My loved one is very happy in this community. The administrator is also great. The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The food is great and they have lots of activities for the residents. I would recommend this community to others based on my experience.

It's nice and small, so you get to see a lot of the residents. The other residents are happy there and have good things to say about the facility. The director is phenomenal. I go there almost daily, and every time I go she puts on whatever hat is needed for the task at hand, whether it's fixing my dad's recliner or remote, or anything at all. I also have to give credit to the the head nurse. They communicatee so well with me, and I have 100% ease with my dad being there. It was a hard decision for me. But the day-to-day care has been very good. The staff are friendly and very involved with the residents. They've called me a couple of times when needed. I'm very pleased with them. I like seeing their interactions, and they all started calling my dad by his name within a short period of time. It's an older place and needs some updating. The outside is beautiful, but inside the wallpaper is dated and the dining room furniture is dated. The director was starting to talk about renovations, but then that got shut down due to Covid. Everything is kept clean, but some things are just a little older. Overall, it's been great, and I've been very pleased with the value.

We had a loved one here several years ago, and another one now. It's a nice place. It's clean and has a good environment. I feel my loved is secure there, and well looked after. Everybody there is very friendly. They have a lot of long-term employees, with less turnover than other facilities I've been to. They're always asking me if there's anything they can do. My loved one tells me she loves the food. Because of Covid, activities have been difficult. But they're at least trying, and things are starting to open up more. The cost is high, but in comparison to everything else, it's right in line.

The community is very clean and the friendliness of the staff members are exceptional. They are taking great care of our loved in in assisted living and really making sure she is comfortable. We have heard no complaints about the food, and if there is something the residents don't like they are flexible and accommodating and will make something else. The activities are coming back, and they handled the covid situation extremely well/ They kept the residents engaged and are now taking them on weekly bus tours. We also think the value for cost is great.

the community is doing very good but I will tell you to always pop in unannounced and see how they are doing. The community is very clean and neat. I would recommend this community to others based on our experience.

We toured this community and it was very nice. The staff was very friendly and they answered all of our questions. the only issue was they do not have a memory care unit.

They're wonderful. There's a sense of security and peace knowing that your loved one is being seen to as a whole person and not just a person in a group. Their individual needs seem to be important. The staff is exemplary. They know your name. They recognize your voice when you call on the phone. And they make you feel important. It's very clean there, and there's a pleasant scent, which really struck me since a lot of time in care facilities that's not always the case. It feels like a well kept home. They're always responsive to care needs. There was one incident where my loved one needed some attention to grooming- some hair removal from the face and nail trimming. But as soon as I asked, they took care of it right away.

I am so happy with the choice of community we picked. It is a smaller community, this allows the staff to give more individualized attention to the residents. They know who I am and who my loved one is when I call. The apartment for my loved one is big and bright. The community is currently going through an update of decor.

They have been very kind, very friendly, and very accommodating. Anything I've asked for they've given. It's been a little bit difficult with Covid, but they just opened back up for visiting. Going up to my loved one's room, it's just a very nice environment. The care here has been wonderful, better than I thought it would be. There has been consistent staff for the memory care unit, and they're wonderful to my loved one. The food looks and smells really good - one day I saw a big juicy cheeseburger, another day it was ham with mac and cheese, cauliflower, and sweet potato casserole. I've seen a monthly activities calendar posted. Today there was an egg hunt, and they offer things like bingo, movies, etc.

Due to the covid restrictions the activities were pretty minimal, and we did not get much feedback about the meals at the facility. What we did like about the Rivercrest is how nice everyone was, they were just super. Also we knew the administrator before coming to this community, and that made the transition much more easier and a really good experience.

The Perfect Place in the City of Decatur for your Love Ones to Live Nestled in and hidden amongs the trees is a wondeful fine place with excellent customer service from the manager , medical staff, chief, maintenance, and support staff is Medlock Gardens. a wonderful palce for your love ones that has daily activiries, comouterroom, salon, outside garden with firepit, art and crafts, along with weekly movie night served with popcorn.

The grounds of the community are very pretty, and the staff members are very friendly. We have not seen the meals they serve the residents because of the covid restrictions but our loved one does sometime complain about the food, and we are also unsure if they are offering any activities at the time, our loved one has not mentioned anything.

We think the value is perfect and the residents can play ladder ball, and balloon volleyball. They can make muffins and they have winter celebrations and Christmas celebrations. For Halloween they had a costumer party, and the residents can play board games on the back patio.

We are very pleased with the value of the community and we are totally pleased with the Athens Place community overall. The rooms they provide for the residents are very nice.

My dad lived in a few communities before moving to St.Ives in March 2018. I used to worry every day, all day about my dad and the care he was or was not getting. From the very first day of him living in St. Ives, I have not had to worry at all! I am grateful every day that my dad lives at St. Ives and for [name removed] and her amazing Care staff. During this crazy covid-19 and I know he is in the best place, is well taken care of, and safe.

From start to finish, Ivy Hall has been customer service friendly and caring for our mother. The accommodations and care has been top notch. We highly recommend Ivy Hall for your family.

Our mom got sick and had to spend a month in rehab. After she was released, we weren’t able to take care of her around the clock. It was such a comfort when we found Ivy Hall. We searched for a place with a good reputation and was also affordable. The staff truly cares for our mom and asks us how they can provide for all her needs. Our mom doesn’t speak English very well and yet the staff take the time to understand what she needs. The maintenance person even labeled the TV control with the station number for the Korean channel so our mom is able to watch her Korean dramas. They take the time to call us when they aren’t able to communicate with her. The Ivy Hall creates a home environment and our mom seems very comfortable at her new home. The professional healthcare providers ensure our mom stays healthy. The staff offered to FaceTime with our mom so we can see each other during the coronavirus social distancing time. It is such a comfort to know our mom is well taken care as though she is part of the family (we live five hours from Atlanta). We recommend Ivy Hall to anyone looking for an assisted living facility for their loved ones.

When my family and I had the difficult task of finding an assisted-living facility for my mother. I didn't think there would ever be one to suit my high standards. I was wrong. The staff at Ivy have been like an extended family to us and I am elated that we made this choice for my mom. Best of the best hands down+
