We placed my Grandmother here as my sister and I are both Nursing Home Administrators in Seattle and felt that Emeritus was very warm and inviting. They took great care of my grandmother, preserving her dignity, treating her with love and encouraging her to do the things she loves - like singing. The staff is friendly, the building clean and the Director, Chris, is fantastic. I will recommend emeritus facilities to my own patients in Seattle, but Oak Ridge Emeritus has a special place in our family's heart. Much gratitude and respect.

My husband has been doing very well there this past week and enjoying his stay. Hope to have him home Sunday or Monday. Patricia

We are very well pleased. He is very content and has adjusted very well. There is only a maximum of 25 or so people and there are more men than women. The woman who cooks is a personal chef and cooks just as if she is at home, the food is homecooked not prepackaged. I really liked that it's all memory care so they are free to go where ever they want in the community.

From the first time we walked in the door, my wife and I knew it would be a perfect place for my 89 year old mother. Becoming blind late in life presents many barriers, but the marketing team and management staff let us know that type of disability would not be an issue for them. When the Director of Nursing came to our house to evaluate my mother, she really took her time and observed as well as interviewed her. The level of service needed was not above what we thought we needed and that was a pleasant surprise; for that is one way that the cost could be prohibitive for us. The move in was seamless, my mother transitioned well into her new living quarters and I didn't see her again for hours until I got tired sitting there and decided to leave. I found her downstairs participating in activities she hadn't done in four years. She has been there over two weeks and the activities for her are just right and she really does enjoy her new life. The proof was definitive when she called my wife and thanked her for finding such a wonderful place for her. We enjoy visiting and when the nursing staff see us, they immediately give us an update without being prompted. They truly are wonderful caretakers and it is obvious they love their jobs.

I think they are doing a great thing for mom. They give her really good care. It's clean and the people are friendly. It seems comparable in price to everything else out there. They give two choices for every meal, and they are real flexible. They have good well balanced meals. I wish they had more variety of activities, there is a lot of bingo. They do go on outings to eat or to shop, and they are flexible about taking her to the Y or to church, if she wants to go.

The Emeritus is a beautiful facility and was so welcoming!!!! The staff has been extremely helpful and they all have a caring/friendly attitude. My mom has not moved into her new home yet but I feel the Emeritus will be a safe and happy place for her. My family wanted a community that would offer a caring atmosphere so that mom would feel a sense of being with people that loved her and never be lonely. That being said, I am so thankful we were fortunate to receive a recommendation to visit Emeritus.

Everything here seems great so far! It's a nice looking place, and the staff have been very friendly and helpful. They seem like they're always on top of things with Dad's care needs, and they always get in touch with us immediately if any issues or problems come up. I will say that when we first moved him here they had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness, but it's really improved over time and I have no complaints now!

Sona was wonderful, had a great visit, just did not meet our needs regarding space and budget.

The conversation with the adviser was the push I needed to get by the task that I saw as over whelming. Carol broke down the communities according to our available funds and the facts of what I thought I was looking for. With her experience she help me to evaluate my criteria and recommended 6 properties. I toured half of the facilities and chose the little flower assisted living retirement facility.

I'm living at Clemmons Village and it's very nice, I've been here a few months, the food is wonderful, the care is very good and the social life is very nice. I haven't found any real fault, the only fault I have is changing my lifestyle. It's a nice place though and I'm not finding any fault with it. Of course I don't do as much as some of them do, they're getting them ready for a fall festival thing and they decorated all the doors and they're going to have some sort of carnival type thing, but they plan things out. It's well thought of in Winston-Salem and I've been treated very nicely. My room is very nice, they clean really well, they make sure you've got whatever you ring your bell for, it's very well thought of.

So far, I don't have any complaints. There is a fantastic activities director. They do all kinds of games. They have a lot of crafts, singing, dancing, people who volunteer from the area. A woman comes in and plays and instrument, like a guitar but it's not. And they do all old songs that the people know. When it's somebody's birthday they have entertainment and singing and dancing. Once a month they take them out to lunch and I go with them. The only thing I think they could improve on is I think they need more staff.

Minor setback with not currently accepting medicaid, but director believes that within 1-11/2 yrs they will have issues ironed out by state of nc. Great feeling for good quality in all areas of evaluation and pricing is actually best yet. Talked to mrs Wildman, met other staff, got good vibes from overhearing resident comments and seeing warious interactions. Good level of participation and nice to see several suites with residents 'visiting' after lunch.

Excellent facility. Would definitely consider this facility for my mother when the time comes. The director was a great tour guide and knew the staff very well. Very clean and professional.

The Groves has a very pleasant, caring staff. The facilities are nice and my mother is happy here. The nursing staff is good. [Name removed] is excellent. The food quality could stand improvement. I think the kitchen staff does well with what they are provided.

They pay attention to mom, and are kind and patient with her. They respond quickly when she pushes her emergency button. The first thing we noticed when we visited was that the facility felt homelike and friendly. There were always residents and staff in the hallways. Basically I appreciate the consistent and positive care mom receives.

Based on my virtual tour, everything looked okay here. My one concern was how much the executive director had on her plate. She seemed to be very dedicated and loyal. She was very patient, engaging, and knowledgeable. And she answered all of my questions. But she did so many things, what would happen if she weren’t there? That seemed like a lot for one person to manage. When I addressed that with her, she said she felt good about that, because to her that means quality control. She can observe everything and handle anything that comes up accordingly.

When we were able to go in the community and visit it was always kept clean, and the friendliness of the staff members is always good. Sometimes our loved one does complain about the food, but when it comes to the activities she really enjoys getting out of her room and participating in them.
