And area that Arbor Village at Hillcrest could improve on would be to have more staffing. Also they could have better use of digital environment for the residents. However with those improvements I would recommend Arbor Village at Hillcrest to other families.

The staff they did have at Westwind was very well trained and very compassionate. There just wasn't enough of them.

Staff is refreshed every two weeks on latest techniques on Alzheimer's and dementia residents. Very friendly and professional staff. Great communication from manager of the staff on my mothers condition from week to week. Residents able to share rooms to keep cost down. Lots of daily activities. Only improvement is to make it easier to schedule an in house appointment with the hair stylist. Nothing else negative to say than the hair stylist. Great community and staff. We are very happy about our experience with Canyon Trails.

We had a positive tour at Canyon Trails. I liked the people there. Since they didn't offer fall protection technology, I was just concerned about my loved one's safety as a fall risk.

Always keep an eye on your loved ones and monitor, make you presence known and Canyon Trails will report back quite well.

We chose Westwind Memory Care because of the close location and they accommodated my budget and were willing to work with us on the price. One thing that I think they could improve on the quality of the foods, I don't think they serve enough fresh fruits and vegetables, it is a lot of starches. Overall I would absolutely recommend them to others.

This is a very nice community for your loved one. My loved one is very happy here and it is worth checking out if you are looking for a place for your loved one. My loved one feels like this community has good vibes and the feeling that she was looking for, she knew this was where she was supposed to be.

I would tell my friends that it is a good community. The activities had happy hours on Friday with music, balloon toss, art and crafts, and bingo. The nurses and aides were ok, They seemed overwhelmed to me. I feel they were overworked.

Computers were down so [name removed] called, answered my questions and sent me some videos so I could see the unit and the property. Mom and Dad could stay together, but if needed later memory care is next door. Kitchenette in room seems adequate. Nursing would still have to approve mom in assisted living are with Dad, but since she can't wander should be fine. Covid test and quarantine but can be together.

Toured the facility today. [name removed] was very informative and helpful.

[Name removed], Community Relations Director, is spunky and interacted with every resident! Facility includes memory care.

This facility is generally good. We had to remind the staff to provide some of the promised care for the first several weeks. All is going good now.

We felt we belonged to this "community" on our first visit. Very friendly, nice mix of people - singles and couples, too. Staff is very caring and helpful.

Nice facility. Liked the location. Accommodations were a little dated, but renovations were being made. Nice courtyard area.

My mom stayed here for about a week. It’s a much older facility, built in the 50s I believe, and originally it was senior living apartments. Just from the small amount of time she was there, I liked them. I liked the size of the rooms because they were bigger than a few other places we had looked at and the kitchenettes in the rooms were much more spacious. There were lots of big trees around and it just looked nice. I wasn’t able to have a whole lot of interaction with the staff there because when I had brought her, I was leaving for vacation. They seemed friendly enough, though, and she didn’t complain about her stay. She said everything went okay.

My loved one is very happy here. She is doing the activities and enjoys the social events. The staff is friendly and nice. The community is clean. We both enjoy the food it is very good. I am happy with the choice we made.

Canyon Trails was a very nice and brightly decorated community that we toured. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We chose another community based on my parents being able to transition into memory care.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my loved one since she has made the move into this community. The staff have been helpful and attentive to all of her needs to the best of there ability. She has had no complaints about the meals and enjoys participating in some of the activities from time to time. Overall it has been a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

I have no complaints about how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. She absolutely loving her new living environment which is most important to me. My mother has been participating in many of the activities they have to offer as well as getting her hair done every two weeks. Bingo and the poker seem to be her favorite with her new friends that she has made. Overall I am very pleased with her experience and would recommend it to anyone.
