Phoenix Senior Living

The staff were very friendly. The facility was nothing fancy but acceptable. My loved one didn't get a shower for over a week, so I don't know what went wrong there - although I know if you ask her does she want/need a shower, she always says no. The staff we met seemed really nice and conscientious, so perhaps it was because she was there for a respite stay. They also didn't do her laundry until the end of the two week stay. So maybe she just wasn't on the rotation for those things yet. The move-in and move-out process went smoothly. Because it was a new situation for her, it was a difficult transition, but that's not their fault. I think it would have been a pretty good situation if they had been more aware of her bathing needs. Overall we would send Mom there again and be more clear upfront about the bathing.

This was a good community, it was more expensive than we wanted.

I originally chose The Phoenix at Milton because it was recommended to me by my doctor. Most of the staff here have longevity and have been here about a year and in this environment I think that is important and also hard to find now a days. It is a very friendly place and I would recommend them to others looking.

Seasons at Southpoint my not be the most beautiful community but we really appreciate just how attentive the staff members are. The place is always clean - it smells so fresh you can tell they clean it constantly and efficiently. Whenever we leave we feel very comfortable with leaving our loved one there. The activities we would say are appropriate for the population. We have not had a regular meal there but we did have a meal at a big event they put on and it was delicious.

We had a positive, good experience at The Pearl at Dallas. What I appreciated the most was the staff's training on Alzheimer's. The community is all on one floor and they have good communication. They offered a lot of activities including games, outings, etc.

I liked this community but when I toured it was not somewhere I would want to be or somewhere I would want my loved one to be. I liked the location and some things about it but going into assisted care it makes you feel like you should be somewhere that has a good memory care program also. The community was very friendly it was just when we went into memory care the people were in wheel chairs and not being engaged.

One of the main reasons we chose The Phoenix is they intergrade their memory care residents with the assisted living residents when it comes to activities, so our loved one has been able to make friends outside of the memory care. It is a great way to blend the residents with each other, it is a very friendly environment. You can tell how much the workers really care about all their residents, they are extremely attentive to their needs - the staff aren't just all grouped together hanging around. They do not pressure the residents to partake in activities but our loved one needed to be on a routine and they are able to provide that to her. Every time we come to visit she seems very satisfied with the meals. She plays bingo which she enjoys. Every Monday afternoon they take the residents on a sight seeing outing and then may stop at McDonalds for ice cream or another place to get cookies. The recently had an Easter egg hunt, and they bring communion to our loved one. They also have a full demonstration kitchen and a pub for happy hours.

We like the location of this community, it is just a few miles away so we are able to visit often and get their quickly if needed. They have been meeting all of our loved ones needs so far. Everything is very nice, modern, and newish. Based on our experience we would recommend them to other families. They could work to improve on their overall communication and orientation once your loved one gets moved in. They do a wonderful job selling you the place but after move-in it could be much better,

Lakeview Estates is a happy place. You will feel confident knowing your loved one is well cared for. My loved one seems content in being here. The community could add some additional menu items for dietary restrictions. My loved one likes to stay active with all the activities available in the community. It feels like a cruise ship because of all they have to offer. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. There has been some turnover of staff, and have gone through a recent transition with the new staff coming onboard. Housekeeping, laundry, three meals, snacks, once a week outing, activities, electricity, water, and gas is all covered under the monthly fee. The care fee can be additional. Medication management, bathing, dressing and hygiene care are all items the community assists my loved one with. The community is only two stories, with a lake nearby. It is a very scenic area. There is a courtyard in the middle of the community for the residents to use.

It's a nice place. It's new. I think some of the staff need a little more experience with certain aspects. My loved one enjoys the food. They allow pets and offer transportation for a cost.

We had a great tour experience with The Pearl at Jamestown. They were really in tune to memory care residents. The rooms were on the smaller side. For anyone who has a loved one with Alzheimer's/dementia, this looked like a perfect place. The location was very convenient to us as well so we would have been happy if this was the one she had chosen as well.

I chose The Phoenix because it just looked like the best place for the value and it is close to my son. Up until this week there were no activities, but it looks like we are back in full swing and there are more things than I could ever attend. The apartment I have is 810 square feet, it is spacious for one person. My apartment gets sun all day long and I loved that aspect because the sun makes me feel happier. I would recommend them to other looking.

The community is very nice. The team that works on the floor the girls are great. I do have situations from time to time where my loved one tells me one thing and then the staff says another so I am learning. If my loved one does not make it out for breakfast and does not go down they bring the meals to her and my loved one loves the way that they make the fish. The front desk was extremely patient and was there for everything that I needed.

This is a great place for our loved one. We find the staff friendly and the community clean. Prior to the lockdown due to the pandemic, the food was pretty good. They even had activities prior to the lockdown as well.

Good community, not the right fit for my loved one due to community regulations.

I chose The Trace because of the larger room sizes and there are fewer people who live here. The staff is very friendly, but the problem is they are short staffed which is no fault of their own. The residents are all very friendly and welcoming. I really like my room size, I had plenty of room for all of my things and I have a nice size closet. They come in and clean once and week and the grounds are well kept. The facility is pet friendly and they seem to enjoy my dog. The food and dining service is starting to improve. I would recommend them to others who are looking.

My loved one is no longer at this community. Overall I feel that this community was okay. I had a few bad experiences when my loved one was here and that affected my opinion on some of the ratings. I would not really recommend this community for your loved one.

This was a nice community. It was a little older and dated but it was still a place that I would have considered for my loved one.

The Phoenix at Milton was equally as nice as the other Phoenix location that we chose and had the same things to offer. The only difference was this facility was a little further away.

Our family had a virtual tour and everyone we spoke with was very responsive, we had no complaints.
