The Waterford has met all of the care needs for both of my parents. It is far beyond my highest expectations! My mother has mild to moderate Alzheimer's and she has been very well attended to...plus the social interaction has made her at least 10 years younger. I never thought this was possible. My father is recovering from a broken hip, and his needs are also being met. The entire staff befriended them in the first days of their stay, and it certainly shows in the smiles on my parents' faces! I never would have found the Waterford without the help of A Place for Mom...I did not think it was possible to find a place where they could live together again. Thank you so very much to all the folks who made this transition possible.

The chef is excellent and the housekeepers are really good, and the staff is wonderful. We are pretty happy with it. They do a pretty comprehensive job. We liked the location, they were very good about giving us full disclosure and it was all what we looking for, and what they said it would be.

My family and I moved my 96 year old great grandmother from her home in Abilene, TX to Heritage Oaks Memory Care Unit to be closer to our family. When my family and I toured Heritage Oaks and met with Becky Thomas, we were very impressed with the facility and staff. Our experience only improved from there. On move in day, the staff greeted us as though we were part of their family. They were so sweet to Mymee and loved her as though she was their own. When the time came to bring in Hospice, Heritage Oaks and Rose of Texas are the perfect team! If you are looking for a place in Conroe for Assisted Living and/or Memory Care, this is THE PLACE! Thank you Heritage Oaks for treating our family like your own! We love you!

It's a very nice place, the staff is very friendly. They have a big variety of activities. The food is fantastic, we want to go there ourselves. We liked it because it was friendly, nice and open, and very homey as opposed to being institutional feeling.

Couldn't ask for better!

The biggest complaint is with the food. The variety could be better, they seem to have a lot of chicken. She complains that it's burnt, and that they use too much salt. They also don't have hash browns for breakfast. The people are very very friendly and attentive, they have been very responsive to us.

It has worked out really good. We had lots of issues with getting the medication straightened out, in the beginning. Now that it's straightened out it's working well. They have changed some of the management. They have really good activities, and do a good job keeping them busy. The food is real good. The nurses are really caring, and show a lot of concern. They have been just as accommodating as they can be. I would recommend them to anyone. I'm real happy with it.

It's going really well! The kitchen staff is very caring, and about 90% of the meals are really, really good. They have pretty good variety, too. They use fresh ingredients. They were such a good price, we couldn't pass them up. There is a supervisor on call 24/7, They have an ambassador for the first 30 days to come and get you involved. They have some sort of credit system too, where you get credit for coming to activities. They have lots of different activities. It's a good fit and it's reasonably priced. The residents are allowed to have pets, it's pretty big, they don't mind if you put up a bird feeder outside. They are willing to accommodate people to help make them feel more at home. My only complaint is that there are a lot of trees in the parking lot and you get a lot of debris on the car, if they took them down they would lose the nice view though.

It's been a very good experience. They are very clean and very friendly. I feel like it's a very good value. It's been great. So far he is very happy. The food is fabulous. We chose them because it's very, very attractive and the residents are very friendly. It was the right price for all that was available. I cannot say enough good things about them.

We have visited a few different times and have been pleased every time. Even though we liked the facility and the staff from the beginning, in our recent visits, we have been even more impressed. We have seen volunteers bring in therapy dogs, groups of people come and go from outings, happy hour socials and other activities. My mother says she loves the environment and I can definately see why!

I’d give them fives on everything. They’ve been very good. My loved one has been there a month and half and everything has just been very good. She loves the poached eggs. The food is good. It’s balanced and good sized portions. We haven’t had any trouble with the laundry. There are outside areas. The other residents we’ve visited choose to be there or they just really like it. They have parties there.

While caring for my Mom at her home for many years it became clear to me that she needed and deserved more out of life. Our family did research and found Pinecrest Place to be a perfect fit with it's competent, compassionate and friendly staff. My Mom now calls Pinecrest Place her home and even told me the other day that "I'm the happiest I've ever been". Our family was shocked and pleasantly surprised how easy this transition was for her being that she is not a social person at all in the past and now joins in for all activities offered. As a healthcare professional for over 30 years I am very satisfied with the care she receives and the convenience of having the Medical staff from a local Doctors office visit every two weeks for any unforeseen health issues. My Mom is immaculately groomed, well fed and really enjoys all her new friends. I would highly recommend Pinecrest Place for any family looking for a safe, clean and friendly new environment for their loved one.

It’s just a wonderful place. I think it’s very clean. The staff is very friendly. We’re very glad we found a good place. The activities are okay and we don’t have any complaints about the laundry service or the parking.

USMC has gone above and beyond in accommodating my parent's needs! One of my parents does not have Alzheimer's (but has other significant health issues) and was apprehensive about moving there at first but now comments, "I feel like I'm living in a resort!" My Alzheimer's parent has resided in two other "Alzheimer's" facilities, neither of which compares in any way to USMC. In fact, during both of those stays physical health declined significantly, and severe depression was very evident. Since the stay at USMC, there is a significant improvement in health for both parents, and little or no sign of depression. USMC has really worked with my family to be sure my parents are NOT over-medicated, and also to be sure that the medication they are taking is appropriate for them. I GREATLY appreciate that! It has been particularly evident to me that the entire staff, care-givers, nurses, administration, maintenance folks, activity directors, receptionists are ALL trained to work with Alzheimer's patients AND they all really seem to LOVE what they do. I believe they really and truly DO care about my parents. I haven't been able to "come up for air" for so long and USMC has helped me feel like I can get my own life back again! I also really appreciate that the owners and managers WANT to hear from us family members of their residents. They welcome questions, suggestions, and even criticism as they strive to continually make things better for everyone. Their facility is beautiful, clean, very secure and truly a place I'd be happy to live myself. I love talking to other family members. I have felt welcomed by so many of them as well as the staff at USMC. It is obvious to me that USMC knows what they are doing in regards not only for their residents, but also for us family members.

So you need a ride? Well you've come to the right place. Pinecrest Transportation service is as good as it gets! The coordinator is Sharon Walker, who is extremely competent, caring, and as accommodating as she can possibly be. Her computer skills keep the operation running smoothly. There are four cars, a bus, and nine drivers that will take you ANYWHERE you want to go in Pinellas County. They are open for our convenience, Mon-Fri from 8:00-3:30. All you have to do is provide them with a 48-hour notice. Emergencies - if you have not given Sharon a 48 hour notice and an emergency arises, she will do everything she can if at all possible. Saturday - if you need a ride to Temple, they will accommodate you. Sunday - they will drive you to any one of twelve churches in the area. Pinecrest has special events during the course of a calendar year; Ball Games, Dinner Shows, Restaurants, etc. If you wish to attend any of these special events, the transportation department is at your service. They also run the bus 4 times a week to Publix and other local businesses in the area such as the Library, Walmart, etc. Last but not least, lets not forget about the nine wonderful drivers that actually deliver you to your desired destination. As a resident for 3 and a-half years, I have had the pleasure of driving with all of them at one time or another. They are careful, considerate, and caring to all our senior citizens. My loved one was unfortunately only here for a short time before having to leave due to increasing care needs. But they did a wonderful job while he was there. The staff were very friendly, and happy to accommodate him while they were able.

This is our #1 choice! The facility is very nice, clean. The staff members are compassionate, experienced, and nice. I was very impressed with Hertiage Oaks. Becky, the Executive Director, is wonderful! She went above and beyond to assure us that my great grandmother would be taken care of! Thank you!
