Clean, great location, friendly staff, food is lacking. I would recommend to others.

We cannot rate the activities as our loved one never went to any. Mom moved out yesterday as she fell in the bathroom and started going down hill. She went on hospice. Got bed sores and was no longer appropriate for assisted living. She now lives in a group home.

Harvest Home is truly a HOME filled with caring people who make sure you are experiencing a comfortable, clean, compassionate day every day. I am surrounded by many choices for activities or whatever suits me to make my day joyful. A great choice for my remaining days.

When it comes to the care services, I had to be reminded more than once she must be watched taking her meds. They all complain about the food. Our loved one enjoys the music but not really a games or craft person. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to others.

There is always room for improvement, but the staff is always making the facilities spotless! Friendliness of the staff is a 5!! Smiling faces. Amazing attentive to residents, wonderful communication. Always something to do . They decorate for all seasons and holidays! Very comfortable and cheerful when you enter. The care my mother needs is same across the industry my decision was based on location to family which the housing cost is a bit more. Might add about Facility- they are NOT quick to repair/up grade but we would recommend Desert View to other families

The administrator works with both staff and residents to resolve any problems that could arise, and she is very fair And accessible. I feel there could be more activities, but it takes more staff and they do try hard . I feel the value is adequate.

What we like the most about Park Place is definitely the people and we would most definitely recommend this community to other families. My mom hated it but would've hated anywhere. The only thing I didn't like was there's several tables in different places for I think 6 people each. I would have preferred a large cafeteria area. My mom never would go sit with the others. They were really good during hospice also

My mother has been a resident for over two years. She has some non-major health issues that Harvest has been very helpful in assisting us with on occasion. Mother seems very happy and likes the staff. Rarely has any complaints to speak of regarding Harvest. I have found them to be very responsive to our needs regarding our Mother.

The facility is small and located in a neighborhood. So, it doesn't feel like a hotel or cruise ship setting. The location is on a quiet street. I like that the facility is gated. The staff always greet the residents by name and know them well. Dining is family style so nobody is left out. My dad loves to play Bingo!

We had a wonderful experience however with her new care location, Spring Arbor Cottage of Richmond. Overall we gave a 4 they went through TWO management transitions while Mom was there. 5 for care, possibly minus one for that uncertainty; especially given our experience with [community name removed]. Her condition improved considerably when her medication was adjusted after moving to [community name removed]. Their staff was well-trained and caring. They did not attempt to force Mom into activities she wasn't interested in... or shout at her for having dementia.

What stuck out most about Rockbrook initially when we were first looking was the cleanliness of the facility! That struck me most. My friend [name removed] praised the meals. He was a picky eater, so that was very important. The room sizes and amenities offered were just fine.

What our family likes about Desert View is the personnel and how very understanding and kind they are. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The staff and residents are very friendly and care about the residents. I liked the low number of residents at the facility it has more of a home feeling than an institution.

I was only there a few times to see my friend [name removed] From what I observed there - the people were kind, attentive and friendly - it always seemed clean - not sure about the physical therapy aspect - initially saw person very kindly coaxing [name removed] to stand up with assistance without having slip resistant socks on - on tile floor - she did stand / another time a physical therapy company came but did not want to wake her and said would come back - I wondered how often she received physical therapy knowing several factors can be involved / there was always an atmosphere of calmness in the place and the residents I observed seemed settled / overall I was pleased with what I observed, my only concern was concerning the physical therapy; thank you for asking

The residents and care staff are wonderful. Mom has a lovely apartment and we are afraid she won't handle a move. But at this point I probably wouldn't recommend it. Hopefully the "new direction" they are going with will have good results. Time will tell...

It's a hidden gem, everyone seems nice with the residents. Very comfortable first name basis. The studio and one bedrooms are like hotel rooms nice and spacious. The two bedrooms as well The do light housekeeping without charge that is a nice bonus They remind you to go eat incase they fall asleep May not be amenities but extremely helpful at their age

The biggest thing my aunt complains about is the food. They do not make the food in their own kitchen but instead have it delivered each meal. The menu is not much better than a school cafeteria, and even though the residents bring it up every month at the monthly meetings, nothing seems to get changed. The staff is very nice and my aunt is happy there except for the food. The building is old so there are things that have to be repaired in the apartments from time to time, but the handyman is very nice and helpful. The activities directed is wonderful. The director is nice.

Apartment is nice, just the right size. Meals are horrible...cooked in other building and brought over. Often cold. Salad, no salad dressing. Fruit is rare. No one seems to be in charge. Very short on staff. They do clean and do laundry.

I would tell a friend, it is not for anyone who is very sociable and wants a lot of activities. It is clean, cozy and comfortable, but most residents keep to themselves and there is not a lot to do. My mother would have hated it and wanted someplace nicer, more modern, with more youthful and intellectual activity options. For my family member, it's perfect. He doesn't like to socialize, keeps to himself, isn't interested in fancy, and doesn't need a lot of care. But his room is nice and private, he has a private bathroom, he has a great view of the hills, he isn't into food (but even he doesn't like the food), and it feels very cozy. It is way better than a residential home, which in my experience, are usually cluttered, not as clean, and have shared bathrooms. The staff interacts well with him and he likes it there just fine. However, when he got very sick (he has since recovered) and needed way more care, we entered him into hospice. They come onsite to help out and make sure he is getting what he needs. It is great that Park Place accepts hospice patients and he didn't have to move. But he is back to not needing much help and it's fine. I will say [names removed] were fantastic and worked with us on the pricing of additional care he needed temporarily to make it not prohibitive cost-wise. I love the two of them.

Villa Court did a good job for our friend. I asked how the food was and he said overall pretty good. The people were nice and other than that he didn't complain about anything else and that would be unusual.
