Best place to be

All the staff here are very friendly, helpful, and highly knowledgeable about the facility. Having management live on-site and be able to relate to residents' experience is wonderful. I no longer need to worry about daily chores or fixing meals. There is weekly house keeping and 3 meals prepared daily. The salon onsite was able to fix my hair just as the picture I provided then I received so many compliments it made me feel beautiful. Their are activities galore including happy hour on Friday, crafts, games, bingo, movies, and more. There are many care giving companies caring for people onsite. The company my daughter selected for me is fabulous. I am so pleased with the size of my apartment. If I can't be home then this is the best place to be.

I would move in myself if I could!

They have been great! The facility is beautiful, the food is very good, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. The apartments are just like an apartment you would rent as a non- retired person, with nice amenities (but geared toward the elderly).

Wonder Place to call Home

[name removed], our tour guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable and she has a great rapport with all the residents. She knows them by their first names. She took us through every part of the facility and made sure that we were comfortable with everything we saw. She is definitely an asset to your organization.

Cruise ship on land!

When we toured Stone Oak with our dad over four years ago, we knew it was the place for him the moment we walked in the door! Everybody was so friendly…he signed up before we left the building! With a cruise ship on land feel, Stone Oak did not disappoint. The employees became friends and friends became family…looking after each other like families do. We were so blessed to have my dad‘s last years fulfilled at Stone Oak. As we heard when he moved in, we should have done it sooner! Although my dad is gone now, I will continue to visit the special place he called home.

Perfect place for my father!

I learned so much about senior living places while touring and searching for a place for my 90 year old father to relocate to. Ultimately, we decided on Capital Oaks and couldn't be happier! The staff are so friendly, most have been there a while, the food is wonderful and serves three meals a day (plus has a small snack/light meal pantry), no nickel-and-diming for extras. He has a full laundry set up and we rented the extra garage for a very reasonable rate! It is kept clean, the grounds are neat, and there are a lot of activities offered. Like everything, it is what you make it but my father has been good about getting out to meet people, joined their Veteran's Group, etc. Highly recommend!

Mom feels like she’s on vacation!

My mom moved from her single family home into a wonderful 2-bedroom apartment at Oak Park Retirement Resort. The closets are huge, and the many windows provide great natural light. Our family is especially thrilled with how quickly Mom felt “at home.” Throughout the community, there are charming sitting areas and small group gathering rooms where residents can socialize when they’re not watching a show in the huge theatre, or singing around the piano. Almost everyday, Mom participates in a variety of activities like choir, yoga, and trivia night. Mom also enjoys the delicious meal options which means she doesn’t have to cook! We frequently get texts with pictures of her entrees! My husband and I are impressed with the pristine dining rooms, cleanliness, and attentive kitchen staff and servers. The Oak Park management and support staff treat each resident like family. From their kind interactions to the valet parking, we can see why mom feels like she’s on a vacation!

Daniel Pointe is the next best thing to living with family

My husband and I have lived at Daniel Pointe for two years and can't say enough nice things about this active, very well managed community! The staff goes above and beyond to make the residents feel loved, safe, comfortable and at home. The facility is clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. The apartments are spacious, well designed, equipped with full kitchens, ample cabinet and drawer space, walk-in closets, ceiling fans, and full sized washers and dryers. Amenities include 3 meals per day, Sunday buffet brunches, and a 24/7 pantry filled with light fare, coffee, hot chocolate and self serve soft ice cream. There is a lending library, art room, pharmacy, hair salon, fitness center and chapel. A large theatre offers musical entertainment, lectures, movies, and non-denominational church services. The Lounge is the site of Happy Hours and games (Bridge, Rummikub, Mah Jong, Canasta, Bingo, Trivia and much more). The managers live in the building and are always available.

Wonderful retirement place

My mother has been a resident at Oak Park for approximately 2 years, following several years of visiting and considering community. The staff consistently demonstrate exceptional friendliness and attentiveness toward both my mother and the other residents. The facility is always well-maintained and clean. There is a robust schedule of activities throughout the week, with the Activity Director regularly introducing creative and engaging programs. As a frequent visitor, I have developed a close rapport with the staff and residents, knowing many by name. Compared to other senior living facilities, Oak Park stands out for its welcoming atmosphere and sense of community. I also appreciate the unique touches, such as the opportunity for residents to personalize their front doors and the presence of hand railings in the hallways, which enhance both comfort and safety. We’re fortunate to have found a retirement home for my mother where she truly feels at home.

Observation of the Senior Living Consultant, [name removed], in action.

Our Senior Living Consultant frequently brings prospective new residents to my apartment to show them the advantages of living in a two bedroom apartment. She always coordinates the time with me for minimum interruption to my schedule; and she is very polite, considerate, and professional. I am continually impressed with the way she interacts with the clients as if they are already valued residents by giving them important information about living here and making them feel welcomed and appreciated. She has gained the respect and admiration of our residents and staff in the relatively short time she has been here. Let’s keep her!

Friendly residents. Caring staff.

The staff is very caring and all help out in any way they can. All the residents are friendly and enjoy chatting with one another. There is comfort in knowing help is there if needed. There are plenty of choices at each meal. The food is very good and something is available at all times. Daniel Pointe is a great place for those who can live independently.

This is the place, the time, the experience!

This is a beautiful, well designed facility with a gracious and loving staff. It feels like home, with lots of brothers and sisters! We are here to be cared for, but have the blessing of being able to care for others too. Acts of kindness occur continuously and laughter is the mood. The activity program, from exercise to wonderful guest musicians, is invigorating and uplifting. Worship services are open to all. I especially like the self-service and variety of foods available day and night. When needed or desired, room service is free. The kitchen staff work hard to make mealtime pleasurable and nutritious. There are outings, shopping and medical appointments available by a handicapped equipped bus with accommodating drivers. My advice would be, if possible, choose to come. You will enjoy it more and your days will be happier.

My New Home at Oak Park

I moved into Oak Park in Katy, Tx in [date removed]. My family and I were impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the friendliness of the residents even before I moved in . All the staff members call me by name and never hesitate to ask how I am. There are loads of activities to get involved with and I have joined quite a few . I even have PT sessions twice a week and an 11:00am exercise class every day. I love all the attention that was given to decorating the building and I still feel like I am on a cruise ship but never have to leave the port! Oh and there is a good variety of foods served in the dining room.

How glad I am to be living here at Daniel Pointe

Daniel Pointe is wonderful. Resident satisfaction and safety are most important here. There is a staff member in the lobby 24 hours a day. When I walk my dog out in the dark I know that someone is there. That means so much to me. All staff and residents are super friendly. I have been made to feel so welcome. The meals are great. Many options and snacks that are available 24 hours a day. I feel so spoiled! I am in exercise class 3 times a week and I am looking so forward to a mosaic class. Just check this place out!

We love Oak Park

Oak Park has been a wonderful place to live. We have developed many friendships and consider this community our family. They offer three meals plus a day, endless coffee and ice cream, as well as a host of activities including: exercise equipment with classes, card games, dominoes, bean bag baseball, bingo, Ladies Tea, WII bowling, and many more games. They also provide field trips( trips to the museum, baseball games, etc), happy hour with live entertainment, special plated dinners, Travelogue destinations, a theatre for movies, performing choir and more. You may participate in as many things as you wish, or start your own activity. I have been through several management changes and can say that our corporate office sends us the best!
