They really jump to it if we have a concern. They have a lot of things going on, the activities lady is really great. They have envelopes with a little bit of cash for the guy who comes and does her hair and things like that, I would like to see if receipts for that stuff are kept. The food is pretty good, they have an awesome variety of food, I like the way it's set up so you can come for breakfast when you get up, and lunch is a bigger meal where dinner is a little lighter like soup and sandwich. I really liked the layout and the size. It is in a neighborhood with a park that is really nice, and the sales girl was really great, they came and spoke to my mother in law, when we took her to lunch at the community after we decided on it, and the sales director remembered how much she liked chocolate, and put together a basket of candy. What a personal touch.

Unfortunately, my mother was only at Arbor House one day before she passed away. I cannot say enough good things about the people at Arbor House. They were so kind and caring and I wish my Mom would have lived longer to enjoy the comfort of this place. I can't thank A Place for Mom enough for recommending Arbor House as one of the memory care places to check out.

I liked the programs for memory loss and the ability of a patient to move from one part of the facility to another. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very nice and gorgeous place. Extremely close to home for easy access for family visits. A bit on the expensive side for Mom, but it is obvious as to why. Certainly could be an option if there would be availability if and when we needed respite care.

My visit to this facility was wonderful. I will send the info to my father for him to review. Ultimatly he will make the final decision based on the finances. Again i thank you for this wonderful tour, i will contact you again in the near future.

They were wonderful, absolutely wonderful. The people there and hospice were they went far and beyond the call of duty. With Harmony, they would call us and let us know about anything and everything. They made her special food. Cindy, her nurse, was very good to her and very good to us. They were absolutely angels. Very very pleased.

I've had some experience in this industry, but I've never seen a facility quite as nice as this one and I'm very glad to have my loved one here. It's always been spotless, nothing upset or dirty. The staff are all such sweethearts, over the holidays a few different staff members got a gift for my loved one. Also, every time I've visited the food has been very good, it's all made on site. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This place is great. It is a secure facility and completely set up for memory care. The staff is well trained to work with the patients. I like the central bathing area - reduces the risk of falls. This would be at the top of my list if not for price.

I moved Mom into The Lexington Memory Care Unit when the facility where she had been living could no longer provide the services she required. For less money, Mom had a larger, nicer room and excellent care. Management and staff made the move as stress free as possible. Mom became very attached to the staff and would respond to Frank and Freddy even when she did not respond to family. The staff provided more attention and caring than I could have asked for. Even when Mom's condition degraded into unresponsiveness, she was still treated like a person who was to be respected. Either my sister or I would visit every day. We were welcomed by the staff and they were able to give us a daily update on her condition and level of response to the staff. They were very supportive to our family as well as to Mom I don't think we could have found a better place for Mom's last weeks. I wish I had moved her to The Lexington sooner.

They are just a memory care facility - really great. For memory care, the people that work there need to be really patient and kind and all the people were just like that. The rooms were really nice. As an employee, the only complaint was that there is always more work than you can do. It would be better to have more time with the residents. For people who need more individual care, I definitely recommend a private care giver.

My mother is at the top level of care, and she is receiving good care. They have everything from physical, occupational, and speech therapy to activities like exercise, and music. Someone comes in and does crafts and bingo. There is something everyday to do. They offer pedicures with a foot soak in between podiatrist visits. There are not a lot of Alzheimer's patients, and my mom has Alzheimer's. It would be nice to see some sort of music therapy because I believe it would really help. My mom benefits from being in a smaller community. Familiarity with people and surroundings is very important with Alzheimer's.

The care is good. There's actually not like a family meeting room if you want to have like a birthday party or holiday get together there is not really a room for that. It would be nice if they had that. We chose them because we heard good things about them. Some of my in-law's neighbors moved in there and like it. I was impressed with how everything looked. It was very homey and they had decorations for the holidays. The staff was very nice. My in-law's are doing well there.

Very nice.... like many aspects of what they offer. Will take Dad on a tour.

This is the place my mother felt the most comfortable in only 19 residents, small and homey.

It's a good place! They've got everything covered from what I can tell. My mother seems to like it okay. it's pretty obvious they check on her quite often. Every time I talk to them and ask them how she's doing they tell me things like how she's eating. They really try to work with her.

It was okay. That was an assisted living place where people live there. The care was good, it was clean, and the people were very friendly. They had a calendar of activities every month for all the residents. She just needed more individual care.

At this time we are very happy with our decision to move Dad to Pacifica. The staff is very friendly and attentive to his needs. We hope and pray that he will be very happy.

With some of the activities, there needs to be more artsy craftsy stuff, they are open to suggestions but I think my mom and the other people I've seen there would appreciate that. We chose them a. for the price and word of mouth and quality of care that other people were getting there and how they treated me and my family when we walked through. How I saw them treating other people blew me away. I would say for people with my mom's condition (Alzhiemers'/dementia), they provide the best care that I've seen sor far. Other places provide really big rooms and they think that's going to be like home when actually they need a smaller room to feel more secure. Since she's moved in she has not had one single out burst. They encourage the residents to get and and do gardening when the weather's good enough and if they wish to; its a more secure area and they said they can bring in hospice if they needed to and it wouldn't cost any more than what I already pay

They are a very good community that we really liked. Our loved one was not here very long but that was at no fault to Sterling House. There is nothing wrong with them and they are run very well. They staff is friendly and the community is clean. They are really just saints for doing what they do.

My mom doesn't participate in too many of the activities so I really can't comment on that. If you have a question or a comment they're very easy to work with. They take your suggestions and correct things as soon as possible if there is a problem. From what I understand the food is good. They have a good choice for breakfast. If you don't like what they're serving then they have another menu you can order from and they'll make something just for you.
