Prestige Care

It's very clean and friendly. The atmosphere is like walking into a fine hotel; it's beautiful. They are so very patient with my mom. She has short term memory loss and they took the time to get to know her and not to offend her. When they realized there was something lacking they stepped right up. At first, they would ask her if she would like to shower and she would say no thank you because she doesn't like to bother people. As soon as we said she hasn't had a shower since the hospital, they stepped right up. They took the time to listen to us and understand my mom's personality. They are so respectful. They even made sure to seat her near others in the dining hall who she would be able to have conversations with. They treat you like you're family. My mom is being cared for and loved. I feel like we've found a place that we can trust.

This came in a very close second to our final choice. Loved the room size, the friendly staff, the tenure of the staff and the size of the community itself. What swayed us to our final choice was the courtyard and all activities on the ground level.

Definitely more like it for us. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Very nice facility. We like that there is an option for an early on dementia client to enjoy the benefits of assisted living and...when necessary .. the transition into the memory care unit. I also like the close knit community feel. Pretty close to 'sold' on this location.

took tour including the "model room" and the "large" room. We were impressed with the staff and size and the levels of care. Small enough that she knows all the residents and quirks, good ratio of men to woman, 8 couples live there. Do a lot of activities had a group gone to the casino today. Food was good, dining room nice, clean. Place had no smells at all.

Great place. Memory care the best we've seen or would want. Small group in this unit so more one on one. Activity director is wonderful. Great seems to understand all fazes of care from experience. Place is very clean, the rooms are in par with the Arbors, the grounds are well kept, nice outside walking area. Food was great!! Real menus, good portions and very tasty. The Chef took the time to come out and talk with all the residents at lunch and take suggestions and see how they were enjoying their meal. Had cookies baking in a small activity room; very homey. Interior design is beautiful. Well thought out and adds a touch of class. Liked the seating areas in each cubicle of rooms at end of hallways. They offer enough activities to keep everyone busy. Lovely place. The top of his list. They evaluate the residents frequently and also as long as he can watch her they can stay with help if needed instead of moving her prematurly away from him. I would feel very good with her being here.

The residents and staff are all very friendly. She felt at home right away and the staff is excellent and very caring. She had one medical crisis and they handled it well. They were not fully transparent about the end date of the move in special and it is now more expensive than planned.

Prestige Orchard Heights is a smaller facility so the staff is smaller and they all know the residents individually. They are able to build that relationship with them and that is golden when you are leaving your parents at a facility. We know that she is well taken care of and with people who really care.

For us, being new to senior living, it has been a learning curve. There were a lot of questions we didn't really know to ask and services we didn't know were potentially available. I would tell others to do your research and make sure you're finding out information ahead of time so it 's not such a shock after everything is said and done. But we've had a good experience at Prestige. It's clean. Everybody is very nice, and they are taking good are of my parents. My parents seem to love the food. They're just recently starting activities back up after Covid. They have several each day, and then on Mondays they go on road excursions. We were a little shell shocked by the cost, but I think that would be the case anywhere. We have no complaints regarding the care or the facility. If people financially can afford it, I would recommend Prestige.

I will be forever grateful for the careful and professional response Prestige took to manage the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Every person on the team at Beaverton Hills has been so careful and vigilant, so clearly aware of their grave responsibility in keeping the vulnerable residents safe, all the while managing their own safety out in the community at large. I know this has been stressful and difficult and I truly appreciate it. You are all very special people. Thank you for everything.

Staff members know residents by name almost immediately. They are always there to help our mother find her way, and suggesting she join activities.

So far things are going well for Mom. This was a very difficult transition for her. Staff at Auburn Meadows are wonderful at helping her adjust. Mom has good days and bad days. Auburn Meadows staff help her through them all. We have been very pleased.

The staff are very caring and friendly. The facility is very clean and well kept.

Very friendly but the food is not that good. Hit and miss. need a more experienced cook. It is no added sal but my mom has to supplement her diet with food in her room . They start to eat entrees at 4:00 and they run out of entrees. Nothing to be desired. She eats about 75% of the food. Day cook is inexperienced she doesn't know how to buy the right quantities. They have back up items like hot dogs, hamburgers. Overall its a nice facility. other than the food.

We looked at this when we were touring. It was very pretty, but it felt more like a hotel than someones home. Everyone was pleasant, and friendly. The food was really excellent. They just weren't as close to our house and wasn't the best fit for our personality.

I checked three places. Huntington Terrace had the happiest residents, the greatest amount of staff/resident involvement. It was the nicest, the cleanest, and the cheapest. Highly recommended.

We toured this place while looking into care options for our loved one. It was very clean, and the staff were all friendly. It wasn't the sort of care we were looking for for our loved one at the time, but it was still a very nice looking place.

Very nice community!! The problem was that they don't take Medicaid at all, ever, and we knew that eventually my parents would need to use Medicaid. The were out of the running, but not because we didn't like them!

We chose Five Rivers because it was close to my mother's house. It's in a very pastoral and lovely setting. It's beautiful inside and out. The grounds are well kept and the inside is elegant. The rooms are comfortable - it met our needs. I know there are a lot of activities available - they have shopping excursions, card playing, happy hour, entertainment... There were a coupld of times during the day when people didn't come in a timely fashion. I know they have a lot of people to take care of and meetings so there is not as much staff available. In a perfect world they would be there on the dot everytime but I don't think that happens in many places.

Building is a little dated but staff is great, meals are great. Apartments are pretty good sized and kept clean.
