The staff was very friendly. I was greeted immediately. They took time to learn what Mom's needs were and even though assisted living may not be what were looking for right now, they were able to offer other services that might be of benefit while trying to look for the right fit. They explained about vacation/respite care that could be utilized. They helped me see what our options were. Staff was friendly with the Residents and new them by name. They were professional and courteous. The atmosphere was pleasing and comfortable as well.

I would recommend the Gardens of Statesville!. The staff is very friendly. It has been a great experience. This is a great community. I am glad that my mother is well taken care of and happy. This place is wonderful.

We toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. Brookdale Concord South was top of the line, just a very nice place overall. The facility itself was well kept and clean, and the staff were friendly and professional. I was very impressed by the tour, and the residents here all looked well taken care of and happy.

Our experience with Ivy Hall has been a very good one. We had somewhat of a unique situation, and they were great about reaching out to us to let us know they were willing to help. They've been very caring and accommodating throughout the whole process.

The residents are just real friendly to my mother and make her feel comfortable. The nursing staff takes really good care of her. My mother has done just really well at Emeritus at Oak Ridge. I am glad I selected it.

The staff is very friendly and strive to make their residents and their families happy. Following breakfast until dinner there are several activities that they can do. Residents seem to be happy and are very close to each other. They have a special program for Dementia, so when it becomes necessary my Mother's special needs will be addr essed. We are pleased that we chose Emeritus as the place for our Mother to live

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, and it was located very conveniently for us! However, we felt that our loved one would do better in a smaller community. However, they are certainly worth a look if you are looking into senior living in the area!

My aunt and uncle stay there. It's real expensive. Care varies with who is on shift. Sometimes at night my aunt needs to get up, and it often takes two people to get it up, and sometimes there aren't two people there. They seem to be short of help, especially and on weekends. They always have activities going on. The location is really great for us, because it is five minutes from where we live. The food is not the greatest in the world; food quality varies and is not consistent. They rotate cooks.

I like several things. First, they offer assisted living, but you only get it if you need, meaning that if you just need certain services, you get them, and if you need more, you get more. I like that we don't have to bring in our own assisted living person, but another facility we looked at required that. My uncle doesn't need 24/ 7 care; he just needs a watchful. At some point my uncle may need memory care, and I'm very satisfied. One of the nice benefits, particularly for my family, is that uncle's sister lives nearby and can see him on a daily basis.

It’s a small community so it’s very personalized. Someone who has dementia – the personalized care is important. You can visit 24-7 – it doesn’t matter who is on call – they’re all very friendly and personable.

We placed my Grandmother here as my sister and I are both Nursing Home Administrators in Seattle and felt that Emeritus was very warm and inviting. They took great care of my grandmother, preserving her dignity, treating her with love and encouraging her to do the things she loves - like singing. The staff is friendly, the building clean and the Director, Chris, is fantastic. I will recommend emeritus facilities to my own patients in Seattle, but Oak Ridge Emeritus has a special place in our family's heart. Much gratitude and respect.

My husband has been doing very well there this past week and enjoying his stay. Hope to have him home Sunday or Monday. Patricia

We are very well pleased. He is very content and has adjusted very well. There is only a maximum of 25 or so people and there are more men than women. The woman who cooks is a personal chef and cooks just as if she is at home, the food is homecooked not prepackaged. I really liked that it's all memory care so they are free to go where ever they want in the community.

From the first time we walked in the door, my wife and I knew it would be a perfect place for my 89 year old mother. Becoming blind late in life presents many barriers, but the marketing team and management staff let us know that type of disability would not be an issue for them. When the Director of Nursing came to our house to evaluate my mother, she really took her time and observed as well as interviewed her. The level of service needed was not above what we thought we needed and that was a pleasant surprise; for that is one way that the cost could be prohibitive for us. The move in was seamless, my mother transitioned well into her new living quarters and I didn't see her again for hours until I got tired sitting there and decided to leave. I found her downstairs participating in activities she hadn't done in four years. She has been there over two weeks and the activities for her are just right and she really does enjoy her new life. The proof was definitive when she called my wife and thanked her for finding such a wonderful place for her. We enjoy visiting and when the nursing staff see us, they immediately give us an update without being prompted. They truly are wonderful caretakers and it is obvious they love their jobs.

I think they are doing a great thing for mom. They give her really good care. It's clean and the people are friendly. It seems comparable in price to everything else out there. They give two choices for every meal, and they are real flexible. They have good well balanced meals. I wish they had more variety of activities, there is a lot of bingo. They do go on outings to eat or to shop, and they are flexible about taking her to the Y or to church, if she wants to go.

The Emeritus is a beautiful facility and was so welcoming!!!! The staff has been extremely helpful and they all have a caring/friendly attitude. My mom has not moved into her new home yet but I feel the Emeritus will be a safe and happy place for her. My family wanted a community that would offer a caring atmosphere so that mom would feel a sense of being with people that loved her and never be lonely. That being said, I am so thankful we were fortunate to receive a recommendation to visit Emeritus.

Everything here seems great so far! It's a nice looking place, and the staff have been very friendly and helpful. They seem like they're always on top of things with Dad's care needs, and they always get in touch with us immediately if any issues or problems come up. I will say that when we first moved him here they had a bit of an issue with the cleanliness, but it's really improved over time and I have no complaints now!

Sona was wonderful, had a great visit, just did not meet our needs regarding space and budget.
