I've lived here, it will be 2 years in Oct. We do need a new bus. Ours has been in the shop this past year more times than I can count. [name removed] keeps telling us we are in the running for a new one. We feel we moved in to have a rented one, and no driver. Last time I had to use Uber to get to my Doctor. This is important to all of us. There are people here who need to know if its a good bus. Ours has broken down with people on it.

Very nice accommodations. Very good food and food service. Staff is outstanding.

I like the Fox Run community but I fell the food service is below par in both preparation and presentation. Otherwise the community is great - I like my apartment, the entertainment, and friendliness of the residents.

Enjoy living here. The people are great. Lots of activities only complaint is the food.

I chose Fox Run because is it a beautiful campus and the management is very good. When I moved here, they had 24/7 managers on campus which was a big plus for me. I do not like the call button we wear. The food however, has gotten worse and they need to have a better chef. The service is good.

It's a great community. People and staff are friendly and helpful. I love that I can get doctor's visits at home and my prescriptions delivered, makes my life less complicated.

Toured this facility [date removed]. Might be our first choice. No vacancies currently. Will talk with [name removed] about getting on waiting list.

This facility was the furthest from our home. The Assisted Living Wing was one floor and the perfect amount of residents, not to big. The actual rooms looked a bit dated. The studios were way to small. The residents, employees were friendly and engaged. It was a good fit for our mother in that regards. But, lacked the security tracking of the resident that I would like and the price was a bit high comparing apples to apples (which is hard to do in the world of ALFs).

[Name removed] did my tour, she was great. I was able to get information and also she was interested in knowing about my mother in law. I felt as if she really cared that it would be a right fit. The facility was clean. Dining area was okay. I liked that they sit the residents according to level of function. I would have liked separate area for those that need to be fed. The activity room seemed nice. The rooms were clean, wish they didn't share bathroom. Over all I liked it. [Name removed] also made follow up phone call and answered my questions.

We loved Heartis but with the kind of 24/7 care in which our loved one would need, we would be required to hire a home health care agency for any kind of emergency care or RN specialized care. Everything is provided at Where she is now. Our loved one was very sick the morning Heartis had scheduled to assess her. We had to cancel & all our concern & time was devoted to our loved one. If we could have placed our loved one with Heartis I do believe they would have given her good care. They were having to remediate water from the memory care area & were not able to see a room in that area. Since we had previously viewed this location a few years earlier we had seen a room but found out she did not meet their criteria to enter. Their criteria has changed per [name removed] since we had visited previously. We did not get to see any interaction with care providers & residence so we would have wanted to go back & visit again before we made our final decision. With having to hire outside help to care for Our loved one & also providing all supplies, furniture, linens, bed, tv, depends, wipes, toiletries she would need & shopping time on top of visits we decided it would end up being better to let her stay where she was.

By far the most expensive place and, like BDT, all residents pay the same cost. Only 14 residents so I assume they all receive a great deal of attention. The rooms are very large and the semi-privates offer some privacy, as with OHT. There were several residents in the common area but all of the residents seemed in an advanced state of dementia. If so, Mom would have no one with whom to interact. The director, who was very nice, said the problem was that I had come at nap time. However, I purposefully scheduled all of my tours at exactly the same time of day and that was not the case at OHT. I like AT and would consider it, if only for the room size and the low staff-to-resident ratio, if Mom's dementia were further advanced.

No smoking at all on campus Lovely place though.

A very nice facility with a lot to offer. Very close to my home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rates are competitive with the other facilities in the area. It is also a strong contender for the placement of my MOM.
