Almost $[amount removed]k per month in Memory "Care", unwashed clothes, clothes mixed with other clients, activity calendar reads good but that's all, limited personal care, staff turnover high, management turnover as well. Mom died there. Not a single member of the staff offered their condolences, not even management despite my mother being at the facility since it opened. Instead we continue to receive the emailed updates on Benton House despite repeated requests to stop. Heartless, incompetent, non-caring. Think twice before sending a loved one to this facility.

This facility is clean and nice.Just the workers are mean to the residence. They talk to them any kinda way. They just there for the money. They need to get away with the old workers and start fresh. it should be a way you dress and how your hair should look. Front Desk person need to look more professional and learn how to talk to people that enter the building.

The Pearl was not a good fit for my mother's memory care needs.

They do not want to take the time to care for the residents. The more needs a resident has the more they ignore them. If a complaint is made via phone, no one will ever call you back. Emails are unanswered as well. The ceilings in the rooms are falling down, all the showers are step in, the food is delivered cold to the room. dirty diapers are left laying in the bathroom. There is never anyone in the assisted living to answer the door which is left unlocked all the time. A person can walk in and out without meeting anyone on staff anywhere almost any time of day. They are extremely understaffed and the staff that is there just doesn't care. If you complain it is always the residents fault. Don't even bother to visit, there are too many improvements to be made to be worth your time.

Staff is just doesn't care. Told me my mother in law could be helped and needed nursing care at [fee removed] a month. Moved her to a different place. She is already standing on her own. Food is just bad. Rouches everywhere. Cleaning staff does the least possible work.

If a patient can’t walk they should not be sent to this facility They are definitely understaffed n my husband became extremely depressed at The Manor. A lot of personal things n care he didn’t get and was not safe there One week he fell everyday out of his bed and wheelchair and I say no More about care We brought him Home totally depressed and today he is doing wonderful away from there He did a complete turnabout once he left there. I didn’t expect instant care but times a. Hour laid wet till he tried to get out of bed himself n would fall. A lot I can’t get into but if your loved one can’t walk go thur your insurance and get help at home I no am now very distasteful to their care. Please don’t put your loved ones that can’t walk into the hands that just don’t take personal care

Extremely poor customer service and bedside manners from the night shift staff in the second building at the Sandy Springs location. It’s as if they were hoping patients transitioned; no one expressed compassion or professionalism. Less than desirable verbiage was used in front of families and the comfort care sitters. Management may need to consider an employee evaluation practice or a method that’ll ensure hired and paid employees are at minimum, fulfilling each duty of the position applied for.

I did not receive a notice that he could not return after a hospital visit. There were several items missing from his possessions when I picked them up. I would not recommend this community to others.

•Residents are treated as though they do not matter. •Residents are quarantined to their rooms for their”safety and well being during Covid outbreaks, while NOONE checks on them or considers their mental health status •Staff is obviously bringing in Covid to residents, as residents aren’t permitted to leave or to have visitors, yet are still testing positive for Covid •Inaccurate testing for Covid, as our mother tested “negative” for Covid at this facility, but when admitted to hospital for dehydration, confusion and illness, she tested positive for Covid. •Staff informed us when we picked up our mothers belongings that they had been placing noted of “concern” regarding our mothers condition in their reports, but NOONE cared enough to check on our Mom, and NOONE contacted us. • Beware of this “luxury” location.

I had a camera in my dad’s room & I had to regularly discuss with them the lack of care. It would get better for a week & then they’d ignore him again. My dad needed a lift & they were the only place within a 50mi radius, that would take him. Otherwise I would’ve removed him. Less than 3 mo into covid lock out he lost 30+ lbs because he wasn’t eating yet they didn’t tell us. We repeatedly asked how he was eating & they told us he was fine. I could tell on camera he’d lost weight but couldn’t tell how bad until we finally got in. They finally let us in 25 hrs before my father died. My father was there for TWO YEARS & when he was dying & gasping for breath the director couldn’t even be bothered to come check on my elderly mother that was bedside to her husband of 55 years. They only give even 1/2 a crap when your $$$ is rolling in, as soon as they realize the gravy train is ending they treat you like garbage. If you have any other options then avoid this place!!

Sandy Springs Place is very clean, however at the moment the management could be improved and they are completely understaffed. this community does have potential to be a great place, it just needs quite a bit of improvements.

This is the worst run facility I have experienced in four states. Maintenance does not follow up with concerns. Facility makes patients shut down people coming into the facility during the pandemic. Theft with employees rampant. No camera. Diet is full of fat and sugar. Meals are poor quality fruits and veggies. Poor filters, changed every four months. Kitchen has no fire extinguisher. No camera!

This place is the worst place to put a loved one in The staff is very unprofessional My mom had her wedding band and wedding ring stolen off her finger while she was in mental care there and [name removed] the executive director has done nothing about it The staff also refused my mom's friends and church members visitation with her She was not fed or cared for properly Do not use this facility all they care about is your money Go somewhere else or you will be very sorry

We have placed my mother in this facility. So far, so good. Everyone is very pleasant and caring. Thanks

The Trace has very much declined lately as for as both quality of service, management service, and reputation. Over SIX of their care givers have quit for another senior facility, including THREE caregivers, of which our family member was so very fond of, and always looked very forward to seeing them daily. Additionally, when we visited The Trace, it was evident that the top management staff were more concerned with other issues than interacting with their employees. It was also our opinion that the top management was clueless as to how to professionally motivate, interact, or keep their best care givers from quitting.

No, no and no! My family member had a terrible experience there, and management on all levels could not care less. They are unresponsive, unprofessional and incompetent. Please save your money. That’s all they want!

I recently moved a family member into Remington House and after a very short time, (8 days), she became extremely ill and had to move out. During the 8 days, she never once left her apartment....not even to have a meal in the dining room. The $2,000 Community Fee, (which goes into the land of nowhere for nothing), was paid, and our request of a refund was denied. The onsite team, regional team and corporate team is unresponsive and has an "oh well" attitude. I am very disappointed at the lack of concern shown by people who supposedly are in business to ensure care and well-being of seniors. It is evident that this company is only focused on financial gain, regardless of resident satisfaction and safety. I do not recommend this community or company to anyone. Do your due diligence before making a decision.

Just wanted everyone to know what happened to my Dad!! They let him get so badly dehydrated, he has been in Hospital for over 8 days now. My Dad has Alzheimer's, so that has really set him back. We will not be going back, well put it this way he can't go back because he has to learn how to sit up, walk and talk again!! The dehydration has set him back so much. I so really sad, and mad about things!!! I just don't understand why they let this happen!!!!

The first night my MIL was in the memory care unit, she was left unattended, got out of bed, fell and hit her head. She hadn't been checked on in hours. Wound up in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. Back there now, Day 3. No breakfast, didn't get fed until 1PM. They forgot to give her her meds. One person working for 20 memory care patients. My wife had to help change her diaper, go get her meds. Woefully understaffed! The place sure looks nice, but do memory care patients need a stacked stone fireplace, movie theater and othe amenities? The are there as a marketing tool to sell the folks who are placing the parents. You can probably be ignored for less elsewhere.

New Management and ownership at the beginning of this year. Expanded memory care without having adequate staff. Administration is lip service. Place smells like a Nursing Home. Staff sit behind counter and ignore patients. Staff uses cellphone out in open. Rooms are dirty. Huge staff turnover. No one cares on the memory side.
