We visit my step mother here, during our annual visit to FL, and call at other times to check up on her and speak to her on the office mobile phone. The office staff is very accommodating with these calls. She is unable to live independently, and has excellent care at this facility. Her room and bathroom are always clean and orderly. She has clean clothes available, and she is well fed. The staff is very friendly and respectful of the residents, and they address and encourage them all by name. My step mother had intense anxiety when she first came here, but as time has gone on, she has responded very well to her environment here and now seems mostly calm and contented. There are lots of activities for the residents and special holiday celebrations. We are very happy with the care she is receiving, and always look forward to our visits.

I would give a 5+ for all areas 1-8! We didn't deal with the full extent of food or activities but we were aware of them and they were very appropriate and supportive.

Amazing facility with amazing workers. It’s easy to tell when someone takes pride and what they do and not this facility, they do was in the best interest of the patient.

The staff were very friendly and personable. They took the time to interact with me when I would visit. The put together nice parties and the Christmas party for the whole family was wonderful. My mother passed away in December, but I thought it was a nice gesture that the director came to her wake. The staff really liked my mother and were broken up when I went there to collect her belongings.

My husband was at Arden Courts in Livonia for 26 days while I took a well deserved break. I am very satisfied with the facility. The staff I interacted with were caring and related to what my family was going through. They are knowledgeable about my husband's memory loss and dementia. I want to shout out to three staff there: 1. Direct care - [name removed]. He is the best. He respected my husband even with his challenging behavior. He made sure my husband was clean, properly dressed, and attended activities and ate with other residents. 2. Another staff is [name removed]. She called many times, helped eased my anxiety and guilt feelings and placed him in a facility. 3. Another staff is the Administrator. She walked me through the process and when I told her what my husband liked and how he liked to be addressed, she made sure the staff knew them. I would definitely use the facility again due to the above, plus cleanness and the option of one room per resident.

Very thankful that my mom is receiving very good care as she struggles with dementia. Her anxiety and mood has improved since she moved in 18 months ago. She enjoys the food and has made some nice friends. It is a much better situation for her and the family because she is now getting the proper care she deserves.

Wonderful place. Sadly, it’s out of our price range . It had all the amenities that my husband would need, but we just can’t afford it long term. I don’t want to move him again.

The staff especially [name removed] are so knowledgeable and compassionate. They respond to inquiries quickly. The facility is top of the category of professional staff.

The staff is very caring and the facility is very warm and homey. I would recommend Arden Courts to any seeking a place for their loved ones needing good care for their loved one. I think that you will find Arden Courts to be very warm and homey instead of feeling institutional. .

Care is amazing. Everyone is so positive very little turnaround in staff. I know he is in a safe environment. I am always welcomed by the staff to spend time with Dad. My Dad is always involved in an activity. There are special activities throughout the year. Medical and physical therapy is available. Good food and plenty of snacks. Outdoors is wonderful and beautiful. All in all glad I found Arden Courts of West Orange!

I just love coming to visit my mom here at Arden in Kensington. The staff are so friendly and always are so attentive to the residents. She is thriving and always so happy when we visit. She is always busy with activities and always on the move. The activities are always fun and engaging for the residents. There is also a weekly mass which is so nice and she looks forward to that every Friday. Arden has become a second home to us all as we know mostly everyone in the building and feel so welcome every time we walk in the door.the building is always so nice and well taken care of. Willard the dog is always a great addition to Arden. He is the resident therapy dog and is so sweet and the residents love to see and visit with him. We do bring him treats his owner Beth brings him around to visit all the residents.

Our Mom is doing wonderful at Arden Courts in Kensington. She has been there a little over a year. All of the staff are outgoing, patient with the residents, fellow staff and visitors. They offer so many activities for the residents. We enjoy visiting Mom often and participating in some of the activities.

We are so lucky to have found Arden Courts! Our mom has been a resident for over a year and has been so happy! We visit her almost daily and are always greeted by the wonderful staff every time! ! Her caregivers are so patient and kind and caring it’s like a family ! That makes us feel so good ! We count our blessings everyday.

I went recently for a tour and was impressed with both the facility and staff. This place did not feel like a memory care facility like those of the recent past. There are activities all over the facility for residents to do. I can't wait to get my mother into this facility.

I had the opportunity to tour the Arden Courts Glenn Ellyn Wednesday, [date removed] with [name removed], Director of Nursing. The objective of the tour was to identify if the Ardon Courts could provide the services necessary for my relative. After an hour tour of the facility, and assuring conversation with [name removed], we identified that Arden Courts would be home for my relative. Thank you so much.

The caregivers really love the residents of the community. It doesn't matter what house they're in, everyone helps out everyone. The families here are very nice too and look out for each other. They are know dementia and don't think twice about the oddities that come with this disease.

I was there to tour the facility and found it be very impressive. Thank you to the staff, and job well done.

I was interested in looking for some assistance for myself and my 93 year old sister. I am 95 and I was so pleased at the beautiful features of the community. We are both still pretty independent but you never know what might happen to the two of us someday! Great view of the courtyard and so much nature all around. If we need help we will come to Charlotte Stephenson for care.

I round say 5 for all but food. I would give that a 3. To much salt. Mom does not do activities. Personal choice. I liked the friendliness of the administration and staff. They were very accommodating for Mom. She has no complaints about them. The food is her biggest issue since she's usually on salt free diet as much as possible. She has edema from to much salt.
