It’s just a wonderful place. I think it’s very clean. The staff is very friendly. We’re very glad we found a good place. The activities are okay and we don’t have any complaints about the laundry service or the parking.

USMC has gone above and beyond in accommodating my parent's needs! One of my parents does not have Alzheimer's (but has other significant health issues) and was apprehensive about moving there at first but now comments, "I feel like I'm living in a resort!" My Alzheimer's parent has resided in two other "Alzheimer's" facilities, neither of which compares in any way to USMC. In fact, during both of those stays physical health declined significantly, and severe depression was very evident. Since the stay at USMC, there is a significant improvement in health for both parents, and little or no sign of depression. USMC has really worked with my family to be sure my parents are NOT over-medicated, and also to be sure that the medication they are taking is appropriate for them. I GREATLY appreciate that! It has been particularly evident to me that the entire staff, care-givers, nurses, administration, maintenance folks, activity directors, receptionists are ALL trained to work with Alzheimer's patients AND they all really seem to LOVE what they do. I believe they really and truly DO care about my parents. I haven't been able to "come up for air" for so long and USMC has helped me feel like I can get my own life back again! I also really appreciate that the owners and managers WANT to hear from us family members of their residents. They welcome questions, suggestions, and even criticism as they strive to continually make things better for everyone. Their facility is beautiful, clean, very secure and truly a place I'd be happy to live myself. I love talking to other family members. I have felt welcomed by so many of them as well as the staff at USMC. It is obvious to me that USMC knows what they are doing in regards not only for their residents, but also for us family members.

So you need a ride? Well you've come to the right place. Pinecrest Transportation service is as good as it gets! The coordinator is Sharon Walker, who is extremely competent, caring, and as accommodating as she can possibly be. Her computer skills keep the operation running smoothly. There are four cars, a bus, and nine drivers that will take you ANYWHERE you want to go in Pinellas County. They are open for our convenience, Mon-Fri from 8:00-3:30. All you have to do is provide them with a 48-hour notice. Emergencies - if you have not given Sharon a 48 hour notice and an emergency arises, she will do everything she can if at all possible. Saturday - if you need a ride to Temple, they will accommodate you. Sunday - they will drive you to any one of twelve churches in the area. Pinecrest has special events during the course of a calendar year; Ball Games, Dinner Shows, Restaurants, etc. If you wish to attend any of these special events, the transportation department is at your service. They also run the bus 4 times a week to Publix and other local businesses in the area such as the Library, Walmart, etc. Last but not least, lets not forget about the nine wonderful drivers that actually deliver you to your desired destination. As a resident for 3 and a-half years, I have had the pleasure of driving with all of them at one time or another. They are careful, considerate, and caring to all our senior citizens. My loved one was unfortunately only here for a short time before having to leave due to increasing care needs. But they did a wonderful job while he was there. The staff were very friendly, and happy to accommodate him while they were able.

This is our #1 choice! The facility is very nice, clean. The staff members are compassionate, experienced, and nice. I was very impressed with Hertiage Oaks. Becky, the Executive Director, is wonderful! She went above and beyond to assure us that my great grandmother would be taken care of! Thank you!

Mom is really happy there. They invited me for lunch and see what kind of meals they had. The food was good. It had flavor, good portion size. I looked at the menus. They have a nice variety - very nice dining experience – table cloths, napkins, serve each course like it’s a dining experience, not just feeding. I was impressed with the value. I thought it was going to be more expensive than it was. They have a bus and will take her anywhere she wants to go. I would like them to have a nurse to give shots on site. She goes to the movies, church services, and bingo. She’s making friends. It’s a very nice community. The people are very friendly. They care about what they’re doing. They offer a variety of room sizes

They really do a great job here! The food is good, the activities are good, and the staff are all very friendly! The facility itself is always clean and well kept, the only real complaint I have is that they could use another elevator, it can get backed up during busy times.

I have had the opportunity to be onsite many times and have always found the community clean and the staff friendly. I have witnessed the care given their guests and it appears to be superb. Thank you for providing such an atmosphere for our memory challenged.

They're doing an excellent job here. I'd give them top marks across the board. They've been very good about staying in communication with us, which we appreciate as we are located out of state. The quality of everything is just good overall, and my loved one seems quite happy here.

We have already had a tour but want to come by soon to bring deposit and take mesurments to see how much furniture we need to buy. Thanks...Joyce

My loved one hasn't been here long yet, but so far we've been completely satisfied with the service that they provide, I'd give them 5s across the board.It's a nice looking place, the staff are friendly, and the care they provide seems very good.

I recently toured this new community and found it to be an incredibly warm experience. The person we talked with, Shelley, demonstrates sincere passion whether interacting with families, patients or visitors. I love the "outside/inside" when you first walk in. The first thing that comes to mind is "Wow!"

They've been doing a great job here so far, I'd rate them a 5 out of 5. The facility itself is nice, the staff are friendly, and we were impressed by the services that they provide.

I think this place is very good and we are happy with our choice! I really have no complaints - I think it is just great! I chose them mainly because it was so nice! The staff are very professional and the place was extremely clean and it smells good. We tried the food and it was excellent. Overall, we are very pleased!

When we decided to move, my husband and I visited eight different communities, including Pinecrest Place, where my father lived about 20 years ago. We were impressed with the building and the room sizes - -but more importantly, with the cheerful atmosphere throughout the public rooms. Thanks to the Marketing Staff, moving in was a breeze. There is a wide range of physical, mental, and recreational activities, including parties and special celebrations, with plenty of opportunities to meet fellow residents. The staff is attentive and never hesitate to lend a helping hand. Irma

We are relatively new here at Pinecrest Place starting in February 2013. After living in 12 homes during our nearly 70 years of marriage we are still adjusting to a new way of life. We had decided early that we would spend our declining years in our home. About 4 years ago, my wife had a major stroke and a year later I also had a stroke. We have both survived the strokes but felt the necessity of planning for our future. We both realized that we had to do advance planning to avoid someone else making those final decisions for us. We did not want to ever burden family making those difficult decisions. We took our time looking for the right place to make our future home. We looked at many places in St.Petersburg and Tampa and finally concluded that Pinecrest offered all of our requirements. The staff, starting with the Executive Director, are an amazing group of people catering to the needs and desires of people.

Overall they do a great job here, I'd give them high marks across the board. It's a nice looking, clean place, and the staff seem very friendly and caring. The meal service is also very good. The food is well presented, and you get many many choices.
