I have lived here for 5 years and enjoyed every minute. There is a great mix of people here and it has been easy to make friends. There is always something to do from card games to fitness classes, book clubs and movie nights.

I've lived at Cactus Valley for over 3 years now. It is perfect for someone like me. There are 3 meals a day here (I don't cook), My apartment is cleaned once a week (I hate housework), and transportation is provided if I don't want to drive. The management and staff here are all friendly and helpful. The residents here are also wonderful neighbors. Who could ask for more?

I am an original charter member. I plan on living here for the rest of my life. I only hope I do not run out of money before that happens. The food is not the best. It is also not the worst. Every thing will never be perfect. I know our rent will be raised by the various things that happens here ie broken dishwasher, replaced TV in the lounge, replaced screen in the theater, plate dinners, replaced popcorn machine, replaced sliders on chairs in dining room and lounge. My last rent was raised 3%. I would like it to not go higher than 3% but I have no control over that. . All in all I think this is one of the better senior places to live. I an happy to be here. I appreciate the things they do for us. This includes the bus that takes us to appointments shopping, and places to visit. I appreciate the staff and the managers.

Palomino Gardens has been a great place for my husband and I to live in. The people are really friendly and the staff is super special. I love the fact that I don't have to cook or clean any longer and just spend my time going to the different activities and enjoying life!

I have been a resident here for 2 1/2 years. I have made many new friends here, as well as keeping friends from my previous neighborhood. With 24/7 concierge and good security, I feel safe. There are daily options for activities & 3 meals a day.... coupled with full kitchen in my apartment.

As a Resident at Capital Oaks I find that all of the staff members are friendly and knowegable and willing to help. The activities Director has designed many activeties (Aerobics, Duolingo, classes, videos, bridge, and Rummykub. They provide three meals a day and the "Chef's Pantry" has snacks available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I wasn't sure I would like it here but I have made many friends here at Capital Oaks. The Fitness Center is open seven day a week, twenty four hours a day. They also schedule off-site activities and bus for folks who do not have a car or those who no longer drive. The Apartments are large and all have a washer and dryer so you can do your own laundry. They also provide Housekeepers for light house keeping once a week. The Common Areas are large and well-maintained also.

My mother has lived in Stone Oak for 3 years. It was hard to get her to come to Columbus from her hometown but Stone Oak made the transition so much easier. She has found a community that supports her and made new friends

We love calling Julian Woods our home. The beautiful surroundings and wonderful staffer this place so inviting. Most importantly, the socialization and the friendships made make this a special place- as well, living close to family is a big plus!

I really like the the people at Riverstone, especially management. I like the food and we have a lot of really fun activities. They have a shuttle that takes me to a doctor appointment or shopping. It is clean here and my housekeeper comes every week. If I fall or have an emergency, I can press my pendant and whoever is on call will come to help me.

I really love our bus driver. I appreciate the concierge staff. I love other residents. This place has been a wonderful experience for the most part for me. Although no place is perfect they do there best to right any wrongs. I have met a lot of new people I would not have met had I not moved in.

Beautiful facility. Beautifully landscaped attractive inside and out. Wonderfully helpful staff very friendly residents, Many activities for everyone everyday average institutional food.

Red Hills is a great place for the newly retired. A place where one can be pampered with meals, housekeeping, washer and dryer in your apartment, and feel safe. I too like having Eastwood Pharmacy serving Red Hills and having a beautician and nail tech on site. Being part of a community of nice people who care including residents and staff is an added bonus. My husband and I have been at Red Hills for almost four years and we’re very happy here.

Oak Park is an Independent living facility with many planned activities for residents that are mobile. There are several perks including 3 meals a day, bus service, housekeeping, and an exercise room with modern equipment.

Oak Park is a friendly, active community. It has a good experienced staff.. The community is very active in arts and crafts, music, reading and going out into the community to eat or for touring. We have a choir that preformes for the residents and the community. A variety of group exercise programs are held Monday through Friday. There are Therapy programs held on the premises for individuals. We have bus service to doctors offices and to assist to stores for necessities. A wide variety of food is available at each meal, including a variety of choices for breakfast. Lunch and dinner have 2 entrees plus’s sides, and a well stocked salad bar and dessert tray. Special Holidays, plated dinners and celebrations with music keep us fun and active.

I enjoy the people and the opportunity to participate in activities but I would like it more if there were a greater variety of activities.

Great staff everywhere. Great people for the most part. Someone always there to Help someone else. Moves my Mother in. This is where we chose, and she didn’t want to be here without us, so we sold our house too and moved I. We all love it here.

They have the best value is any place around. One rent payment per month and NO nickel and dime payment. Very clean environment and most staff is friendly and attentive. The lifestyle coordinator is amazing.

I think the price is a little high. Apartments are very nice facilities and activities are very well planned and we have a wonderful staff and our coordinator is irreplaceable so passionate about her job and this place couldn't be any happier with her.... our managers are absolutely fantastic...The food???? ??? Some days good somedays not so good... raising the rent every year doesn't help as social security doesn't raise to help. Beautiful place but hard to make money stretch from Social Security had to rent my house out to help.

New chef is improving the food They have resource issues but are quick to fill the voids! The people are very helpful Chicken meals are overcooked instead of moist! They have difficulty with the house keeping staff (high turnover) but react quickly to fill openings.

It's a very nice facility. Everyone that works there are very friendly and helpful. I love the staff. Dad doesn't really take advantage of the activities, but the fact that they are there if he needs them is great. The only real problem we've had is that his ac has gone out multiple times over the last year. They always get him portable units very quickly but it has been a hassle.
