4 for all. Some room for improvement. Food allowance is too small. Not possible to eat more than one meal a day to stay within the 550 points given for meals ... so monthly rent goes up.

High turnover in worker staff makes it difficult to communicate needs or desires. I feel very comfortable being here. However, I do recommend this community to other families.

We chose Revel Lacey because I thought it seemed less institutional and it was more upbeat. The apartment sizes here are small for what you pay. I think they do need to have assigned parking for residents with cars because they need to park close to the door and it is just an open parking lot right now. They did have some flooding issues and have unfinished repairs inside facility. Overall, I would recommend.

Positive- the staff is kind and the place is clean and beautiful. The property is gated and feels safe . Negative- The cost is VERY high and you are sold on the idea of a "restaurant" that never closes. That is academic lie. It is only open from 7am to 7pm AND it shuts down between 3:30 and 4:15pm everyday to turnover for dinner. Instead of all meals being included, you are limited to a 550 point system which acts like cash towards your meals and your meals are very expensive. They tell you that the parking is free. And technically there are free spaces, but they are very few.So if you want a parking place, it's an additional hundred dollars.

It's a little early to judge but I do have concerns about employee turnover and a 10% increase in the monthly charge over last year when I first looked at the facility. I have heard from some residents that they think the price is too high and based on real estate values in the marketplace rather than a Fair rental rate. I'll be watching for that.

There has been a lot of staff turnover. Sadly, since it is new & not full, they aren't living up to the promises of events. My loved one was told she could use excess points for hair/nail on site, but the "system" won't allow for it. Apparently a lot more folks are 'assisted' than 'independent', which also affects the social aspect. My aunt doesn't have a smart phone, but all events are sign up electronically. Things like this have not made her happy.

Revel does not provide all of the services promised with the lease. Housekeeping services are now poor and housekeeping staff can be unprofessional. Consider very carefully before moving in if you are relying on Revel to provide all of the services they advertise and are promised with the lease.

Part of it was me. I found living in a place like Revel was stressful for me. I now live near my daughter in my own condo and am well taken care of. Revel was very costly and the increase every year was more than I wanted. Not perfect but is a nice place other than the location.

I am saying 3 on some of these because although the staff is very friendly and my Mom had met some great people there has been some issues: -Reduced the number of included Lyft rides with less than 60 days notice -Ongoing issues with not having hot water in the apartments -Inconsistencies with the shuttle van being available for medical appointments

It is known that if you want to leave your apartment before your lease is up one has to give the remainder of the lease. I think that it is totally an unreasonable portrait of a withdrawal from a contract. There is clause that if you are moving to an assisted living then one can move without paying anything to cover the rest of the lease. I can understand a reasonable amount. But, not the entire thing. It does make it a hardship especially for seniors.

Overall, Revel Folsom is leaps and bounds above all the others. First off, it's new! And the décor is beautiful, not old and tired! The outside and inside public spaces look like a mountain resort. Beauty is important for your mind and soul! The food is excellent, like a top restaurant. My mom raves about the food and she was quite the foodie when she was younger. The apartments are very nice. Every one of them has a nice sized balcony, many looking out to groves of Oak trees. The only downside to the apartments are that the cabinets are very high so they're difficult for my mom to reach things. Amenities include: a nail salon, gym, indoor pool, pool table, art room, movie theater, card room, raised bed garden, beautiful plantings, outdoor fountain, bocce ball, barbecue, bar with two big tvs, and many cozy nooks to sit down and read or converse with friends. Plus, lots of extracurricular adventures to local restaurants and places of interest. My mom absolutely loves it there! And I love going over and visiting because the vibe is so upbeat and lively. The residents seem very happy there. Staff is very friendly and they make an attempt to get to know the family. They all seem happy at their jobs which I think is very important too. They're all very nice, kind, and caring people from diverse backgrounds (thank goodness). I highly recommend Revel Folsom!

Revel Spokane was nice, but the activities they offered in their schedule were always very often canceled due to lack of participation. Although we were told we could get out of the contract before 1 year, we had to jump through rings of fire to get them to end her lease.

The management and concept seems to evolve too quickly and not officially. Too many changes, for the money, I don’t know if I am in a resort, prison, spendy apt. or???? It’s some of each, but not enough if any one.

Revel Palm Desert the charm of an empty resort. The meal plans were WAY out of line. The tour wasn't bad at all. The staff were very nice. The exterior was a bad color choice oddly enough while virtually everything thing else was corporate and not welcoming. Revel's meal plan was terrible given its pricing policy and I wouldn't look much beyond that. I've visited literally dozens of these places because of my own families situation and can say Revel would barely make it into the elite category. It was not for us.

I toured at Province Springs for myself, and I did like that it is a new place. However, the location is not convenient for me, and I really wanted to be closer to where my nieces are. Because of this, I opted for a more convenient community.

HAPPY NOT TO LIVE HERE ANYMORE. The Executive Director is a good man who I respect. The Activities Director is also SUPER! As for the restaurant, it is TERRIBLE. THE SO CALLED MANAGER of the restaurant is a TOTAL [profanity removed] after calling me a JERK! I paid for his salary which he does NOT deserve. Food quality is less than mediocre and he is unwilling to accept people's requests or needs. For this reason, along with the cliques, and handicap people, who receive no support or assistance unless one brings in outside help and care. Maintenance needs proper supervision in maintaining the property which is a mess. Housekeeping is a joke with people leaving constantly. In conclusion, Revel McDowell Mountain needs a makeover which one does not see initially during the tour.
