VISITED AND A 1 BEDROOM APT ON THE FIRST FLOOR OBTAINED AND WILL BE MOVING MOTHER IN ON TUESDAY. THEY HAVE A NURSE AVAILABLE EVERYDAY FROM 7A TO 7P.

Oh my gosh, this has been a sign of God's goodness, I couldn't be happier with the home, it's wonderful. This is a hard thing for anyone, it was more my decision to move my father here so I kind of discount his opinion on it, he wants his independence, but I know it's wonderful. I'm in touch with the home and with him and they have all kinds of creative activities. They take input and they've taken him to restaurants he's specfically requested. I don't know how it is in other parts of the country but in this area it's so competitive it was like trying to buy a car and going to a car dealership. Places were calling me all the time and it was so easy finding one.

It was simply beautiful but it was just a little too expensive for her income. The people were nice - they all get 10s!

We have been very pleased and grateful for them. From what I've seen - I'm in another state so I've only been there briefly visiting my mom - they have music activities, cards, dominioes and of course they take them places. Those are the only ones I've witnessed but I'm sure they have more. My mom likes it. She's happy with it. She hasn't said anything negative. All her feedback has been positive.

My brother and sister took my parents here and for whatever reason they didn't like it but we loved it. They would allow mother to smoke but it was one of those palces where it wasn't allowed after 8 becuase the courtyard was locked and she couldn't go outside. I also didn't like the apartment very much, the one they said was available-and they probably have others that are different- was a 2 bedroom which would have been nice except the living area was smaller, I think it was made for 2 residents that weren't married. They had a lot more to offer as far as physical therapy and having someone come in to do it, it was bigger and seemed better run. The dining room looked nicer, they had more residents so there was probably more going on, more entertainment in the evenings.

We're fine, I've got a real nice apartment, in fact I've got 6 windows in here. The people seem pretty good, there's a couple that I stay away from but I found two fellahs that I used to work with 50 years ago and they're here so that helped a little bit with getting me on the right track. The food's very good, it's not the same thing day in, day out. They've got this wifi bit and then of course they've got bingo, gotta have bingo. I'm very happy here.

It was a wonderful experience. Leland was so helpful and informative. Royal Estates seem like a great place. The personal was friendly and helpful.

I can only say that they've got it right. We've very very happy. It's a very good environment. The activities are just non stop! They have happy hour every Friday and they have Walmart day on Wednesdays - all kind of things. The place is run by the residents. They have committees for everything, to decide the menu and the trips. It's great!

Things have been going well, my mom is pleased with it and she gets housekeeping weekly. They've been good; I don't live in that area but when I've called they've been wonderful. For example, when my mom was sick she wasn't answering her phone so I called them and they went right up and checked on her and then called me to let me know she was okay. Every independent living and assisted living price is ridiculously expensive, this one is probably less expensive but everyone of my siblings and I chip in every month and help out with the cost. A nice thing is they have a huge Jewish community and a synagogue that she goes to; they also have movies every night and theres a lot more that she should be doing but whats shes doing now is a lot more than before.

We were pelased with them, he wasn't there very long at all. Laurie and her husband Wayne were very nice and very helpful, very accomodating. The facility seemed to be very nice and very clean. He was in the Alzheimers unit which was not very busy at all. I know they've been trying to have open houses to build up the business, I think I only saw one other person in there. It seemed to be reasonably priced; I think they even gave us a small discount because they were trying to promote the Alzheimer's unit, it wasn't bad. It was also the easiest place logistically to get him somewhere because he wouldn't have wanted to be in the car for an hour long car ride.

They're very good, they do a great job. From what I've seen they really have their residents well taken care of and everybody seems to be happy. They do clean the rooms, they do take care of their laundry and they're very receptive. I've called them a number of times with different issues, nothing serious, just to check up on mom, and they're very helpful. They take care of a lot of things; what you see there is a lot of peoplewho are in the first stages of dementia and you see the staff taking care of them as far as making sure they get down to their meals and their meals are very good too, its liek a restaurant. That's probably the one thing that concerns most people is as your parents get older and they're living by themselves you aren't sure that they're tkaing the time to make good meals and you don't have to worry about that here. They evaluate the residents regularly and they also have a good variety of activities.

i had looked at another place which was way too expensive and she couldn't afford it, so I made an appointment at copper lake and she wanted to go this time. she fell in love with it, she had cousins who she would go and visit who lived there and friends who live there now and she loved it. When i tell people my mom lives at copper lake everyone goes "oh so and so lives there and they just love it". Theres so many things that are included at copper lake that are included in the price of the rent that werent at the other place. i mena, she has to pay for her own phone by everything else here was pretty much included (the other palce charged her extra if she wanted to take her food to go) and when we go and have dinner with her its only like 7 dollars.

I have had a tour of the Brennity at Daphne. It is where I would like my mom to go, but I want her to make the final decision. My step-dad passed this past Wednesday, so our situation has changed drastically. I want what is best for her and right now, she is in a spiral not knowing what to do. We are still interested and I am still going to proceed with following up to try and get VA assistance as well.

I love it here. The price combined with everything else is what made them stand out for me. The staff is an absolute 5 out of 5 - they're great. About their care services - As far as I know, they have 2 nurses or nursing assistants that are on board 24 hours a day. I've already asked them about some prescriptions and they've been great. The activities are very well-attended and they seem to have a lot of them but I, personally, have not taken part yet because I'm more of a reader than an activity person.

We're enjoying it very much and would recommend it. They've been very friendly and helpful. We appreciate that they are a strict memory care facility rather than an assisted living facility with a memory care wing. My mother has dementia so this is what she needed. She's been there for a week so she hasn't had a chance to do many activities besides the daily exercising. She seems to be doing very well.

U.S. Memory Care in Colleyville is a brand new facility, specializing in Alzheimer's and Dementia care. After careful consideration, we decided on this location for my in-law's, who are both suffering from this disease at the same time. The staff-to-patient ratio is 1-to-5, which is the best that I found in all of my research. And, everyone there is very loving and caring to the residents. While it was hard to give up their home, the in-laws have settled in very well and really like it there. They have activities daily to keep them engaged. The food is good. The facility is very clean. And, you could not ask for nicer people. It has been a great transition and I am glad we found U.S. Memory Care.

Copper Lake is really a phenomenal community. They are really great. It is an older community but it is very well maintained. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The do have an out door pool as well. They really are great and I would have had no doubts about putting my loved one here. The only reason we ended up choosing a different community was strictly based on location. The other community was just a better location for our family.
