Place was very clean and staff pretty good. A bit more about the clients needs should be shared with the care givers so they have a better understanding of what's going on. My dad unfortunately passed away 6 wks after he became a resident - UNEXPECTED. But he showed signs and we were allowed to be at his bedside daily in PPE equipment Some technology issues that caused dad anxiety when door opener and pager did not seem to function properly. Difficult to tell staff to resident ratio, so don't know if they may have been understaffed. Attentive to all specific requests and sr personnel responsive to communication. They were a blessing being close to my home and able to take dad during this covid viruin time.,

We chose Sandy Springs because it was clean and the price was affordable. The rooms are good sized. The staff members take very good care of my husband and all the other residents. They are all very friendly every time you call or you need something. I would recommend this community.

We chose Retreat at Conyers because of the room size, the rooms were very large. The food here is pretty good, they do provide a menu with a variety of choices. My mothers favorite part of the community has been that she gets along with the other residents here and has made some friends. I would recommend the community.

I have had issues with the communication and him being out of medication or having his medication misplaced. I am frustrated as there are no nurses there now so I am not having luck talking with anyone about the medication issues. There also seems to be a lot of turnover. I think he is getting good care and the facility is beautiful, he is making friends and enjoying the activities, but we are having more issues than we thought we would.

They have several activities, like bingo, a library and a pool table. They also have exercise classes and a chapel, however they are currently undergoing construction so there are no activities at this moment. According to the residents the food is not that great, they switched up their chef and the food really went down hill. The rooms are spacious and clean, they are really nice. We really like the layout as well, which is one of the reasons we chose this community.

Legacy Heights is pretty average in price compared to the other communities we looked at. The activities are very good, prior to COVID they would bring kids over from the high school down the street to play music for the residents, they also have a shuttle bus that would bring them to a store, or a restaurant for lunch. The layout is pretty good, it is smaller and slightly older.

We chose this community because of a recommendation from a family member. My mothers favorite part of this facility is the friendliness of the staff, one of the chefs is great with my mother and offers her different foods if she does not like what is served. She says the vegetables are mushy but the food is good, especially the desert. My mother has been participating in Bingo recently. I have had troubles with my mothers medicine being distributed to her, but this was before the retreat took over. I would maybe recommend this facility

They keep all the resident rooms very tidy and the trash is taken out regularly and the laundry is done regularly as well. They have six levels of care with two person assistance available. The staff is all very personable with the residents and families and they offer a lot of activities to keep the residents engaged. We definitely think The Phoenix is a good value for the price.

My mother-in-law likes it here. The staff does a good job with taking care of her and they did a good job with keeping track of her care and what she needed. They were very on top of her care. The food is very good and the kitchen staff is great. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept. We have never had any issues with them. They are very good with communication and keeping us up to date with her and her care. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have done a great job with keeping the residents safe and as far as we know, no one at the community has gotten it.

The community overall is great. The staff is extremely attentive and caring. They are very proactive with my dad and his care. The culture and moral of the community that exists within the staff is great. My father infrequently smokes, and the manager personally called and suggested ways to help ease him off of it since it is a no smoking community. This really speaks to how caring and dedicated he is as a manager. The whole experience with Sandy Springs has been great. We had another family member move into this community as well and her experience has also been pretty positive overall. Can't say enough nice things about Sandy Springs!

I think it is the nicest facility we looked at. I wish they did a little more for my mom,but I do appreciate all that they do. I wish the ratio of caregiver to resident was smaller. I understand that they have other residents to care for as well. I think it is the best place for my mom in the area.Layout is good, outdoor space is adequate. All the food I have had there has been very good.

We chose this place because of the cleanliness, activities, and friendliness of the staff. Other places were nowhere near as nice as this one for the price. Of course, this is unprecedented times in the world, and we are going to get through this but the community has been on lockdown since [date removed]. There have been 8 cases of COVID-19 at this community, and my mother tested positive a little over a week ago. That said, the communication has been terrible. The administrator doesn't return calls. I have to make multiple calls and texts for days before I get a response. My parents have been married 65 years, and my dad is worried about my mom. It is so frustrating to not know what is going on there with her.

Sandy Springs Place is in a convenient location. Staff does their best to assist resident with their needs. Rooms are a decent size, they have units for one and two people. Food always smells good whenever I visit.

A very nice place, there was a roomful of tenants doing pet therapy while I was there. The lady at the front desk was very nice. The tour was quick but I got a good impression. I really liked how the place is set up. I believe they are part of the 5 star group and I have also visited another one of their sites in Pineville and was equally impressed. I was surprised it was not on the list I received from A Place for mom. [name removed](Legacy Heights) mentioned that they are in the process of remodeling some of their building also. They are on my short list.

I really loved the room, ambience, and cleanliness. The grounds are beautiful. The menu choices seemed limited and only receive 1 meal and would have to purchase additional meals. Staff was friendly. Felt rushed on tour, and unresponsiveness to calls.

Was too expensive for us but [name removed] was very nice and took time to answer our questions and give us some good feedback.

A caring facility. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I appreciate that the administration is always available and willing to listen and try to solve any issues. The food is very good and a good variety.

Sandy Springs Place-PC is a beautiful place, bright and clean. The rooms are sizable and comfortable. The accomadations and amenities are plentiful. The staff I saw were pleasant and courteous and assured residents readily. All the residents were dressed, neat and clean. I was very pleased with my visit.

Love it there. Everyone is great!!

My mom has been a resident of this community for ~8 years. The management is responsive to the residents needs and the caregivers are by and large a very caring group of people. The building and grounds are well kept and beautifully maintained. This is a nice place to live and I feel good having my mom here!
