Mom can't have tomatoes. Lot of meals with tomato ?? Bingo is too fast for her. She still like it there. Except for a couple of things, I would recommend this place. The rooms are are spacious and empty. You bring your own items. Shower has built in seat. Cramp for a chair with arm handles. The facility is a great community feel. No one has a negative attitude toward their care.

Administrative staff was approachable and tried to improve things in spite of staff turnover. They visited all the residents. And they seemed to care.

What we like the most about the community is that it has a family atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food needs significant improvement. [name removed] is exceptional.

This is a decent facility. Amazing staff! My mother is very happy there. They have replaced the chef so we will see if it improves, more staff cleaning is needed.

Breakfast is my only food thing that I would say is faulty. They serve bacon and eggs or sausage and eggs and hashbrowns every single day and they serve pancakes, which I do not eat and they do not fix waffles anymore. They used to fix waffles no more they need more variety and breakfast other than the bacon and eggs and hashbrowns. I don't think that our population needs that every single morning occasionally they have a muffin or something , but I have to have something in my refrigerator that I will eat instead of that bacon and eggs every day, the other meals are pretty good and I can have a substitute if I want can eat, which I cannot eat certain foods because I'm unable to eat because of my disabilities.

Wisteria Place had multiple levels of care that fit our needs. One of my in-laws was able to stay in rehab while her husband was able to move into an apartment on the same grounds. They have both since taken residence in the apartment and we are happy with the service and level of care. The cost is reasonable and we are happy with our choice.

I just moved my great uncle in last month and he loves this place, staff and community members. He says the meals are decent and portions plentiful. It isn’t a hassle signing him in/out to go places with family but there are measures in place where he just doesn’t wonder off unsupervised in the world. [name removed] made the transition smooth for us as this is the first time dealing with this sort of thing. Also there is a lot of vets here and my uncle being ex army medic fitted right in with his war stories along with so many others. I feel they really care about the seniors here and all the staff here are so friendly and welcoming from the front desk to housekeeping, nurses and chefs and just everyone I’ve made contact with. My uncle does an exercise class every morning before breakfast, they keep a full schedule of activities for your loved one to partake in. I invite all to at least take a tour if looking to place someone especially a veteran.

There was a definite adjustment period. It was not smooth sailing in the beginning. I figured out face-to-face meetings got things accomplished.

The facility was clean and cheery. The care staff were great and very personable, helpful, and caring. The administration in the facility could be more accessible.

My sister and I were satisfied at the beginning of my Mothers stay there. At the end we were very disappointed! I was there they didn't have anyone there to give medication. They need quality care for their residence. They had assured me they could take care of my Mom under hospice care. It was certainly not what I expected. No one checked on her for over 6 hours even after I called several times. I day there was only one girl for the while place!

This community is very pretty and homey. It sets along the river in Kerrville. The caregivers have experience in caregiving & seem to care about their residents. I have visited this community several times and feel confident that my loved one would be well cared for at River Point.

SMT is a very fine asst living home for residents. The staff could not be better. They attend to allow needs with their best attraction. They also make a point of finding new activities for and pleasure. I have new lived here for 5 years! Thank you for your attention.

This facility is good. I really like [names removed] They are the greatest. Very kind.

They have raised the price 2 years in a row, $[removed] each year! It's getting very hard to pay for in my situation. It always seems clean whenever I'm there, it doesn't smell like I've experienced in other facilities and my Mom raves about how good the food is, they seem to have a great chef! I think It really is a great place overall. It's just getting more expensive like everything else.

As council president I field a lot of issues involving residents. Most complain about cost and lack of some service like medical or the food. I work with all staff as much as possible if I can find them. Service in dining is sometimes slower than need be. I hear complaints occasionally about care givers has of response to the call button at night and weekends.

We need more coherent people to talk with and play games with. Better care of garden roses ect. We need a new bus so we can go to more places like beach to enjoy our surrounding areas. Activity to improve and to have activity person to attend and stay with us are be on time and prepared.

I guess I would say that it is really difficult to find a facility that is going to give your lived one the care they need. As a family member, you need to be prepared to be involved. It goes beyond just "visiting" your lived one. Call, ask questions, be on top of your lived ones needs. I appreciate that, at Mission Inn, the staff was always friendly and in communication with me. The only two negatives were that they were always understaffed in all areas, which made things so stressful for the staff that was there. It made it difficult for me to visit my mom after work because there wasn't always someone at the front desk to let me in. The other negative was the food. My mom and step father always complained about the quality of the food.

Only recommend if family able to be present to advocate for loved one. We are not sure if we would recommend this community to others. Depending on the person and family situation. It was our dad that was cedar hill.

My mom moved in [date removed]. She is very happy there. The staff are very caring and friendly. My mom really loves all the activities from the activities director, [name removed], she is awesome.

We had a great experience at Capitol Hill. I would highly recommend them. he thing we liked the most is they were always patient with the residents. We also thought they had a good schedule. But I think their schedule was similar to other places.
