My mom has been at Barrington for a year now. She is always clean, her hair is done, her room is clean, her meals r delicious, she gets her medications on time and she's involved in activities. Her overall health has actually improved and she's lost weight, which has helped with her diabetes. The staff truly care about the people they serve. They work hard to keep the residents involved with holidays, lots of activities, outings in the community. This is one of the BEST places I've ever seen. There's times when we go to see my mom and she would rather be involved with her friends than to go get ice cream with us lol. The best part about Barrington is the residents can get outside in the courtyard but can't get out and get hurt or lost. That's a huge relief for family members who have loved ones who wander. I can't say enough good things about Barrington. To me Barrington is like having a little piece of heaven right here on earth for people who struggle with this cruel disease. I will forever be grateful for how Barrington has loved my mom, treated her with respect and gone the extra mile when shes had bad days. They have also treated us with respect and dignity while we watch our dear sweet mom go on this difficult road of dementia.

Everyone we encountered at Greenfield Estates was caring and kind. No matter what time of day we arrived, we could tell my mother was well cared for. Staff encouraged her to participate in activities and would sit and talk with her or hold her hand when she felt scared. Communication with our family was excellent, both in person and long distance via email (including photos of my mom) and phone calls. We wish we had moved her to Greenfield Estates sooner.

My mom has been at Barrington for almost a year. They are kind, caring, compassionate, loving, concerned and honestly care about their residents. My mom is always clean, her room is clean and she's always involved in activities. Dementia is a cruel disease and its heart wrenching for families. I consider Barrington to be a piece of Heaven on Earth for those suffering from this disease. Believe me when I say that Barrington is the place to be.

Visited a friend at Lakeview Terrace last week, it was a charming renovated old Marie Chandler's restaurant. Beautiful view of the lake and across the street from a great walking park. Staff were friendly, smiling and so courteous. Had a great time - if your looking for a place for loved ones - I would check it out.

Well good things come to an end, both my parents spent 3+ years here. The facility care is amazing and wonderful! My Dad passed away on [date removed] this year 2019. His last days were so well taken care of, look no further for a facility for your loved one! I will be happy to personally talk with anyone concerning this Assisted living facility. [Name removed]

A wonderful and caring facility! Every caregiver is well trained and totally invested in the health and well-being of the residents. I would recommend this facility to any family in need of guidance through the memory care “maze”.

I have been very pleased with the level of care afforded my aunt at Greenfield Estates. I love the staff and feel they are sincerely interested in my aunts care. My only regret is that my aunts finances are finite and I will have to move her to a facility that accepts Medicaid within the year. I also appreciate A Place For Mom and all the information and support they gave me during a difficult time.

Very spacious and built extremely well for dementia and Alzheimers guests. This place is what i would call a world class home for dementia guests.

Very nice community. [Name removed] does very well here. I do feel that [name removed] is at home here. I do like the help and the staff all are very pleasant. The food, meals are well adjusted for the patients.

My Mother has lived in the Waverly Place since March, she loves it! They take really good care of her. She is thriving now, before she was very depressed and not happy. I am so happy with everything. What a relief it's been. I highly recommend Waverly Place.

I spent the fourth of July with my mom at Lakeview Terrace. We had a great time singing and enjoying the entertainment (Mama's Wranglers) followed by a wonderful BBQ lunch. My mom is on the memory unit there and, at first, did not want to attend the celebration. Once there she perked right up and was singing along with the patriotic tunes they performed. She remembered all the words that even I had forgotten! It is wonderful to see her having so much fun! It touches my heart. The staff and caregivers at Lakeview Terrace do a superb job!

Great facility! My family had to place my Father in a facility after he left our home alone. The staff was kind and understanding of his behaviors. They did not “sugarcoat“ disease they gave great education. They are a true leader in the Alzheimer’s industry.

Love this place. Very high possibility that I will move her there.

I recently found the need to place my mother in assisted living. Lakeview Terrace is wonderful, everyone was kind, patient, introducing themselves to my mother and asking to help. The management always had time for us, answering our many questions and filling our every request. I highly recommend Lakeview Terrace in Boulder City.

I just watched an activity of making flower tipped pens & other cute uses. Fabulous.

I loved this facility. From the minute, you walk in the door you are greeted by a beautiful lobby, bright, natural light and soft music. It was cheerful and and welcoming. The backyard was very pretty. Little to no traffic and no outside noise. [name removed], the sale counselor was wonderful. She wasn't pushy and didn't keep me there for 2 + hours trying to 'sell' me. I was impressed with the amenities, the rooms, the activities. This location is at the top of the list for my parent.

One can only imagine the pain staking task to find a new home for your family that first of all does not want to leave their home. So finding the right spot was very important to us as our Mother and Sister lived in our house for 31 years. We knew they had to be someplace they would be happy. There like little apartments with all of their home furnishings around them. But let me be the first one to tell you we couldn’t be happier we found the Parsons House. Beautiful home like setting. Parsons house has all levels of care. They will watch and take care of your loved ones very closely. As well as a staff whom has become their surrogate family and genuinely cares about both of their well beings giving us the family tremendous peace of mind. We did hang on for a little while but when we saw how things were running smoothly and the caretakers were becoming like family to them we backed off. It was a very difficult decision to leave your beloved family members that you have cared for soo long over to someone else’s hands but when we saw the excellent personal care they were getting it got easy. My sister loves the activities [name removed] the director plans all kinds of different things for the residents to do. Takes them out on outings. Goes to the Casino and Botanical Gardens. As well as lunch outings. [name removed]the Director is awesome and will take care of all of your needs. She makes the residents feel like family. And for the holidays The Parsons House is decorated better than my house as well as the other holidays for the year. My mom goes to exercise and loves the food. (Unbelievable because she was a great Polish cook). [name removed] overseas the medical and will address and inform you of any issues she see brewing. Her staff will also take note of the resident’s behavior and wellbeing and keep us informed. So if this can be of any help to future family members that are making the difficult decision on where to put their family members please offer this letter to them or give them my number for a personal referral.
