She was there for three weeks Respite, but it was the most wonderful place! The caregivers were gentle, sweet and kind. They knew who I was when they called and where able to give me updates about my Grandmother when I asked. The dinning area is looks like a restaurant, my Grandmother still goes on about how wonderful the food was there. The executive director and the marketing director, both named Sherri, were beyond helpful and were always there when I needed them. The rooms where kept clean and each resident has their own room with their own key, they can even have their pet move in with them. The grounds are safe and beautiful with plenty of places to enjoy the sun or shade. Everyone smiles there and to me that says a lot.

I think that the biggest thing for my mom is that everything shuts down so early. I recognize that a lot of it is, half of the residents are independent living who can go off and drive and do their own thing and then their are the others who are assisted living and unable to get out and around, so a lot of people like my mom would appreciate it if things were going on during the evening, even just once in a while. My loved one just gets kind of lonely in the evening. The value of the food is amazing. The quality is really, really good. Another thing they have is a salon which is pretty neat. There is just no comparison. They also have once-a-week maid service. All-in-All I am pretty happy.

I think they did a good job in presenting the place to us and everything that they said they would do they have don.e They have not raised the prices or anything and there were no surprises. One thing they could have done better was to have his apartment completely ready on time before he moved in.

I am very satisfied that my mother is being taken care of. The facilities are clean and the people are very attentive. The staff is very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this facility.

Westmont Living was a great experience for my dad and for our family. The aides were caring and helpful. The food was great! Our dad only survived 1 week - but the facility was genuinely caring and helpful.

Mom and Dad are doing good and settling in well. I would rate the cleanliness at a 4 only because there are some stains in the carpets. However the apartment that Mom and Dad moved to has clean carpets and the walls were repainted. It was all nice. The staff that we have worked with have been really helpful, and nice and wonderful to work with. My parents feel like they have settled in fairly quickly. It is hard to tell how the care services are as they have only been living there a week. They did run out of pills for Dad last weekend and I'm unsure if that is due to just getting connected and getting things straightened out. However the nurse notified me right away that there was an issue and got it taken care of. Everytime I visit there are buses loading people up to take them to activities. So there seems to be a fair amount of activity for them. As for value, we are getting a good value with this community

They are doing a good job so far. It's all pretty good. There sometimes are a little short on staff, but I think that happens anywhere. The people are all pretty friendly, and we are pretty happy with them.

Sonia made us feel very welcome. We took a tour and had lunch in November.

Dad was on the dementia side, and they went out of their way to help him out and do the right sort of activities for patients with mental illness. They took us by hand through the transition from not knowing what we were doing to getting set up and it was a very smooth transition. Dad always had a fear of living in a place like this, but it was nothing like he feared, but was rather a very pleasant atmosphere.

Everything with Hillcrest Retirement & Assisted Living has been great! Mom is very very happy with everything. She loves and takes part in the activities. Jenny and April, as well as everyone else involved, have been very friendly, nice, and accommodating. I really can't think of anything that could be better!

They were very helpful! I like the looks of the facility. The staff is very friendly. I think my father will adjust just fine there, though he has only been there a short while and is still getting acclimated at this point,

My father Frank [Removed], has been residing at Topanga Park Retirement for 5 1/2 years with Alzheimer's. After looking at about 35 places I chose Topanga Park for many reasons and I am so happy that I made the right decision. Charlie and the staff are like family members to my father and I. The way in which Charlie and the staff interact with the residents in such a friendly and dignified manner is a huge relief to me, I can sleep at night knowing that my father is safe, well fed, entertained and physically and emotionally cared for. The grounds are so lovely in the back patio, the food is great and I feel so grateful to the staff. I could not have chosen a better place, thank you so much for all your help over the years and continued help.I have never regretted choosing Topanga Park Retirement to my father's home

I'm very satisfied with SeaView Senior Living. I'm pleased with their services. I'm happy with the staff, the cleanliness of the facility, and the care they provide. There have been no issues to deal with, and there are no complaints. I would definitely recommend Sea View to other, in fact, my mother in law is on the waiting list.

A token of my family's deep appreciation for the excellent attention my mother received while under your care. We couldn't have asked for a better facility for her. I was constantly impressed by the loving and thoughtful treatment she was given during her 12 year stay, as well as the consideration given to myself and my family.

I think it’s pretty reasonably priced. Everyone is very nice. I feel my mother is well taken. I have eaten there several times and the food is very good. There are outside areas for residents to use. There is enough parking. My mother says that she’d like to be home, but if she had to be some place, this would be a good place to be.

This is my experience with Topanga Park. They have new owners which I haven’t had much experience with yet. Parking is very tough – It’s street parking. They have a beautiful patio and court yard, with a swimming pool for therapy. They have rose gardens. It is pet friendly. They are outstanding from top to bottom. With all the difficulty we had with making this transition – they were outstanding, flexible, and family owned. I’d feel a 100% confident in having a parent live in this community.

My mother had broken her ankle back in March of this year. With surgery and a stay of a month at a nursing home, I needed a place to give her more time to heal. I got a hold of a place for Mom, they gave me several options in Brentwood and ended up picking Westmont Living of Brentwood. Needless to say I made the right choice. They had offered what is called a respit, where you stay to heal from surgery or just need a place for them to stay while you are on vacation. From the outset I had been impressed with the caring nature of the caregivers there. I never saw one person, not one who did not have a smile on there faces. Every single caregiver at this facility was happy asked how your day was going and was truly interested. All the residents looked engaged and happy. There are many activities that are offered and they really try and get everyone to join in. I was content and new Mom was in a safe and happy environment. Mom is home now but I will be bringing her back for visits. They do not offer the respit anymore and I'm truly sorry they don't, since I do travel a few times a year and would have loved for her to stay with them. When it is time for her to move from our home, she will be going there. Her words! That's if they have room.

Cathy, when you tell me my dad is having fun it makes me want to cry. I can't even imagine the life he has been living for the past 7 years and to now know he is free to find some enjoyment in life. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Hugs

We just placed our 98 year old mother in Sea View and are very happy with the facility, staff and her very nice apartment. Everyone has gone out of their way to welcome mom and help her adjust.

My husband Dr. H. Levin has resided at Topanga Park for about 2 1/2yrs. After looking at other options, Topanga Park was a perfect home for him. He is an Alzheimer's patient. The professionals and caregivers and all others on staff are always there to help. They are dedicated, compassionate and caring people. Residents can walk around inside and outside to the patio - no lock-down areas (as in other places). My husband is kept clean and showered and looked after always. The owner is there to make sure everything and everyone is doing well. I complement the cook, the food is good and there is homemade soup everyday. Food was always important to Herb - He may not talk, but he does still love to eat and enjoys the meals. I am pleased with Topanga Park and appreciate everything they do.
