Don’t know where to begin. Nurses stations unmaned constantly at all shifts, call bell answers are seriously delayed, and questions go unanswered. Even though you will not get an answer they are happy to shake you down for every min of your free time. I have more respect for mobsters and how they handle money, budgets, and business. They want their payment yet can’t send me an invoice. I have yet to see anyone from a management team have any healthcare skills. All of them have business degrees and can’t answer a health question if they tried. I have tried to get a progress report on my loved one. They looked at me like they had NO idea what I was talking about. Too bad- this place is beautiful and has so much potential.

This place does not listen to its residents. The on site managers may be here a year and be fired. The current on site manager spends too much time in his office and does not listen. The site is spending thousands to repair a yard sprinkler system that won’t be used after the first water bills come in. They should just fix the sprinklers where they have just laid sod. The money saved should be used to build a security fence, clean gutters twice per year, replace the wood around the windows, repair/replace fascia and soffits, buy a new station wagon, fix the lift on the bus.

New and beautiful but very expensive. The apartment are very small. Staff friendly. We haven't seen much people leaving there. Offer therapy but no gym. Very nice activities. Nice dinning room, offer kitchen for family events.

This community was an older one and we felt that it was a nice set up as the assisted living was monitored very well and then they offered some very nice Cottages for those looking for Independent living. You do have the option to come to the dining room for your meals if you were in the cottages. I did not feel that my father-in-law would be a good fit in the Cottages and he felt he did not fit in the assisted living as they did not seem to be as active as he is. The rooms were nice and the staff did a nice job showing us around.

My dad is still adjusting to his move here, and the staff is working really hard to help him. He likes exploring his new surroundings , there is a great courtyard with a coe pond and they have remodeled the front so he likes going out there as well and he really enjoys the Sunday church service. Dad likes going down early for his meals because he likes visiting with the residents as they come in the dining area. We have had some issues in the beginning and they are being addressed. The staff has been great they do respond quickly when he uses his call button and they explain why it might have taken them a bit longer as they were helping others so that he understands.

My bother toured this community for our mother, and her needs. For the most part everything went well, but we did not feel this was the right fit for my mother, and her needs. We did find another community that suited our needs better overall.

My tour of this community was a decent one. The community looked okay. The staff I met was kind, but I didn't notice many aids. I didn't feel this was the right fit for me, and my needs.

For the most part I have no complaints about my mothers experience so far at this community. She has had no issues with the food and has enjoyed getting involved in some of the different events and activities they have going on through the week. I like most of the staff that work there but I have a problem with some of them. A small percentage of the staff should not be working there they can not even say hi when we walk in.

The staff here has been great to me and my loved one. They are doing a good job with trying to help her transition. They do offer plenty of activities for the residents to participate in. The community is clean except for the stains that they have in the hallway. The food can use some improvement.

I took a tour of this community and felt that it was a little older than I would like for my loved one. The staff was helpful and really nice. The community was clean though and kept up. I would recommend this place to family's.

I would like to see, especially when a resident is new to a place, staff keeping an eye out and seeing that they are getting around okay and aren't getting lost. She has had a rough time learning her way around. We have had some issues with housekeeping and the thoroughness of the laundry. There have been some issues and confusion with billing, and timing of days, and charges. There have been minor falls, and no record of the incident. It's in a convenient location for our family, and we also think it's important not to make too many changes for our loved one, so we will continue to work with them, however there are some things that definitely need work.

This was probably one of my least favorite communities that I visited. The layout was a bit awkward and the staff didn't seem as engaged as the other communities. They were also offering some pretty large incentives which makes me wonder why they need to do this.

In general I think they do a good job at Morningside of Riverchase. The facility itself is clean, and the staff are friendly. Considering they are a fairly newly opened facility, they have some issues to work through. More activities should be planned for the residents, such as organized shopping day trips.

My parents lived there. The air conditioner was broken in the entry hall and the hall on which they lived from April till September, 2014. It was over 90 degrees and horrible working conditions for the employees and receptionist. We could not go sit in the front community area because of the heat when we visited. I asked numerous times about the AC and they kept saying they were getting it fixed - finally in September. That was 5 months of unbearable heat. I would not recommend this facility. The food is bad too. I regret not reporting them to the health department.

I came and toured here when I was looking around. I was not overly impressed. I didn't get the feeling when I walked in that this would be mom's home. I didn't think she would like it. When I walked in I got the feeling that I was interrupting them. I realize that they are busy, but I knew it wasn't the place for my mom. They weren't rude, they were nice, but I didn't get that we're glad you came feeling.

Visited. Where were residents? Hotel-lobby-ish .

I really have no major complaints about them, and up until recently, I would have given them a 4. Due to recent events, I'm beginning to think this may not be the best situation for my loved one, who is still very mentally capable. However, I have confidence in them. The staff are very cooperative and nice, and I hope this works out. It's a great place, and it just might not be the right place for my loved one.

Jasmine offered us a great tour. She's quite savvy and answered all of our questions. Overall we thought their Dementia care cost was a bit expensive. The feel of the Dementia care division reminded me of an average mental ward tucked in the basement of a well appointed hospital.
