I would rate a 4 for the ease of getting my mom into the assisted living facility. From when we did our tour to filling out paperwork and the help of [name removed] and the rest of the staff. It took about 2 months to get availability to move in. She shares a room and bathroom. It is adequate for her needs. Our main priority was her comfort and having someone around to watch her 24 hours.

Like everybody, nobody wants to be here but like me I have to be here to be safe. The caregivers really care about the residence. The management listens you might not get the answer you want but at least they listen and if they can do it, they will make it happen. The Activity Director here is amazing. Keeps us busy. Keep us laughing, so I am very glad. My daughters found this place for me to live in.

Facility couldn't have been better. Always clean and well kept. Staff friendly and helpful. Very responsive to our needs.

What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of all staff and residents, the ease of getting them where they need to go, that Heritage has a driver to take them to appts, that drs will come to the facility as well. They like the food and have each gained about 10-15lbs, which my Mother in Law needed to gain weight per her Dr.

I have had a good experience with staff on my end but, I am in NY. My brother is just ok with the experience. Food is good as is size of his one bedroom. Staff treats him well. They do provide some transportation.

The room is large, recently renovated, clean, quiet. The activities are good, food is great. The only real issue I have is that I feel they are understaffed, especially in memory care. Only one person on duty at any given time. That means if one resident needs special assistance lasting more than a few minutes then everyone else is ignored. There isn't a good system for keeping track of clothing so everyone is wearing everyone else's clothes, but that doesn't bother me too much Overall, it's been a positive experience for my brother and me. Since my mother has dementia, it has been terrifying for her but that's to be expected anywhere she would go. I want to stress that the Lexington is an excellent facility that is a good value. Not top of the range but you get more than you pay for, in my opinion.

my mom mainly stays in her room and doesn't participate in activities. She says there are long waits to get served in the dining room, and often complains about the food. Sorry, but this just may be her opinion. I don't know. The staff seem nice enough, but I will say there is a big turnover which just may be the way this industry is; I have nothing to compare it to. I do feel the staff that she deals with appear to be kind and supportive, and caring.

The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and the staff are generally kind. It is a suitable option for seniors who are fully independent and primarily need a safe and comfortable living environment. The activities calendar is active, and residents who thrive on social engagement will likely find plenty to do. That said, this facility is not well-suited for anyone who requires regular assistance with daily living tasks (bathing, mobility support, medication management, etc.). While staff are available, the level of care is limited and better described as supportive rather than assisted. Families should not consider this as an option for seniors who are not fully independent.

You need to have a follow up contact to check up on your relative, especially if you do not live close by.

The staff is extremely helpful and they do work with people on a budget. They care more about the patients than the financial gain which we loved about the facility. Plus, it's very easy for the old folks to make friends when they get there. My mother-in-law made fast friends with a lot of people there and they made it easy for everybody to connect.

They didn't do any activities so I can't rate that for them. They didn't care for the food.. not many varieties to chose from they said. We were there mainly because it was close to me and they had the earliest opening.

food and air heating issues. They never answer or return calls. run out of basics often. Low variety and quality. nice director. A lot of the same activities. Need a variety to stop monotony. It's a reasonably priced place. I would not refer anyone who needs a high level of care to Villa Court

Mom can't have tomatoes. Lot of meals with tomato ?? Bingo is too fast for her. She still like it there. Except for a couple of things, I would recommend this place. The rooms are are spacious and empty. You bring your own items. Shower has built in seat. Cramp for a chair with arm handles. The facility is a great community feel. No one has a negative attitude toward their care.

Administrative staff was approachable and tried to improve things in spite of staff turnover. They visited all the residents. And they seemed to care.

What we like the most about the community is that it has a family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food needs significant improvement. [name removed] is exceptional.

This is a decent facility. Amazing staff! My mother is very happy there. They have replaced the chef so we will see if it improves, more staff cleaning is needed.

Breakfast is my only food thing that I would say is faulty. They serve bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs and hashbrowns every single day and they serve pancakes, which I do not eat and they do not fix waffles anymore. They used to fix waffles no more they need more variety and breakfast other than the bacon and eggs and hashbrowns. I don't think that our population needs that every single morning occasionally they have a muffin or something , but I have to have something in my refrigerator that I will eat instead of that bacon and eggs every day, the other meals are pretty good and I can have a substitute if I want can eat, which I cannot eat certain foods because I'm unable to eat because of my disabilities.

Wisteria Place had multiple levels of care that fit our needs. One of my in-laws was able to stay in rehab while her husband was able to move into an apartment on the same grounds. They have both since taken residence in the apartment and we are happy with the service and level of care. The cost is reasonable and we are happy with our choice.

I just moved my great uncle in last month and he loves this place, staff and community members. He says the meals are decent and portions plentiful. It isn’t a hassle signing him in/out to go places with family but there are measures in place where he just doesn’t wonder off unsupervised in the world. [name removed] made the transition smooth for us as this is the first time dealing with this sort of thing. Also there is a lot of vets here and my uncle being ex army medic fitted right in with his war stories along with so many others. I feel they really care about the seniors here and all the staff here are so friendly and welcoming from the front desk to housekeeping, nurses and chefs and just everyone I’ve made contact with. My uncle does an exercise class every morning before breakfast, they keep a full schedule of activities for your loved one to partake in. I invite all to at least take a tour if looking to place someone especially a veteran.

There was a definite adjustment period. It was not smooth sailing in the beginning. I figured out face-to-face meetings got things accomplished.
