main reason I chose Canfield Place for my parents. I gladly recommend Canfield Place for any one looking for a place for their loved one.

My mother has been at this facility for 6 months now and we are extremely happy. My mother at last is in a facility where she feels safe and that is for good reason as they have security cameras everywhere as well as highly trained staff checking in on her around the clock. The food at Bayshore is really good and Chris is great in putting together functions to get the residents out so they can enjoy life more. So if your looking for a clean,safe professional staff for a loved one this is the place.

After researching homes for my dear wife for a year, I chose Bayshore Memory Care. My homework paid off. She is adjusting well there as i continue to be pleased by the professional, loving care she is receiving. This was the only memory care I visited that I did not feel depressed being there. So many places are very clinical. I wanted a place that could feel more like home. Bayshore has that feel! It is clean, spacious and pleasing to the senses. The staff is experienced and friendly. They are engaging so I don't feel put off. They truly listen to understand what I am saying as one who is part of the Bayshore team. They have never tried to shut me out. They take a very pragmatic approach to allowing family to be involved. Bayshore does not believe in a one shoe fits all approach. I like that. Yet staff knows what they are doing without being a know it all! Very refreshing!!! My wife's doctor is provided by Bayshore and He is outstanding!!! Activities are engaging and interesting. On one activity, a picture was taken that was sent to me. As is said,"A picture is worth a thousand words". Well this picture captured the moment of happiness on my wife's face which translated into peace for our daughters who needed to know that mom was happy. I cannot put a numeric value to all that my wife and I have experienced because you cannot pay for intrinsic value that I have discovered at Bayshore. My wife is my treasure. I want only the best for her. I am at peace that she is right where she needs to be, And last but not least, the food is a joy to eat. I do not take for granted their tasty, well prepared and presented food. What a blessing!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Park Creek Place. My sister and I could no longer take care of our father, who has dementia, at home. So we began to look for a memory care facility for him. The setup of Park Creek Place is very warm and inviting. The large, open courtyard-like room in the front serves as a gathering place for activities, and as the reception area for visitors. There are two identical wings off the main room with dining areas, enclosed gardens, activity rooms and the bedrooms. What we liked is that the residents can move freely among all the different areas safely according to what they feel like doing. The bedrooms are set up nicely and have plenty of room. Our experience in visiting many assisted living facilities is that the people who work there make all the difference in the world as to the feel of a facility. And the people that work at Park Creek Place could not be nicer. The community is small, and feels like someone's home rather than an impersonal institution. Every staff member knows every residents' name, and refers to them as “my friend [name removed]” instead of [name removed]. They have been so helpful in transitioning our father to the community, and in making the family feel comfortable that he will be well cared for in his new home. They have been excellent at keeping the family informed about the important and the routine events in his new life. My sister and I visit several times a week and call to speak to our father when we cannot be there. When we do call, [name removed] or [name removed] always mention how his day is going or something sweet that he did. Another impressive thing we noticed about the staff is that everyone is willing to do whatever is needed at a particular moment, even if it is not within their usual job description. For example, one day [name removed], the director of memory care, was leading a group activity and another day she was helping a family move in by finding a hand cart for them to use. [name removed], the community relations director, helped us set up a FaceTime conversation between our mother and father when they could not be together. We have had two family gatherings at Park Creek so relatives could visit with our father. And the staff helped us reserve the room, bring additional tables into the room and then clean up after. They did not have to help, but it was very nice that they did. The number of daily activities and special monthly activities planned for the residents each day is impressive. [name removed] and [name removed] are terrific at including every resident in a particular activity. Because some residents speak softly, they make the effort to lean in when asking the resident a question so they can hear the resident's answer, and then repeat it for the group. They cheerfully help the residents move to various areas for each activity, sometimes putting their arm around the resident's shoulder to gently guide them, or holding another's hand or pushing them in their wheelchairs. What impressed us is that every resident is included, and no one is ignored. The small touches tailored to the residents' age mean so much, such as playing music that the residents are familiar with. Park Creek Place usually has music on from the fifties, sixties and seventies. They celebrate each resident's birthday with balloons and a song. Family members are invited to join their loved ones for special activities each month. So far we have attended several entertaining musical performances, a really interesting exotic animal night and various holiday get-togethers. They also host an Alzheimers/Dementia support group every month. Our father has received excellent medical care from the Care Management staff. When he needed to go to the hospital they called us immediately and kept us informed as to his diagnosis and when he would be returned to the facility. We appreciate that they have regular care plan meetings scheduled with the family, and that they are available to discuss concerns and issues at any time. [name removed], the care services manager, and the nurses have been very helpful in answering questions during our father's transition to memory care. All in all, we have had a very positive experience with Park Creek Place and are very happy to have our father there.
