My brother died in their facility in less than 24 hours after being admitted. He was very ill. Right after he died, staff removed and disposed of all his belongings except for the wallet and TV that a friend of his found and took. My brother's laptop with all his documents was stolen, and all his clothes, bed linens, and more were missing. My brother had very few possessions, but Staff should have placed all my brother's belongings in keeping for me, his only remaining family. I would never recommend this facility to another family.

A year ago my brother was admitted to Villa Court Assisted Living, Pearl St., Las Vegas upon his discharge from the hospital. We had to find an assisted living facility before I was scheduled to leave LAs Vegas to return home. Villa Court accommodated my brother in a very stripped-down semi-private room until a private room became available. Sadly, my brother died [date removed], the day after I left Las Vegas. A friend who lived in Las Vegas came to Villa Court to retrieve my brother’s personal belongings. Upon his arrival, our friend found only my brother’s wallet and a TV. His clothes, new bed linens, and his laptop were missing. We contacted the facility; they did not know what happened to my brother’s belongings. I contacted Villa Court several times to follow up. They were not responsive. This is a very uncaring and unprofessional way for Villa Court to treat their residents, especially at end-of-life. I would NEVER recommend Villa Court as a place for any loved family member.

Head nurse at assisted living is beyond horrible!! Lazy and accusatory. The rest are helpful when you can get them to come help. Meds are not dispensed in proper time and were brought at a different time each day. Skilled nursing has been much better. Much more on top of things there. Unassisted is not bad other than food is sometimes an experience. Cereal brought with no milk or milk with no cereal. Things like that.

My wife has lived in the memory care facilty for a couple of years. I have seen people come and go . No matter what time of the night I show up [name removed] always very kind and helpful. I really appreciate her kindness. Night shift is very kind and caring. The only problem I have is when I visit day shift they are rude and always complaining how they don't get paid enough. I understand but I don't won't to hear about it when I visit during the day. One caregiver is always outside smoking and smells like cigarettes when she returns. I pay alot of money for my wife to stay here and I don't think it is right she has to smell the smoke on this lady. Very concerned

The old wellness director was so amazing this place ran smoothly and was always cleaned and the residents were taken care of very well! Now with the new wellness director this place is a complete joke! The management is horrible they have favorite employees that don’t even come to work and do their job. They are very unprofessional rude! Day shift leaves this place all dirty and it stinks when you walk in the door! It’s not fair to the people who come to work and do their job night shift was the best! Always helpful and professional. The residents are amazing.

It's ashamed how much money I spend here and this place is a mess. Night shift caregivers are genuinely nice and helpful. Takes very good care of my mom. Day shift need to get there stuff together. Always gossip and never come to work. I know because I visit frequently. We need [name removed] back !!! The new Wd is not engaged with the residents or helpful.

The facility's leadership has worsened under the current Executive Director, who was hired two years ago. Key issues include: • Inexperienced staff hired to dispense medications and care for residents. • High staff turnover and excessive overtime for remaining staff, leading to burnout and compromised care. • Memory care residents left unsupervised, leading to unsafe conditions such as missed meals and physical altercations. • Critical safety concerns are ignored, including a backed-up sewage line in the kitchen, where food was still being served to residents. • No nurse on-site, with the facility relying on a nurse of record for compliance purposes only. This facility's failure to provide even the most basic level of care places residents at severe risk of harm or worse. I cannot stress enough the urgency of avoiding this facility if you care for the well-being of your loved one. I earnestly pray for the individuals at this facility.

If you care about the overall well-being of your loved one, you do NOT want to bring them to this facility. This facility is understaffed, unprofessional, incompetent. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE! Your loved one's life depends on it.

[name removed] the old wellness Director was caring and loved the residents. The facility always ran smooth and was clean and smelled good when she worked there. Why do you keep running off good people. She loved the residents and always kept in touch with all of the families. We need the old wellness Director with the cute braids back. We love her and need her for our parents . The caregivers are wonderful at night especially [name removed]and [name removed]

This place would be a 0 if I could. Terrible experience for our family. They lost my dad three times! One time they even said he “jumped the fence!” How could someone who is so weak do that? The staff was awful. They will do/say anything to cover up for themselves. The residents in here deserve better. Please don’t send your loved ones here, you will regret it.

My Sister has been in memory care for three months and they called said we had to move her. No previous warnings. Very upset Please do not put your love one in their care. Very expensive. Would be willing to visit with anyone before you chose River Point

Do not go there. Staff hurt my mom. Didn't manage medication and care. Dropped her out of wheel chair onto concrete. She died a day later.

No activity's, NO activity director, CNA care 4, toilets horrible but I believe the city fixed the issue to to the state evaluating, cost ridiculous, food 1, my Dad didn't like I brought him food many nights.,care 2 thank god my dad was on hospice because hospice staff showered him. Not recommend.

My loved one was previously a resident at Park Place Assisted Living and I would not recommend this facility to anyone. I don't think that my loved one ever got her medications properly and her room was always in need of cleaning. They hire teenagers to care for elderly people. I asked a few of them if they knew CPR and out of 4 of them, none did. One asked me what it was!

My Dad had so many complaints: I don't think the facility had adequate staff to address his issues. He wasn't assisted properly. We paid [fee removed] just to get him in; also the monthly fee of over [fee removed] . Within one month he contracted COVID there and died on [date removed] alone. I haven't addressed it but I feel they should return the [fee removed] . He had to be tested for COVID prior to being accepted into the program and died one month and a day later by being exposed and contracted COVID!

Marla vista assisted living on military is not the place to work nor should u send your love ones to live there. Staff suck and they lazy and don’t care about the residents. They never have enough staff to help the residents. The ones who can’t do much for themselves get treated the worst. Management is awful and very disrespectful and never handles business. Marketing puts on a front while doing tours of the buildings. The facility is dirty especially memory care. If you ask me the place needs to be shut down. The food is trash and keeps the residents and staff sick and [removed]. Be aware of this place they definitely put on a good show. 0/10 rating

Based on the experience we have had so far, the areas we think they need improvements on would be their medical evaluation process. The needs to drastically improve. Our loved one needed a higher degree of care than they could provide, but they decided to take her anyways.

Horrible experience… found front entrance unattended and door to street wide open at 10 pm? Management out of Santa Maria, Ca managing the Ventura, Ca location currently. No on-site person. Unfortunately …. “the check is in the mail” still have not received our $[removed] deposit? My father never spent one day or night in the Lexington Ventura, CA Beware would not recommend

I believe that they were understaffed and under trained. The overall experience was horrible. If I had the resources and time I would have looked into a possible lawsuit against the community. My loved one feel twice while they were in the community. I truly believe both could have been prevented.

Don't take anyone there. There is no privacy, caregivers take young children there on weekends and have them go with them to change patients. They give you cold sandwich for dinner. Medication was not given on time. I had to clean the room and bathroom because in the month and a half that we were there it was only cleaned once. We had ants and water bugs. Much more to say but it was a horrible experience.
