It is a very clean place, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The staff try to get the residents involved. They also give our loved one physical therapy. I am pleased with the community. They have cooking demonstrations, movies, concerts, and other activities for the residents to choose from.

Our loved one lived there for a little over a year. They were a good place. It was an older building, but they kept it clean. Our biggest issue was having to deal with them sending her to he hospital for little things the hospital can’t fix. They think the ER can fix things they can’t. So every time we went, they would run a Covid test, which was negative every time. The reason we moved her was because we were moving out of state.

This place is great. They take care of my loved one well. They've been up to speed on everything. They're very friendly walking into the door. Everybody there is very nice to my loved one. From what I saw, they were offer a lot of activities. They're always wiping down cleaning, and his room is completely clean all the time. It's just a great old place.

the prettiest of the facilities that we've seen. Not socially warm. Many nice amenities. We were concerned that staff seemed somewhat aloof. Our rating reflects the physical facility and amenities.

My mom was living alone for 12 years after dad died, but over Christmas she stayed with us for 3 weeks and we got a true look at how much help she needed every day. She kept forgetting to take her pills, she wouldn't shower (only "bird bath" but she still had an odor), and the worst of it was she was becoming unstable on her feet. My wife visited facilities and liked this one the best because it's "homey" We took mom to see it and she went from saying "Im not moving, I'm fine at home" to "I could put my dresser here, and my corner hutch here". It's been a couple months and though we've had to stick with video chats and window visits due to covid rules, my mom has stayed safe and the facility is efficient in keeping the people there safe, healthy and happy. Now that restrictions have lifted we can go in and visit her in person. My wife agrees that mom has definitely gained weight back, and we notice she's just happier. The staff make her feel loved and she enjoys chatting with them.

Our loved one really enjoys the meals that they serve, and we would recommend the Atria Hearthstone community to others.

A warm friendly greeting by everyone we met. [name removed] took my friend and I straight to my apartment choice and explained everything I had to ask from my own list. I met several residents again today like I did yesterday with [name removed]. Everyone was welcoming and made me feel so special. I don't know how I'll wait 'til the end of the month! Clean, fresh, well-orgainized. Definitely my kind of place! I'll feel so safe as well as plenty of opportunities for interaction with residents and staff. The menus look enticing. I went staight home and began sprucing up my house to make it sell faster! Thank you, one and all!

It depends on the level of illness. My loved one had dementia, but other than that, she was healthy. What I liked about Elmcroft is they were very accommodating in being able to handle her particular problem. They were very good at infection control regarding the virus, and getting her vaccinated as quickly as possible. She feels safe there. The activities she participates in she enjoys. I am very happy that a physician evaluates her regularly, as well as outside nurses who come in to assess her mental status. If her dementia becomes more severe, they can handle it within the same facility, so there would be no need to move her out. I was very impressed with them. I looked at a number of places in the area, and for what my loved one could afford, Elmcroft was the best. I couldn't be happier with the care there. The cost seemed reasonable to me, but that's not to say that other places that cost less might not be equivalent. You would just have to go and check them out for yourself to see.

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and facility, very clean, [name removed] is educative and helpful. Happy residents who are independent and active. great choice if you like resort lifestyle!

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Facility was clean and nicely decorated inside and out. Rooms were spacious bathroom had adequate safety features. Option of two-week temporary stay quite appealing and worth definite consideration.

We chose Atria Newburgh because they were prompt in calling us back when we were looking at different places. The room sizes here were adequate. We did not have a whole lot experience with them, but I would call every week to check on him and when we would take stuff out there they would make sure that he got it. Based off our experience I would recommend

I think it's a very nice facility. Its clean. My family member seems to be happy here. I like the rooms on the assisted living side. The apartment is very nice. The bathroom is nice and big for her in case she needs a wheelchair or a walker. The living room and little kitchenette they have are nice. It's a great little apartment. And I think she's pretty happy there. The staff have been basically pretty nice. I haven't come across anyone who's been negative. They're very helpful.

My experience has been good so far, the community is very clean and the staff members are fantastic. The food is very good and if there is something I do not like they give plenty of alternative. They do the best they can with the activities and I do think the value is pretty good.

We toured Brookdale Richmond and it was a really nice facility. We just did not think that my brother would fit in with the population that was here.

We were able to do an in person tour with Atria. I think it is a really great place for people who need independent living or assisted living, but we did not feel it had the right services needed for memory care.

I would recommend it here. I think the staff is very friendly, and the facility is very presentable. My friend tells me he likes the food overall.

We chose Desoto Beach Club because the facility itself was clean, the staff members were friendly and I felt like they were confident and attentive. The apartment sizes here are good. I think they have done a good job during the whole covid experience with monitoring visitors and adjusting the food/activities and adapting to the whole situation. I would recommend to others looking.

The community is doing more and more activities. The community lets people know when there is an activity they think they would like. I felt like this was the place the 1st time I walked in. They get to know every and I saw them interact with so many families they know who there coming to visit. I would recommend this community to others.

The Crossings is definitely on the shortlist. They checked every box. Neat, clean, well maintained, well-staffed, an extensive activities plan, etc...the only complication is, their doctor does not accept Humana which is her healthcare plan. We'll deal with this issue if they make the final cut.

My experience has been very good. To me, it's been better than the other two places I lived in. They make you feel welcome. They try to help you in any way you can. It's not assisted living, but they try to make sure you're aware of activities and things that are going on, so you can make your mind up what you'd like to do. They put up an activities sheet weekly. I enjoy bingo, which they offer about 6 days a week. I like to craft, and they have a movie every night. I like my apartment very much, it was just what I needed. It's the least expensive of any retirement communities I've lived in. They're part of Holliday corporation, so they have a lot to offer. They own about 300 other retirement communities, including Hawaii. And if I'm travelling, I can check to see if they have a room available and I can stay there for nothing. They will also let me take my pet. A lot of people aren't aware of that travel policy.
