As Medical Power's of Attorney for a good friend, when he had to move out of his home, we visited many places before picking this one "hands down". All other Memory Care facilities we visited were small, behind locked doors in a regular Assisted Living facility, and depressing. The Auberge at Onion Creek is a large, open, indoor and outdoor space that allows great freedom of movement and variety in experiences for the Residents because the whole facility is locked. The Staff is helpful, very friendly, and the Residents are clean and appear well cared for. The same Chef has been with the facility for sometime, and our friend obviously likes the food because he has gained some weight since moving there. There are on site Physical Therapy services by PTs that go above and beyond, and a Nurse Practitioner for a local Gerontological medical group visits twice a week to evaluate Residents. We receive a call whenever there is any concern about our friend's health or new daily needs. Though not familiar with all the activities, I do know the musical programs are excellent. The last one I attended was a local Country and Western singer who was terrific. Some of the residents were up and dancing. The base rate did go up this year, and a number of the Residents who were there since our friend arrived a year ago have left. We dearly hope that trend does not continue, because this really is a place that should be the model for all other Memory Care facilities.

From my prospective, they seem like they really care about the residents. My loved one was aggressive and other places would not take him, they have done a good job of getting him under control, while still being himself.

THIS FACILITY WAS CHOSEN FOR ITS SECURITY, ATTENTIVE STAFF CLEANLINESS, PRIVATE ROOMS FOR RESIDENTS AND MANAGEMENT OF DETAILS. THESE SERVICES DECLINED WITH TIME; HOWEVER, WITHIN THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS THIS FACILITY HAS ONCE AGAIN BECOME EQUAL TO OR EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS.

I would definitely trust my loved one's care to Arden Courts Cherry Hill. Reasonably expensive but alternatives are also and Arden Courts as good as dementia care gets.

My experience has been a 5 in all categories. For [name removed] situation, Arden Courts has done a very good job with our loved one.

I am writing to thank the staff at Arden Courts in Whippany for the excellent care my husband, [name removed] is receiving. The staff are amazing and he is receiving the best care. Last year my husband’s health began to deteriorate. He was hospitalized several times and had two surgeries. After each hospitalization he was admitted to a care facility to recover. I was aware of the facilities in my area and none of them could meet my expectations. The care left a lot to be desired. I brought him home after each stay. As time went on I realized that he needed more help than I could provide. I started to look at different providers since I was familiar with the different facilities. When I took the tour at Arden Courts I immediately knew this where my husband belonged. I liked the at home atmosphere. The staff were so friendly, they would interact with the residents, the facility was immaculate.

Mom moved to Arden Courts in Mar 2023 from an assisted living in NC. The difference in her is dramatic. Previously, she was anxious and frightened. Here, she is relaxed and cheerful. She has friends, a new boyfriend, and her oldest daughter close by. The staff is warm and capable. They took good care of her when she contracted covid last year. The food is tasty. She is getting good stimulation with activities. We were surprised by how lovely her recent artwork project was. The last thing to mention is the relative lack of staff turnover. In her previous situation, it seemed like the facility was understaffed and changing all the time. This is particularly upsetting for dementia patients for whom consistency is important. As much as anything else, this contributes to the quality of care.

We visited many memory care facilities before deciding on Arden Courts in Kensington, MD. For us, it's the smiles we receive from everyone from the lovely ladies at the front desk to the nursing staff to the care givers when we visit. They all seem to love our beautiful mother and she loves them back. Of course, none of us wanted this for our mom, but we know she is safe and well taken care of . . .which is really all we can hope for. We're so thankful for the staff at Arden Courts, Kensington.

Excellent administrator. Better than others I've checked out. Very caring for the patients.

We are very happy at Auberge. It is expensive, [amount removed] per month, but they have very good caregivers and enough caregivers per resident to keep them safe. Activities are spotty, but adequate to keep my wife engaged. Hygiene is very good.

Arden Courts is amazing. Their staff was kind, caring, and invested in my mother's care. I would recommend them and your services to anyone looking!

With the care services - no matter what facility family needs to be a participating advocate. With the meals and dining - all in all ok. Kitchen does great job on monthly menu. The dining is rushed for people with dementia & are not always helped on feeding. We would of course recommend this community to other families!

When it comes to the care services, the staff could spend more time with my loved one and their hygiene. With the meals, they do try and give our loved one some of their favorites. There could be more one on one activities.

It has been almost three weeks since [name removed] passed away but there is hardly a day that goes by when I don’t think of you, the people at Arden Courts. Why? Because you took such good care of my beloved husband. You were patient and kind, never mean or sarcastic. You tried to find activities to keep him engaged in life. You respected his worth as a human being with an incurable disease that could change his mood in an instant. You gave him love. You were also welcoming and comforting to me. Your cheerful hellos and smiles helped me enormously. Each time I came for a visit I didn’t know what to expect from [name removed]. I walked into the reception with apprehension and yes, sometimes fear. But you helped me meet those fears and spend treasured times with [name removed]. You were always available to answer questions. I am so impressed with the focus of your organization to provide outstanding care for people with memory loss. I hope your model will continue to expand to many other states.

My husband passed away on [date removed]. If I had to use only 1 word to describe my experience with Arden Courts, that word would be wonderful. The longevity of their employees speaks volumes- employees there work together; the atmosphere is calm and thoughtful; the family of the resident is important and is always kept advised; their activities are impressive and engaging and kindness, compassion and helpfulness seem to be their way of life.

5 across the board. My dad recently passed, [date removed] and the care he received over the past 18 months was fantastic. I could tell each member of the staff built a rapport with my dad in their own way. I have no complaints of how the Auberge of Cedar Park cared for my dad during his stay there.
