In my experience, there seems to be some miscommunication with the health staff and in house doctors. I would recommend not using the in-house doctor in my mom's experience. They also don't offer shuttle services on Fridays unless that has changed. The front desk is second to none, and the nursing staff does the best they can do to help with the residents and medications. The dinning hall experience doesn't seem like the best standard for the residents for fellowship

The facility changed the rules. For the past year they have emptied my loved ones Catheter when needed. Most of the time they were self sufficient. The corporate nurse even suggested that the catheter be removed. Unbelievable! When Brentwood decided they could no longer assist I had to make multiple trips each day to check on my loved one, needless to say I had to look for another facility. I would not recommend this facility.

Need to remodel - apartments very outdated especially the bathroom - some staff are great others not so much - food was good some days and not others depending on staff showing up etc - my mom lived in independent not assisted so that's what I'm reviewing -

Overall experience - was better better at first but things seem to be getting worse as time goes on. Too short of staff is probably the main problem. For cleanliness, the The hallways and lobby look clean. They don't keep up with rooms as they say they do. The staff are very friendly but they just don't do their job like they should. I believe they are fully staffed now so I hope things get better. I was there today and my family member had wet the bed. Dirty sheets and blankets still on bed in afternoon. Staff was in his room because his food tray there. Also they do not make sure he's taking his pills. One drawer had about 12 pills in it. Family member states food not very appealing. And they really don't monitor how much a person eats. Activities - I really don't know My family member does not participate in activities. Value for cost - I think all facilities charge about the same. And from what I've heard from different people all facilities about the same. Everyone has same complaints/concerns I just mentioned.

I am not the least bit satisfied with them. They can improve on every aspect. I wouldn't recommend them.

Things have significantly gone downhill in the past few months. 90% of them are very good but I think hampered by owners and budget restrictions. Housekeeper very good but some weeks skipped. Kitchen and menu administration a disaster. Menus repeatedly wrong when items listed not available. Menu mistakes such as recently beef fajitas turned out to be chicken fajitas. They run out at a serving, example after serving 80% of residents ran out of spaghetti and meatballs. Food service usually slow, partly because of waiter personnel shortage but mainly because of kitchen. Dinner is from 5 to 6. Last night got drinks at 5:05, soup at 5:10, ordered entree at 5:35 or so and was served @ 5:55. Food usually bland, hot plate, cold pancakes e.g.

Was not happy with the care I received. I was provided with a room but not the care I should have received. The staff was on their phone and talking with each other rather than attending to the patients.

Poor experience overall just worried about money. Fesces on the floor and on the chair for a week. Some of the staff very nice some think you owe them. Mom was standing next to the fireplace nurse standing along side her left her fall 7 staples in her head. Meals she was on thick water she was too drink so many oz. Of water per hour every 8 weeks had to go to the hospital for dehydration infection in her body. Activity would let her set in her room so they didn't have to deal with her. Isn't worth the money for what you get. Wish I would never moved her there. There rehab just wanted the money 3 days at the VA the rehab addresses the problem and fixed it.

This review is from a past experience. If they still have the same administration, I would not recommend it. Talk with other families, visit at meal times, observe what sanitation possibilities are present(e.g. handwashing/towels for staff, where dirty laundry is kept till it can be washed. Note staff/patient ratios on each shift.

Not a place for loved ones suffering with dementia or Alzheimer. Or a memory deficiency. Staff not trained to handle the special needs a memory challenge person has. Workers don't show up, constantly under staffed. Communication is next to nil unless there is a problem. To be fair, this place was bought out in Nov-23 by a large conglomerate out of state. The staff is new, under trained in many roles. Much room for improvement for sure. From what I hear, this is status quo wherever you go.

Family made arrangements for Mom to go here right after rehab stay. The room was not ready when we arrived. TV wasn’t usable for over a week. Medications not consistently given in a timely manner. Toilet very dirty and not cleaned for several days. Mom was never given an introduction to the facility so she did not fully understand what “assisted living” really meant. Did not feel welcome by staff. Not able to shower for a week! Management change over taking place and from our standpoint it was not going well.

I would not recommend Brookdale for memory care, which is the floor he was on. He was there for approximately 7 months until they said they could not accommodate him anymore because he kept falling. He then was in long term care for a little over a year, which please do not ever recommend port st lucie rehab, horrible place, I moved him after 3 months of being there. Brookdale I feel was always short staffed and couldn't keep an eye on him. The house keeping was horrible. Hos bathroom always smelt like urine and I had to constantly ask them to clean it. I feel that they didn't do much with the residents to help keep their minds occupied.

I have no interest in giving a review for a place for Mom. I feel deflated and mortified at the whole thing. Manresa has serious issues and as a result of believing that this was something special my father is not in good care or safe as far as I have witnessed. A [removed] of mass proportions.

The food was bad and the cook was a jerk. They raised the rent just because, not worth it. The rooms re not cleaned per contract once per week, sometimes went 2 to 4 weeks. Yes they raised rent, hired a new chef who is an old one from there not a very good cook either. Roof leaks, maintenance man is way behind. My friends been waiting for a long time to move, apartment still not ready.

Great location, fabulous waterfront porch. But needs to be cleaned out, floors stripped, paint sanded off and redone, refurb needed. Also, seems to have much meaner and rougher employees and managers since the buyout by Priority Life Care. Seems fewer, less qualified, and frankly rude people .

We left there 6 months ago because of a terribly noisy resident above us. They refused to move us to a top floor. We are now in an apartment and very happy. I would not recommend because we felt that all they cared about what getting you in and then nothing mattered. The residents are lovely, but many have moved out.

My mom was previously a resident at Celebration Villa of Lakemont Farms. During her time there we found that the food was awful. The staff were lackadaisical. She was in 2 different rooms- one with an abusive roommate and the other with a kind lady who had Dementia. Mom had her full faculties. Laundry was a mess- she'd get others clothes and her clothes went missing, along with her comforters and sheets. I would not recommend.

Management does not respond to change things when there are problems. Worst food I have ever had and it seems to rotate every two weeks. Only manager that walks the dining room and ask questions can’t do anything about the issues as they are in sales, not the chef. General manager is sweet but her hands are tied by Corporate. Have raised our rent twice since September when they took over. Boring activities only there for the same people. I enjoy the pool and the library. Bus driver is a nice guy.

They continuously over charge the residents for rent. The building is falling apart. Vital appliances such as water heaters will not be replaced but simply bandaged. The food is sub par at best. Some of the staff are wonderful however there are several that have little to no compassion for it's elderly residents. When the facility has special occasions that are celebrated with food are only set up on the assisted living side. Which is also the side that has the most COVID cases. So most of the independent residents do not get to enjoy or partake. And they pay for it.

Their Memory Care Unit does not provide the level of care necessary for elderly patients who need help with their everyday tasks. They are severely understaffed. There were times when we needed assistance and couldn't even find anyone. My mother's room frequently reeked of urine because she'd had accidents and no one bothered to clean up. The bottom of her shoes were often sticky from urine on the bathroom floor. The trash can frequently was overflowing with incontinence products that had obviously been there for days. We came to visit on numerous occasions to find her sleeping on a bare dirty mattress. Several articles of clothing and 2 or 3 blankets we provided went missing in the laundry including a $50 fleece blanket given to her as- Christmas gift. And I might add that I've seen some similar complaints in other online reviews so this was not just us. We feel badly that we did not move her out of here much sooner.
