I really liked this facility and it is a lot smaller than other places. The only thing I didn’t like is that it wasn’t as bright and airy. I really liked the room they showed us and it is less expensive. The only reason why we did not pick this community is that they did not have a respite care bed ready for immediate move in. The staff was super nice and I was very pleased. I would recommend this facility to other families.

The Grove Care and Wellness My parents are residents in the assisted living facility at The Grove Care and Wellness. My step father had to be placed in the skilled nursing facility there and at the same time my mother was placed in home Hospice. The General Manager and his assistance made sure that my mother could remain there to be close to my step father while on hospice. Everyone there are the most compassionate people I ever met. My father remains there residing in the assisted living unit and likes it.

Both my father and mother were here. They received excellent care. The meals were good and our family was grateful for the kindness extended to our parents. If you want new and flashy - not the place for you. It was great for us. They were clean, fed and cared for. Thank you!

I had originally had my husband in a different home and he came here to Brookdale for rehabilitation for his hip and was there for about 6 weeks. After hearing numerous raving reviews from friends, I decided that this was where I wanted him to be. This community is within walking distance of me so it makes it so easy to be able to see him whenever I’d like to. All of the residents are friendly and cheerful. Some are unresponsive or disturbed, but the staff is so kind and knowledgeable so they know how to handle things properly. Everything is always so clean too. The staff does the residents’ laundry, they make his bed every morning, they spot clean each day, and do a thorough cleaning once a week as well. They take everyone on outings to places like the planetarium, which he loved. For the price you pay, which isn’t too expensive, you really get a great experience and I’m just thankful that Brookdale was able to take him in. I would definitely recommend this community.

There has been a big change with the Brookdale Oshkosh as they have sold out to Lake Pointe Villa as of June. But even with the ownership change, everything seems to be going well with the transition and my mother is doing great. The activities director is wonderful, there is always something going for the residence to do, in fact on the weekends they are always looking for more to do. Even with my mother being busy with her PT she finds time to join in the activies. I feel there no better place I would want my mother to be than here. Now the food is not quit to my mother's liking and she is hoping the new chef will be bringing in a new menu as well. Brookdale did not supply transportation for the residents so we are hoping that Lake Pointe villa's will. The staff is friendly, if I have a concern I have no problem finding someone to answer my questions and they stay in contact with me by phone as well. The New owners are making some nice changes and the staff is please as well.

I like this community for the care for my mom. We have been able to speak with staff on some improvements and that makes us know that they are always willing to make the improvement. The menu is very good and my mom likes the variety. The community is clean and we like knowing that she is busy with the activities. We would recommend this community for care.

Everything is pretty professional that this community provides and does for the the residents. I have no complaints about what I see when I am here twice a week. The community is always clean. I always see attendants through the facility. There is always some activity set up for the residents. They seem to have all their duck in line. I was able to negotiate the price that sealed the deal for me to move my mom in. Now she has a private apartment, over looking the lake. It is a nice community.

During my tour of the River Point, I thought it was a very nice place. The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful, they took me around the building and answered my questions. The facility was clean, it was a good experience.

The Brookdale Kenosha North was very nice, but it came down to my mother's personal decision. She liked the community but she wanted somewhere where there were more activities going on.

We really liked the Arbor House of Rockwall, it was a very nice place. They had a lot of great activities available and the people were very nice. I ended up choosing another community but this one was a top choice!

My sisters and I toured this facility for care for our mom, and we had a great experience, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, we are considering care here for our mom. and thank you [Removed] for showing us around your facility.

I am very happy with the way the staff at this community took care of my mother while she was there. The maintenance did a fantastic job keeping her room clean, nothing was ever out of place. They always returned her clothes back to her room and put them away for her, there was never any confusion. The food served was great! Very delicious and nutritious. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone,

I have visited my mom during lunch and looked at the menus. The meals sound good and my mother hasn't had any complaints about the taste. I would recommend this community to friends and family. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are various activities offered, my mother likes to engage in some of them. It's a small place giving it a home feeling.

I am absolutely happy with the care here. The food is good from the dinning room but I mostly make my own food. I have suitable amenities to prepare and make my meals. The staff come to my room to dump trash and they keep the community clean. There is a few activities and I get to play cards or sit with residents and talk. They have a few different Sunday services and I'm going to check some out. My daughters were also impressed with the help from A Place For Mom.

My mother is a resident at Arbor House in Lewisville - my sister and I have been so very happy since our Mom moved here in September of 2015. We feel in love with the idea of the neighborhoods. The staff is amazing, they are all so caring. Everyone really gets to know each resident. It does not feel like a locked memory care facility - this was very important for our Mom. It really feels like a home, like living in a neighborhood. The activities are great and the residents seem to really enjoy this - lots of socialization goes on and this is very important. When I started looking for options for my Mom Arbor House kept coming up - As soon as I visited I had a good feeling about the place.

Arbor House of Temple, Texas is outstanding in it's care for seniors with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other disabling problems. Caregivers and all staff members are the best. Facilities are of top quality.

I am so happy I chose Arbor House for my mom. The staff and housing are so helpful and the transition for mom has been very gentle which is very important to me. Thank you Arbor House for all that you do.

The staff are very professional and helpful. All services are in house which makes things very convenient. This also gives assurance that my family member will be well taken care of. We looked for two months before making our decision. Also, the resident fee if a flat fee, no points, that many use, to increase the cost of care. Trust me, in our situation, the additional fees for services that are all included here is very significant. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the mother of one of the Home Health nurses is also at this facility. Very reassuring.

Mom has been at the community for a little over a month and although we are still trying to work out a kink things are going well. Mom started in one shared room and since having to move her into another room since the first one didn't work out they are charging us more and we are trying to get that changed now. Other than that things are great! In terms of care and the facility itself we are very happy. The staff are good and she has yet to participate in any activities but I'm sure that with time she'll ease into things. Yes, I'd recommend.
