My sister-in-law and her son visited the facility and were very pleased with what they saw. My brother moved in on Monday [date removed] and he seems happy to be there. I did not tour the facility.

They accessed my checking account without permission. They owe me thousands of dollars. They offered 1/2 price 1st two months and then did not honor that verbal contract. Dad fell and suffered a subdural hematoma during his 8 day approximately $[removed] stay

I would rate it a 1. Here is why. My mom was there for 2 1/2 weeks on several occasions I caught a resident in her room stealing her stuff. On another occasion this same resident was in my mother's bed sleeping, so supervision was lacking. On [date removed] th my mother fell and was transported to the hospital at around midnight. We don't know how long she was in the floor before they found her. She had contusions on her head, arms and legs the seem excessive for a fall. She spent 7 days in the hospital and was diagnosed with a UTI and Sepsis, something Celebration Villa didn't pick up on. From the hospital she went to Astoria for therapy after that. Due to know movement in the hospital she became contracted in bed and could not tolerate the therapy as it caused extreme pain. We took her back home and called in Hospice. On [date removed] my mother passed away. She left Celebration Villa in an ambulance as I said on Christmas Eve. She never returned. Consequently celebration Villa charged our family a full $[removed] for the month of January and another $[removed] for the first week of February clamming we needed to give them 30 days notice that she wouldn't be back. They didn't care there were extenuating circumstances and refused to refund us the money. So in my opinion I would not recommend Celebration Villa to anyone who loves the family member.

Very poor experience, I would not recommend anyone to this facility. Too many to name. Start by false statement of food care and management. Basically our family had to be there 24/7. Quality of care terrible all the way around.

I helped a friend find a place there. It was on a list provided by "A Place for Mom" in our area. It is updated and the staff up until recently has been great. There is a new manager on the property who does not respond to issues of residents, return calls or emails. The sales pitch is fabulous, but once you sign, you are forgotten. After a short five months, he received a rent increase notice for an un renovated apartment of over [removed price] per year for a small one bedroom. The "assistant" to the manager would not let me make an appointment with the new "manager" either to discuss this. Unprofessional would be an understatement. Please place your active seniors elsewhere. Everything starts off great until it doesn't then all you get are auto monthly charges without the answers regarding unexpected rent increases after a "promotion" and decrease in services with zero explanation.

I do not like them. They started out low price and jacked it up to [fee removed] per month in less than one year. Leave mom in wet clothes when they are supposed to be taking her to bathroom 6 times a day but are not, and her beeper has been found not working on several occasions. They should be reported to the state. Put that in your profile. Very disappointed in them and you!

Very dissatisfied with Brookdale. There was a change in management and it was not a good change. The food was often terrible. The staffs attention worse and for the last few months mom lived there there was no housekeeper. We moved mom in in mid [date removed] and moved her out the beginning of [date removed]. I would not recommend this facility to anyone.

Don't use them unless they clean up their act.

My father was there for 2.5 years. The communication with executive staff and nursing is horrible. I repeatedly complained to the manager about my father's room being dirty. It was always dusty, there were cobwebs on the windowsill, the foor was dirty and the bathroom smelled like urine and was dirty. It was not cleaned weekly even though they said it was. Several times in 2025, he did not receive his medication, 1 time because they didn't have it and 1 time because they had to wait for someone to load his new medication into their system. They are very expensive and charge for levels of care that they are not able to provide. When questioned why they are not providing care the resident is paying for, they just give you excuses to justify it. In the 2.5 years my father was there, they refused to take responsibility for anything and always blamed someone else for the issues. It was always the residents fault, or the doctor's fault, or the family's fault.

I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Medications were forgotten, short staffed, dining staff weren't always present, ants in room were never addressed, and cleanliness not the best. The floor nurses were friendly; executive director and front desk - not so much.

I was not impressed at all. The building was filthy, residents were unkept, courtyards are not appealing, and the dining rooms are nasty! I spoke with another family member while there and they said the food needs more nutritional value which is so important for those with dementia. They sit the residents in front of empty tables or the TV. This was my second time visiting this year and everyone I met isn’t there anymore. I really liked the sales girl I spoke to and when I called her she said she parted ways with the building after 5 years there. I cannot see my mom living there and being cared for.

Went here from motel/hotels, I figured with the meals included and rent I might be better off. House keeping is bad. When one of them is sick or on vacation there is no coverage. The meals are mostly bad, one of the cooks said he could not believe some of the stuff they serve!! They have been told numerous times about a server, [name removed], and she is still there. Most of the night shift won't work with her. Is that anyway to operate a dinning room?

My mom was just moved here three weeks ago in that time she had three trips to the hospital. Soon after we decided Hospice was what was best for her and may I say the hospice staff was phenomenal, the staff at celebration’s was poor! Didn’t take the time to feed my mom . She fell never cleaned the blood off the rug. That’s what I saw when I walked in the morning after mom passed . It was a tiny room that she was in . On [date removed] my mom passed at 10:38 , hospice called with the news, I arrived next morning to collect a ( no one the director , or staff member paid their condolences ! )few things with the intent to return the next day . Well her things were all by the front door , they went thru her things . Had no right!! To touch her things . This place is horrible don’t place your loved one here!

A terrible experience, my mother in-law was only there for maby 6 weeks before she passed away. They threw all her belongings out in the hallway just hour's after she passed. No feelings whatsoever. Please think twice before you put your loved one in this place.

For the memory care side this was our experience. Not good by any means. Nothing about the stay was good. Staffing was a big concern , meaning they didn't have the staff they needed. And the little CNAs in the memory care unit were not experienced in dealing with memory care patients. We also had issues on the medical side because staff was not trained in super pubic catheters which was a huge issue.

My unfavorable review was taken down from the website. I had posted it last year. They cannot deliver what they promise. Food is unhealthy, missed medication, med techs not well educated, Safety concerns.

When I asked about cost, they failed to mention others fees that were more than 50% of the bill. When I asked about fees, they didn't disclose the full cost.

Food was 3. All else was a 1. [name removed] end of life was horrible, they did not have meds to give him. When they finally got meds, it was too late to help! If I had the energy, I would have filed charges or sued. Their license should be removed! Cleanliness was lacking. Bathing and dressing him was not good. Keeping him Warm, he was always cold. Helping him eat. Giving him water, which I approved. Staff would say they couldn't do something because of the law, I'd cover it with the manager, he said I could sign a waiver and it would be done. Never, ever happened. The lack of meds at end of life was totally inexcusable!!!! My advise is to close the facility.

We were told one thing but rarely did it match what actually happened. They were in transition from one owner to another and were very understaffed.
