The housekeepers could do more in his room. Most are quite friendly except for a receptionist on weekdays who is very dour and unskilled with grumpy people. The desserts could be better. Food is OK but not great. There are diverse activities and trips. Fairly good value though increases yearly. Yes, we would recommend this community to others, the cost is lower than others and they generally do a good job. Personally my favorite was [community name removed] but they are way too expensive. The neighborhood which is great for walking. Safeway only 1/4 mile away. That has been a major plus

The staff was really really good. My dad's caregivers were very kind to him and very helpful. They weren't real successful at getting him to join into activities or even the dining room sometimes. But that was way less their fault and more his. They checked on him often, they helped him with all the things he needed help with. We told them that he was a coffee guy and so they would make him coffee. They joked with him, turned the TV on for him. This is the second person of my family to stay at Auburn Meadows and both did very well there and loved it.

I would say the people running the facility and the residents are very friendly. I choose this facility because of the friendliness and because it was smaller in size. It had a homey environment rather then institutional.

What our family likes the most about the Prestige Senior Living community is the good marketing from the staff members. The staff are also very helpful and our loved one likes the food. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

My loved one is currently a resident at Prestige Senior Living West Hills and things have been very good so far at this facility! My loved one's apartment is very nice. The facility is nice and very clean, the staff is friendly and the food is good. The response to assistance request (help button) time is great, also.

It is best if you are independent if not I hey will over. Charge you every penny that they can. Do not use for respite. I picked this community, because of the advertising, and from visiting.

Our family had an in person tour with Prestige Senior Living and it was ok, but our loved one would have not liked the way the rooms were set up. I thought they were find, but she would have felt like she was in a zoo. However the staff members were really nice

I liked their facilities and the staff we met were very friendly. Mom chose Van Mall because she liked the apartment and that if she needed to have some assistance, she didn't have to move. The price was higher and didn't include more than one meal. To get two more meals a day was $[removed] a month.

It is an above average facility, from my limited exposure to such places. My mom is fairly happy there. Positives: It is a clean, friendly facility with pretty good food. The staff works hard and greets you with a lot of positivity. They seem to genuinely care for their residents, and most of the residents seem happy when you encounter them in the halls and dining area. Negatives: they are woefully understaffed and have a fair amount of turnover it seems. The communication is not timely, and you really need to be organized and be your own advocate. You have to stay on top of care (like meds) and financials. They seem to be in a constant state of overwhelm. They do not have good systems in place for certain things. I really do think they are one of the good ones — just want people to know that they will need to be active participants in monitoring their loved one's care.

They worked well coordinating her move in. They were really helpful with the dog care when my mom went to the hospital. I wish they were more clear on the additional fees. That number moves constantly and is often higher than budgeted for. My mom has been using the extra services because they've been offering them to her. She was unaware she has been paying for each thing versus them just being helpful. I've had to coach her to decline services she doesn't need.

The tour was great, but my loved one needed a more active, energetic facility. There was not much going on here since it is strictly assisted living.

Prestige Senior Living is a nice place. The people there are good and have been very helpful. And the building is beautiful.

This facility was most appropriate for my brother in law who did not want a large place. He also did not need a lot of amenities like some of the bigger ones offered. They went out of their way to try and accommodate him with the apartment that he got and even negotiated the price with us. The activities are appropriate for him, but I think they need more for the other residents. I think they could improve on encouraging the residents to participate more often. The facility is very clean and the staff are all very nice. A few negatives is they do not have any safe, covered parking for their cars. The way they have their food set up is its 1 meal a day if you want more its an extra 200. I think they should allow at least 2 meals a day for that price. But overall the price was actually better than most other places that we looked at. It is a bit older but they are about to remodel. They turn over the rooms beautifully before new residents move in. They have a nice outdoor space off of the apartments. There are heating systems in each room and they are quite noisy. it is in a residential area that is a quarter mile from Safeway. If residents can walk that is nearby as well as a lot of other restaurants and stores. Overall it has been a pretty good choice for him.

Very social atmosphere. My mom enjoys the many activities and how welcoming and inclusive the residents have been. There were a few issues at the beginning with poor communication amongst staff that resulted in mix-up with my dad's meds. There is no RN on staff 24/7, which has its own issues if someone needs extra care.

Prestige Senior Living Monticello Park was great and the Liasons was a great person people. But my Dad is what they consider Medically Complex. This facility's RNs felt that my Dad would require a lot of attention/monitoring. They felt he probably would be better served in Skilled Nursing and not their facilities. Weird part is they never even met with my Dad for a assessment. This was just them reviewing his medical records. So it's not that I didn't choose them. They just told me no thanks!

So far it's been a good experience, my parents are happy.

I went with Prestige because of [name removed], he is the admitting director and he was very personable, open, and explained everything in detail. He also took the time to talk to my sons and explain everything to them as well. For the most part, the staff are wonderful but there are always those few. I would tell others looking to just be nice and polite to the staff because I have been that way and have had no issues, if you treat them well they will treat you well back. I would recommend the facility to others looking.

It seems to be a pretty nice place. The people there are very nice. My Mom likes it.

a good place to live with friendly and helpful staff. due to Covid, the food has not been good recently.

This was a smaller community which makes it nicer due to one on one time from the caregivers. The staff interactions have been average and there is always room for improvement. Covid has created a lot of different issues which I get but do not get its just hard to adjust.
