We have been very pleased with this community. Other than the few mechanical things that they need to fix and the high turn around in staff they are great. The food has been excellent. They treat you like you are on a cruise ship. There fine dining time is great. The facilities are marvelous. They treat you better than you should be treated. My wife is in heaven.

The staff is nice at this community. The food is fine. They offer a large variety of activities. The location was not a good fit for me. They kept the community clean and well maintained.

We had a good tour of Capital Oaks Retirement Resort. I did find it was a little to expensive for us. They offer a lot of great amenities. There is to much stuff going on than I think my aunt and uncle could enjoy.

We've been here now for a week and our initial beliefs have been borne out. The building itself is great, the food outstanding , and the residents are extra friendly. Can't sit down for a meal without someone joining us. Since were still an us a fairly high ratio of couples was an added plus in our decision. Would recommend Capital Oaks unconditionally.

My Mom recently moved into The Capital Oaks Retirement Resort. She absolutely loves it there. She is so pleased with everything, including the wonderful staff, the meals, and the options for activities!! We were so concerned about how Mom would adjust to her move and we truly could not be more pleased. It is so nice to see her so happy and excited!! Many thanks to Capital Oaks and their entire staff for making this a great experience for our Mom !

My Dad is one of the first residents. Spacious apartment homes, beautiful common areas and super friendly (and helpful) staff await you and your family at Capital Oaks. The dining room is amazing and the food is very good too. It's nice to have fruit, sandwiches and healthy snacks available 24/7/365 in case Dad runs long at an appointment or has the midnight munchies. We LOVE the medication adherence packaging of Dad's pills and monthly pharmacist check in provided by Hayes Barton Pharmacy! Pills are grouped into morning, noon, dinner and before bed "bubbles" that are easily punched out and taken. It really helps keep Dad on track switch his meds. The print out accompanying the packaging goes with him to all doctors visits to ensure all providers are in sync with what Dad is taking. Hayes Barton has a satellite branch on "Main Street" on the first floor of Capital Oaks - couldn't be any easier - and it's only $20 monthly for the packing - a tremendous value!

All the staff at Savannah Pines are great! Mom loves her new apartment and has made lots of friends in just one week. The food is wonderful and there are so many choices on the buffet. Everyone is making mom feel like this is home! A HUGE thank you to Greg and Angie for making our entire family feel welcome at Savannah Pines.

Great community, our experiences there have been wonderful so far. My parent chose a mid size apartment with no balcony. The apartment is very large and really seems like home because even though all meals are included, the apartment has a large kitchen. The kitchen has granite tops and nicer finishes than I expected. The maid service is working well. The food service is better too than I expected. The waiters do a good job as well. Lovely lovely place, with nice high-end touches, it does remind you of a cruise ship, which is fun. Hopefully service stays same. I would recommend without hesitation.

Have not lived here long enough for a true evaluation but the residents are friendly and have nothing negative to say about the place.

A Place for Mom was very helpful in advising us until we were ready to commit. Robinwood Retirement Resort is a beautiful, new senior community. The apartments are spacious, clean and very smartly decorated. They also provide many amenities. The people at Robinwood are more than helpful and gracious. We found no other place like it. You would never expect such quality in a senior living environment. Would certainly give Robinwood 5 stars!

I love it !! It's fantastic community. Of all three communities that i toured. This was the best. Love the decore love the management. Jon & Jodonna is the sweetiest people you ever want to meet. it has been fun here so far. I have meet some real nice people here. They all are very friendly. I find myshelf not wanting to leave this place even on thangs that i have go and get done outside of here. I'm hoping that eventually that i can settle in a studio apartment here. The large one bedroom that i'm in now is very nice and roomy. But it is a little bit more costly and I'm hopeing to downsize as soon as a cheaper apartment comes available. All in all this is a top notch facility top notch commuinty. I highly recomend it to any one that can aford it.

Overall i'd say it's a good value. The cost includes meals and weekly housekeeping of the room. The food is pretty good and the clean up has been fine. We've had no issues with the quality of the housekeeping. They have lots of activities. My dad doesn't get involved. He's just not that kind person but they have a monthly calender where everyday, almost every hour, has something planed, whether it's movies, bingo, exercise classes, some sort of educational program like history lessons or different type of talks. They have trips that they take as a group and bible study. So far so good. It was a transition for my dad but he's made good use of it and I think overall, he's pleased with it. It's just independent living. There is a third party that can provided some care but not medical care.

The food is not as good as it was when we first came. Our activities director is really top notch. She works really hard to make sure we all find something we like to do. She really encourages socializing and puts on a great happy hour every Friday. The housekeeping depends on who you get. Some are better than others. Maintenance is as prompt as they can be with 160 of us and 1 sometimes 2 of them. Our managers are great and go out of their way to make life good for us.

It's a beautiful place, visually. Especially the dining area. Stunning. The food, I'd give 4?? I didn't care for some of the hot meal options, so I would have the really nice soup and salad bar. You could also order a la cart burgers, grilled cheese, pizza, or get a sandwich from the Chef's Pantry. There are lots of things to do. Board games, Bingo, card games, puzzles, horse races, movies, working out in the fitness center, exercise classes, picking out books from the library, shooting a game of pool, karaoke, and even Happy Hour every Thursday. They would also have live music. The big band was my favorite. There's a small shop with snacks (candy, chips, cookies, etc), soda pop, and misc toiletries, pain killers, laundry soap, lotions, tp and tp??, etc. I volunteered there one of two days a week. There is also a salon. That is a very nice thing to have available 2 days a week. The hair dresser is great. There's so much to say about Quarry Ridge. I did love it there. My main reason for moving is the cost. It's an all inclusive 55+ independent living complex. The managers are great, and it's a very friendly atmosphere with lots of wonderful residents living there. I would like to go back, but it's just not affordable for me.

It is nice and relaxing and friendly. I would recommend.

Negatives: The 'Welcome' procedure for moving in was lacking. No one gave us specific 'this is what happens on move in day'. TP did not explain the auto withdrawal set up for monthly payment until it was actually due. My MIL says the food is rarely good. That being said, she is Italian and a very good cook, so her standards are very high. Positives: the place is very clean and well kept. My MIL says everyone is very friendly. She is receiving PT and says it's so nice.. the PT comes to her door twice a week and takes her to a PT room downstairs to do her exercises. They have a very nice movie theater, also used for shows of all sorts, with a 24 hour coffee machine and soft ice cream machine in the back which all the residents seem to love. My MIL enjoys the once a week housekeeping in her room although was not happy during the recent ice storm that she had to go 2 weeks without that service. They also change your bed sheets when they are there. Overall, after two months, a positive experience.

What I like the most about the community is the cleanliness and friendliness. I also like the fact it is month to month and not a long term contact!

Even though residents are allowed to age in place (no assisted living license), there are mostly residents that are truly independent. The social interaction between mobil and alert residents is very active, including quality bridge, poker and other card games. The Fitness Center has ellipticals and other equipment that fit my needs. Perhaps most important for me is 1. the place is very dog friendly and 2 it has never needed to be evacuated for hurricanes.

Excellent food, great staff and location. Depending on your view, it is possible to hear some minor road noise from I-75.
