My visit was very pleasant. I had lunch, met with staff and residents, and toured the residential options. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. This is on my short list for options to consider.

I went on a tour here and the staff was nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions. This was a nice, clean community. We were looking for a private room and all they had were semi-private rooms. So it just wasn't a good fit for my mom. I would recommend families tour as many places as they can before making a decision.

Overall, I'm enjoying living at Lakeshore Estates. There are a few things that I feel need improvement, but aside from those items, I think it's very nice here. The food here needs a lot of work. I feel that, even though they offer several options during mealtimes, everything is covered in sauce and just never seems very appetizing. The housekeeping staff was also working in the kitchen during the holidays, which caused the housekeeping duties to be [Removed], and it doesn't seem very sanitary to me. Aside from these things, the staff are wonderful, and really seem to care about our opinions, the residents are all nice, and there are a lot of activities going on. Overall, I really do enjoy living here.

This is a good facility with a wide range of care options - Independent, Assisted, and Memory care. I was particularly impressed with the activities offered for the residents, and I saw people engaged in those options during my visit. This is a very nice facility for the price.

Excellent facility, clean, bright, all the right things to keep residents and their families happy.

Initially, the location of Mirabella Really appealed to me. I also appreciate that they seem to have a variety in the meals available there, rather than as in an institutional environment where only one option is served at mealtimes. I also feel that the place seems clean. It's well maintained, and there isn't an odor about the community. I think that overall, the staff is attentive to my loved one. There have been times where I feel they could have been more efficient, but overall, I feel they do a good job. I would recommend Mirabella to others.

Location is perfect, clean, common areas are nicely decorated. Toured 1 available room, well lit,paint color was a little yellow. Appliances were dated but appeared okay. The one available room is upstairs, I would prefer downstairs. It had a homey feel and was not so upscale that my parents would feel out of place. I really liked that the assisted living and memory care were connected to independent living.[Removed] was very helpful and not pushy. This facility is overpriced for the shape of the facilities. It definitely needs to be updated.

I am very pleased with this facility thus far. They staff is very accommodating and they treat my Mother-In-Law very nicely. For activities the offer things like church services, bingo, card games, and painting lessons. The facility itself is well decorated and they even decorate the hallways. They have a large community room and a large room to watch TV in. I would definitely recommend this facility to other families.

While looking at numerous places for my loved one, this one was very interesting. The facility itself is beautiful and little pricey. The lady that was assisting us was very helpful and very frank. While speaking with her about the certain needs that my loved one needed she assessed the level that my loved one was in. She would say something like “other places would tell you that she is a level 1 but I’m telling you that she is a level 3”. Just seemed very straight forward.

Thought University place was a very nice independent living place. Not specifically set up as assisted living but individual can have help come in during the day. Liked the area as it was closer to family. Still I am not ready at this point to make a major change. This was a”looking” visit!

While looking for a place for my loved one, this was the only place that had an atmosphere that wasn’t so depressing compared to other locations that I have toured. Most facilities when you first walk in it just feel depressing. You mostly see people in the wheelchairs or their just in their rooms all the time. Here it’s the complete opposite. There’s plenty of room for tenants to walk around, there a mini theatre and café in the main lobby area, there’s bright lights hanging, and there’s a sitting area with a fire place. It really accommodates patients that are more mobile. This was nicer for me too because I have that peace of mind knowing that my loved one is in a good atmosphere such as this. One feedback I would say that could use improvement is there staff and activities offered. Not only here, but it seems that management seems to only staff up to the minimum. I would say that they could get more help to cater to the needs of everyone that living here. Also there activities; they offer things just like any other place like bingo and painting. However, with my loved ones condition he is unable to play bingo because he has a hard time understanding numbers now. I feel like they should have more activities that would benefit to the patients’ condition. All in all, the staff there does do a good job and I recommend this location to other families with a similar situation.

My wife is in this community and it is nice. The caregivers are kind. They try to engage her to do daily activities. We take walks to the assisted living side and she'll have lots of room to walk. The food is good and filling. It is clean but they could do better. Also there is a trash can in the dining room that never has a liner in it.

This facility and location was convenient all around. It is close to my relatives and the room that my loved ones will be in is more accommodating. One of the main reasons that this facility is more ideal is because they have a larger memory care unit compared to others. Those people who need assistance with memory care can be more well catered opposed to other locations. There are three halls where the rooms are larger and there is more area to walk around and do things.

As I was touring a place for my relative, the buildings at the facility seemed rather small compared to where I actually placed my loved one. The ground is pretty and when I visited they had bingo going on so I know they have activities offered for the residents. There is a hair salon on site as well as a store to pick up any necessities that you may need in case you ran out of something.

My father is here currently and it’s been a bit of an adjustment. I was a little bit worried about safety but they’ve since corrected a few of the issues that I was worried about. The doors are very secure and even the visitors can’t get in or out without being let in or out. I like the staff, but some of them don’t seem like they’ve been trained very well. There are sometimes things going on where it feels like they aren’t paying very close attention to the residents and I think some of the staff really needs to be more attentive. The facility is very clean, though. There’s a lady that will come and clean the rooms and she works five days a week and laundry is done once a week. My dad’s room is always clean. They have morning gatherings where they try to get everyone involved and out and about. There’s an activities director that’s always trying to make things happen. They have an art studio, they’ll sit out on the patio and listen to the music from their era, there’s a really nice outdoor area, and they even just got a chicken coop with little chicks. They created a calendar for monthly activities and the director just started that. The dining and living area is spacious and seems to flow together, which I like. Overall, this facility is very nice and I would recommend it.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Just a couple of things I don't like. One is that they don't make my bed daily and they don't do my laundry. I enjoy the daily activities such as bingo, music and singers come, and we play bean bag baseball or basketball. The food isn't that great you have option #1 or #2 or sandwiches but there is fresh fruit all day long if I wanted a snack. I would recommend this community.

This facility has really surprised me and it's more than I expected. There have been a few issues but I am working with the administration to fix these things. I do feel as if the nursing staff is a little on the weaker side. I did have to higher a nurse to be with my parents for half of the day to assist my Father. Other than that, the staff is above average and I am very pleased. I am very impressed with the attitude of all of the staff members. This place is more than just words, they actually practice what they preach. I would recommend this facility. It's one of the better places that I have looked at.

I went on a tour her to place my mother. The staff was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. It was clean and a nice place but just didn't feel like a home. It just wasn't a good fit for her.

My mom is here currently and has been for about 6 weeks, roughly, and so far the experience has been good. I really don’t have much to complain about. The staff is easy to communicate with and seem to be knowledgeable about what they do. The food is good and my mom seems to like it. They keep the facility pretty clean and come about once a week, I think, to clean my mother’s room and help her with her laundry. I’ve walked in here several times and never smelled anything other than it being clean. I know they have some exercise classes and a few other activities that they provide, like cards, but not sure on what all they offer. Between my own life and helping my mom with hers, they’ve been really great at helping us with the transition. I was scheduled to go on a tour at another facility but once I saw this community, I didn’t feel the need to go anywhere else. I was so satisfied and impressed with how they talked to and treated me and my mother during the tour. The facility is small and cozy feeling. You walk in the front door and there’s an entertainment room on the right side with the cafeteria on the left side and it just all felt like home.

I think this is the nicest facility in Cleburne. My parents are close to where I live, it’s very nice, and I can’t think of any better facility here. I had to move my parents from independent to assisted living and this is one of the only facilities in Cleburne that offers that level of help. My parents have a 2 bedroom place with a patio that you can sit out on and an enclosed courtyard. The facility is very nice and landscaped very nicely, and it doesn’t feel crowded. It is expensive and I expect a lot from them for not only what’s being paid but for the high level of care that my parents are in need of. There were a few problems that we were experiencing and they are now being taken care of through staff changes. The executive director is amazing and came from a background in memory care and you can tell that she’s trying to find the right staff and get the right people so they can provide the right quality of care. The food is good from what I’ve tried and my parents like it for the most part. Housekeeping seems to do a good job at keeping everything clean. They empty the trash whenever they see it needs to be done, not just at specific times. They offer a lot of different activities like morning exercise classes, fellowship, different walkabouts, there’s a gardening club, and right across the street from the entrance there’s a big field that has goats and 2 donkeys that they call “the farm”, so it’s fun. The other residents seem to be pretty friendly and easy to get along with and my mom has made some good friends. Overall, my parents are happy here and I would recommend Heartis to other folks to check them out and give them a shot.
