Nice and clean, I actually know the people there. They have nice staff. It's bright and clean and there were a lot of activities for the residents to participate in.

Good assisted living facility. We almost placed my mom here. Only didn't because it was farther away from where I live. Nice, clean, residents seemed happy. Not a place for someone with moderate to severe dementia though.

My dad is in independent living so I'm not too sure how the care is. I know my dad's neighbor took a fall and he said the life line never came. He had a fall the other day and he said it was 35 or 40 minutes until the got there. I called them on it and they said it was only 8 minutes so I'm not sure how long it actually was. Overall I think they're friendly people, it's a nice place and it seems pretty clean but I do have my concerns with their life line program.

I like Elmcroft's layout, It seemed more like a home to me with large gathering areas that a resident could sit quietly in and still interact with others. The staff was very helpful and was welcoming even though it was a difficult time for me and for my mother.

We had the room all set up, and the people and the facility were excellent. Everything looked very nice.

The care is pretty good. My mother is not used to needing people to help her to do things so sometimes she gets a little impatient when they're not right there to help her. There are some staff members that my mother absolutely adores. They are wonderful and they take excellent care of her but once in a while it's not so great. The activities are pretty decent. They have bingo, movie nights, entertainment, happy hour on Fridays, exercise classes and a lot of other games and things. They take them shopping if they are able. Sometimes they take them out to lunch. The food is fantastic - my mother raves about it!

It's a pretty good place, a lot of friendly people. The food could be a lot better and the activities could be better, more. They really don't have a good variety with food and the preparation of the food is not what you'd expect, a lot of people have complained about the food. Last night they served macaroni and cheese for dinner with crumbled bacon on top and you couldn't taste the cheese, they're cutting the corners on some things. Some things are very good, every once in awhile you come across something good. The activities are kind of sparse, all day today really there's nothing going on. In the last couple of days all 3 things were canceled and nothing was really scheduled for this afternoon, so that needs to be improved on.

My dad was there for maybe 6 months. It's a nice place. It's extremely nice and clean. It kind of felt like you were in a hotel as opposed to a hospital or something so I would definitely recommend it to other people. They have the different levels of care. My dad required a little bit more care before he passed aways so it was good that they had that.

I was impressed with what I saw. I knew people there and I was impressed with it. They had the cleanliness and it seemed to have a lot of different activities for the patients there. It seemed like everybody was doing something at some point. They kept them engaged in something all day. It was a clean place. They were very frienldy and cost-wise it was more affordable for the quality and the types of services, I believe, than any of the other senior citizen programs that I visited.

After considering 4 other places we went with Emeritus at Jensen Beach because it is very pleasant and does not feel like an institution or convalescent home. I can only vouch for the memory care side, but they also offer assisted living. The Memory Care Ward is pretty well controlled. It seems to be pretty well staffed, although there can be a bit of turnover at any facility. It seems in some areas Emeritus may be due for modernization, like their billing department. You would think with a large corporation like Emeritus they would have more progressive and modern billing options, but for the most part this is a good place and I would recommend to anybody else who is looking.

We have been very pleased with Emeritus. Everything so far has been going good. The staff is really nice and they are on top of everything. They follow through with what they say they will do. We are very happy with them so far.

Everything has been going well with Atria South Hills. Everything is going good with my mother, she is happy and comfortable. They are doing a really good job with my mother.

We chose Emeritus at Deer Creek for my dad because of the decent value for the money they give, as compared to other places we saw. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. They have gone out of their way to help my dad adjust. Even though it is independent living they check on him if he misses a meal. There is a stale smell that has lingered since he moved in and when I requested linen service nothing happened 3 hours after the request. As far as activities go, I don't think it's Emeritus' fault but the residents are not that active, so there are less activities because of the less active residents there.

She can come for temporary respite care and leave when she can or stay if she has to. Have her own apartment; Very non-institutional; Mom would have her own apartment, Medicare would pay for up to 3 hours of care a day, 5 days per week: 1 hour with a therapist, one with a nurse, and one with a caregiver. Restaurant style meals that can be delivered to her room, free laundry, apartment cleaning, cable. Up to 21 hours of care for additional $. Cost $2613.75 She can come to the hospital to give mom an assessment to determine her level of care 1-6. She thinks she is probably a 3 based on what I've told her. The only thing that would disqualify her from assisted living is if she needed 2 people to care for her.

We recently moved our aunt into the memory care unit at Brentwood. The staff there is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and cheerful. They have a small outdoor area where residents can enjoy being outside in a safe manner. Food is served in a nice dining area and staff actually eat with the residents. There is a small area where residents can watch television and there are several different activity stations for residents to enjoy. The rooms are very spacious and include a large bathroom. Residents can also have their own television and phone service at a very reasonable rate. The nurses' station is located in the center of the area so they can see down both halls and keep an eye on what's going on.

Helpful in moving in and getting set up. Also when little problems happen the staff go the extra mile to help solve the problem. A great place to live.

We loved this place!

Was a very nice looking facility. Staff very friendly and helpful. Attentive to emergency paging of residents. Director did a good job explaining everything about the facility and paperwork involved. Gave a nice tour. Lots of activities. The only con I had with it was the smell. Otherwise a great place to put on our list.

the Director was very helpful and the facility was clean. They also have in-house therapy which is a plus.
