Could not be happier!! What a gem! These people actually care! I am only sorry I had to put my mother through the ordeal of a very bad wrong choice/mistake before we landed here.

When my husband arrived at the Bayshore, he was greeted by several staff members. It made [name removed] feel right at home. Bayshore is caring, loving and a safe place for your loved one.

My mother was a resident of Somers Place for almost three years. There are no words to express the loving, attentive and generous care she received from the entire staff, including nurses, administrators, aides and even the cook! It is a warm and friendly environment, clean and also has very good food.

I was looking for a place for my dad. I also wanted a place that both parents could be together with their dog. Canfield Place was the perfect solution. Fourteen months later my mom is still here. My dad passed away in February. Canfield Place was his home away from home. He still had his independence and integrity. The staff and nurses are so wonderful. The community relations manager was so thorough and knowledgeable at my first visit. Her enthusiasm and interaction with the patrons was fantastic. She is the main reason I chose Canfield Place for my parents. I gladly recommend Canfield Place for any one looking for a place for their loved one.

My mother has been at this facility for 6 months now and we are extremely happy. My mother at last is in a facility where she feels safe and that is for good reason as they have security cameras everywhere as well as highly trained staff checking in on her around the clock. The food at Bayshore is really good and Chris is great in putting together functions to get the residents out so they can enjoy life more. So if your looking for a clean,safe professional staff for a loved one this is the place.

After researching homes for my dear wife for a year, I chose Bayshore Memory Care. My homework paid off. She is adjusting well there as i continue to be pleased by the professional, loving care she is receiving. This was the only memory care I visited that I did not feel depressed being there. So many places are very clinical. I wanted a place that could feel more like home. Bayshore has that feel! It is clean, spacious and pleasing to the senses. The staff is experienced and friendly. They are engaging so I don't feel put off. They truly listen to understand what I am saying as one who is part of the Bayshore team. They have never tried to shut me out. They take a very pragmatic approach to allowing family to be involved. Bayshore does not believe in a one shoe fits all approach. I like that. Yet staff knows what they are doing without being a know it all! Very refreshing!!! My wife's doctor is provided by Bayshore and He is outstanding!!! Activities are engaging and interesting. On one activity, a picture was taken that was sent to me. As is said,"A picture is worth a thousand words". Well this picture captured the moment of happiness on my wife's face which translated into peace for our daughters who needed to know that mom was happy. I cannot put a numeric value to all that my wife and I have experienced because you cannot pay for intrinsic value that I have discovered at Bayshore. My wife is my treasure. I want only the best for her. I am at peace that she is right where she needs to be, And last but not least, the food is a joy to eat. I do not take for granted their tasty, well prepared and presented food. What a blessing!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Park Creek Place. My sister and I could no longer take care of our father, who has dementia, at home. So we began to look for a memory care facility for him. The setup of Park Creek Place is very warm and inviting. The large, open courtyard-like room in the front serves as a gathering place for activities, and as the reception area for visitors. There are two identical wings off the main room with dining areas, enclosed gardens, activity rooms and the bedrooms. What we liked is that the residents can move freely among all the different areas safely according to what they feel like doing. The bedrooms are set up nicely and have plenty of room. Our experience in visiting many assisted living facilities is that the people who work there make all the difference in the world as to the feel of a facility. And the people that work at Park Creek Place could not be nicer. The community is small, and feels like someone's home rather than an impersonal institution. Every staff member knows every residents' name, and refers to them as “my friend [name removed]” instead of [name removed]. They have been so helpful in transitioning our father to the community, and in making the family feel comfortable that he will be well cared for in his new home. They have been excellent at keeping the family informed about the important and the routine events in his new life. My sister and I visit several times a week and call to speak to our father when we cannot be there. When we do call, [name removed] or [name removed] always mention how his day is going or something sweet that he did. Another impressive thing we noticed about the staff is that everyone is willing to do whatever is needed at a particular moment, even if it is not within their usual job description. For example, one day [name removed], the director of memory care, was leading a group activity and another day she was helping a family move in by finding a hand cart for them to use. [name removed], the community relations director, helped us set up a FaceTime conversation between our mother and father when they could not be together. We have had two family gatherings at Park Creek so relatives could visit with our father. And the staff helped us reserve the room, bring additional tables into the room and then clean up after. They did not have to help, but it was very nice that they did. The number of daily activities and special monthly activities planned for the residents each day is impressive. [name removed] and [name removed] are terrific at including every resident in a particular activity. Because some residents speak softly, they make the effort to lean in when asking the resident a question so they can hear the resident's answer, and then repeat it for the group. They cheerfully help the residents move to various areas for each activity, sometimes putting their arm around the resident's shoulder to gently guide them, or holding another's hand or pushing them in their wheelchairs. What impressed us is that every resident is included, and no one is ignored. The small touches tailored to the residents' age mean so much, such as playing music that the residents are familiar with. Park Creek Place usually has music on from the fifties, sixties and seventies. They celebrate each resident's birthday with balloons and a song. Family members are invited to join their loved ones for special activities each month. So far we have attended several entertaining musical performances, a really interesting exotic animal night and various holiday get-togethers. They also host an Alzheimers/Dementia support group every month. Our father has received excellent medical care from the Care Management staff. When he needed to go to the hospital they called us immediately and kept us informed as to his diagnosis and when he would be returned to the facility. We appreciate that they have regular care plan meetings scheduled with the family, and that they are available to discuss concerns and issues at any time. [name removed], the care services manager, and the nurses have been very helpful in answering questions during our father's transition to memory care. All in all, we have had a very positive experience with Park Creek Place and are very happy to have our father there.

Loved the architecture, floor layout, and homey atmosphere of this facility. [Name removed] was especially welcoming and helpful in guiding us through the tour and the selection process. Residents seemed active and involved with plenty of opportunities for interaction and socializing. We also liked the availability of medical personnel on premises as well as the skilled nursing option if necessary.

My parents have lived in senior independent at Lincolnwood Place for two and a half years and we have nothing but high praise for the facility and its staff. They live in a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment. The apartments are comfortable and come will fully equipped kitchens. Although two meals per day are included in rent and the food is quite good with ample choices, sometimes my folks like to cook in their own apartment. They appreciate having that option. There is never a shortage of on-site activities including movies, concerts, lectures, discussion of current events and daily happy hour in the pub. The staff is incredibly friendly and greet each resident by name. Anytime we have had a question or needed anything, we have gotten assistance quickly, professionally and with great pleasure. The building has been going through some updating, remodeling and reconfiguring over the last year which made it necessary for my folks to move to a different apartment. The Executive Director, [name removed], did an excellent job of keeping everyone informed of the progress. She promised those affected that Lincolnwood Place would take care of the entire move and would do everything possible to make it hassle-free and stress-free for the residents. She absolutely kept her word. The move to a different apartment happened a couple of months ago and we, quite literally, did not have to lift a finger. My folks and I went out for the day and came back to the new apartment, completely set up including everything perfectly placed in every room, the pantry is the exact same order and all the clocks reset. It truly felt like someone waved a magic wand and the move was done! That type of service, kindness and care for the residents is what we have experienced in every situation since my parents moved in. I would certainly recommend Lincolnwood Place to anyone looking for senior independent living.

I toured this community. It is very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

My mom has been at Renaissance on Peachtree since January 2018 and lives on the Assisted Living floor. She requires help with all aspects of daily living: dressing, using the bathroom, bathing, etc. My dad, who is still able to live alone and care for himself, visits her three days a week and has had a lot of interaction with the Assistant Director and staff. My son, brother, and I visit every week. We are all impressed by the consistent quality of care at and management of this facility. The staff have been wonderful with my mom. They make all the difference in the world! They sincerely and genuinely care for and about all the residents. They are friendly, helpful, competent, and well trained. The food is delicious and the variety of daily and weekly activities is excellent. They even had a Mardi Gras parade (we’re from New Orleans), complete with bead throwing! For my parent’s 64th anniversary, all my dad had to do was ask and they arranged a very special, private dinner for them with white tablecloth, candlelight, wine, steaks, and a private, tableside chef. Everything about Renaissance on Peachtree is first class, from the atrium that looks like a five star hotel, to the hair salon, exercise classes, movies, transportation service, and weekly outings to various places around Atlanta. There is something for everyone here; it doesn’t matter if you’re completely independent or require a good deal of assistance. Each resident is treated with the same level of caring and respect. It’s close to shopping, hospitals, grocery stores, and everything else in the heart of Atlanta, for those who are more mobile. Also, they allow pets—so important to quality of life as we age. Visitor parking is quite limited but they have complimentary valet parking, so it’s never a problem. This is definitely the kind of place you want for your loved one. My family and I would highly recommend Renaissance on Peachtree to anyone looking for an assisted living facility in Atlanta.

First choice...great rooms..lovely facility..waiting on opening..

Everyone has been so friendly and helpful with us from the beginning of the process. The facility is clean and I was immediately struck with how active and engaged the residents are. We also like all of the options available to meet our budget.

Our mother was cared for at Logan Place for a little over a year before she passed. The staff cared for her and took great care of her. They always made rounds to make sure every resident was available for meals and activities. If a resident can't or won't make it for meals, the staff will bring them something to eat in their room. I checked in with the staff on what she was doing when family wasn't there and they were very honest on what was happening. It gave me the opportunity to talk to her and call them to give instructions when she refused to eat. Elder care is not easy, they can be defiant at times, but the staff handle it well. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a smaller, caring environment.

Our Mom had her last year at Sheridan. We couldn't have been happier with the care she received. We had lunch with her almost every day, and always witnessed a caring and tender group of people interacting with all on the memory-care floor. They are a terrific group, and we are very happy that our Mom finished her life with these amazing caretakers.

Everything has been great and my love one really likes it here. The people are really great and it’s such a nice place. My love one enjoys participating in their activities like the exercise classes and she also enjoys the meals. She even made some friends and she is really happy. Since the property encourages the families to go and visit to eat with them and such we’ve actually met some of the residents as well and they’re great. Our first staff interaction was great, they spent so much time with us in giving us a tour, they explained to us all of their services, they were so helpful, and they were willing to work with us. For my love one this is the best decision we’ve made, I recommend this property to other families that are looking into their options.

Beautiful facility with caring staff.

The director here is just fabulous and kept a close eye on all of the residents. This facility is wonderful and my In-Law was happy here. He really liked when they had bus trips to the casinos. The atmosphere is really welcoming here and the residents are just as friendly. This community is one of the cheaper ones I’ve seen, however, we had to move my Father-In-Law out because we wanted him to be closer to us. I would recommend this facility to other families.

My friend is very very happy here. I am very pleased that she is living each day to the fullest and she is enjoying herself. She has made friends, she has her little dog with her, and she’s comfortable where she’s at. She also really enjoys the food and they provide a variety of choices. They offer 2-3 entrees and they told her if she doesn’t like whats there she could get a salad, sandwich, or burger. However, so far she enjoyed everything that was offered to her. She participated in bowling lessons on the Wii and they told her to get on a team or join a league. This was actually the first place that we went to while looking into our options. After our two hour tour we walked out the door and we ran into a good family friend. He and his 3 sisters have gone to 7 different ones. They ended up settling on this one. They trusted them so much with their mother so we didn’t need to look any further. They did all the leg work that we were planning to do. During our tour we were really impressed. [Removed] took us around and he was very patient with us. We had written down all our questions and he took the time to answer each one. He is very helpful.
