The Inwood crossing was not welcoming at all. When we first arrived, we had to wait for a while to be let in the because they couldn't get the gate open. As soon as we walked in, the place did not have a welcoming, positive atmosphere. There were a bunch of residents wondering around in on room. We walked out before the tour guide showed up, this place was not what we were looking for at all.

Dismal environment. Areas Smelled of body odor. Little or no activity of assisted living residents. Not a good fit. On way out they handed us loose pieces of paper. No folder or organization of materials like other places. No business card. Way to expensive for services.

When my husband and I arrived for our scheduled tour no one greeted us. There was no one at the desk and I wandered around the facility to try to find someone. A few members of the staff saw me but did nothing. I finally stopped a staff member and she gave us a quick tour. The environment seemed very depressing and none of the current residents had a smile on there face they all were very quiet. Never heard from them again.

They took very good care of mom and dad in the beginning and while dad died of cancer. After dad's death they did a very bad job with mom. They did not follow Hospice's advice in turning mom and medicine administration. When my mom was at [Removed] they were actually healing mom's pressure wound and at Cottonwood it got so extremely bad [Removed]. If they do not have the expertise nor time to handle the situation, they should be honest with the family so we can find the proper help for our loved ones.

New company the Ensign Group took over ownership and management a year ago. Facility is run down and never really clean. Revolving door of administrators and caregivers with six administrators in two years. Food is awful most days and only good on days the part time cook prepares meals. Residents are not getting what they pay for. We had a family member with dementia living there, and she was not getting anything to eat. Because of her dementia, she did not know to go to the dining room, and the caregivers did not bring her to the dining room and they should have. We moved her to Felician Village and could not be happier. Ensign Group is all about money and not the well being of the residents. Had an administrator there for several months that was doing an excellent job but the company fired her for not admitting or keeping residents that needed more care than Harbor View can provide.

Would not recommend to anyone expecting quality care for their loved one or respect from the staff and management.

This facility used to be a nice place until new management took over. The nurses are overworked, there are no care staff to meet the needs of the residents. many medication errors. The activity program has been cut in half. All for the almighty dollar.

The owners of this place are in it for the money. They treat these residents like they're children! The food is SO HORRIBLE ~ yet complaints are IGNORED! I ate there last night, with my dad. The soup was room temperature, and cold within minutes. The fish was not even room temperature & tasted like it was boiled. The water coming from the tap smells like SEWER!! Dad is 92. They know he's not moving. They don't care about the people living here ~ NO MATTER WHAT THEY TELL YOU! It's so sad. Dad has gone from 125 lbs to 92 lbs in 2 yrs.

Mom's been there a month. So far we are pleased. They have had to make adjustments for her. She can't swallow solid food.

Our mother is doing great at Lexington. The staff is very caring and friendly to the residents. They are also very efficient in their care.

Our mother is a 5 year resident. Since meridian purchased this family owned facility it has had issues with keeping employees and a director. I believe in 2 years they have been thru 4 directors. There is no communication with family. All written and verbal communication is ignored. The food is of poor quality. The cleanliness of rooms is suspect. My mothers room has had roaches and mice infestation. As an example after Christmas 2014 i returned and discovered dead mice stuck to sticky paper. Who knows how long it was there. The activities described do not occur. As I'm aware lunch bunch does not go anywhere. My experience is not positive. They do not care about my loved one. I'm looking for another home for my 90 year old mother but changes can be difficult. I would not recommend this home to anyone until things change.

Facility was in poor condition and not a place for us. Foul odor and rooms only come as efficiencies. Presenter was excellent.

I have nothing good to say. It was a nightmare for my father. Inept staff that I had to fight with everyday to get adequate help

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I met a storm trooper there, and she has bullied us since we moved in. They insisted, that we hire angel care, so we did and they couldn't help us but still charged us. We have to pass inspection before we are allowed to turn in the keys. I feel like they have pushed to get us to move out since we have got there, well we are leaving. They keep adding on things without asking us. We have never gotten a bill for what they said it would be. They say they are going to do things that don't need to be done, and charge us for it, like an escort to meals. This wasn't a great experience.

Our mom has been there for almost 2 years. When we first talked to them, we told them our mom's money will run out in almost 2 years. They told us that is not a problem they take in county aid residents. Well her money ran out and they told us they have no openings for county aid, they were at their limit and that we would have to pay the extra $1000.00 per month that the county doesn't pay. Needless to say we are moving her out. They got all her money and now she is no longer good enough for them. So beware, if you put your loved one there, get it in writing that they can stay after their money runs out. The care she received was very good, room needs updating, Activity Directors are great. If you loved one has dimentia, not a place I would choose.

Good price but dismal memory care facility. Definite NO for dementia patient. Would recommend for assisted or independant living.

Did not find this place very cheerful. Inside was very dull/boring. Low ceilings. One of the rooms she showed me smell of smoke.. Carpets were dirty. Gardening area was not kept up!

Food low quality and always cold; a resident will lay after fallen for hours before someone coming to help. Homeless people coming into facility. No security. Items missing from my aunt's room. My aunt was traumatized after laying in her own blood for hours after she fell

Our family had a horrific experience, everything from top to bottom needs improvement. The director could admit she is the director and not lie to families. They could have nursing staff who actually attend to the residents and not leave them sitting in dirty and soiled clothes for hours on end. They could not have call lights going on 24/7. They could serve the residents with warm food, but only when they actually remember to serve the residents.

Madison Pointe is a very unprofessional and bad place. The care was terrible. They gave the wrong dosage of insulin to my loved one. They refused him prescribed medications. They didn't attend to him at all. He was only there a week before I got him out of there. When you interview them initially, they answer all of the questions correctly. But when we got into the facility, what we experienced was the exact opposite. They also surprised me with significant charges that I was never informed about beforehand. Overall it was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend it for anyone.
