The care our loved one has received has been good, but we do think the business aspect of the facility could use some improvements. Our loved one is really enjoying the meals and dining service is great, and they are really liking the activities.

Our family had an in person tour and The Retreat is not as pet friendly as other communities we were looking into. Our loved one had a service dog so by law communities have to accept them, however it just seemed like at the time of our tour they were not set up to accommodate our loved ones service dog. It also was the lowest quality as far as amenities, and very little cabinet space in the apartments.

We've had a very positive experience. One of the only issues we've had was during the application process, some things weren't explained very well. We did some of the medical stuff ahead of time so it wouldn't be happening all at once. Then we had to do it all over again because it wasn't explained that it would have to be done within a certain amount of time. So the admissions and medical process was kind of complicated and cumbersome. But since we've been there and have been visiting, they've been very patient, gracious, and helpful in answering our questions. One of the best parts of the community is the staff. They go above and beyond on a very routine basis. They really work with us to allow our loved ones with different needs to stay in the same apartment. One of our loved ones has Alzheimer's and is really afraid to leave her room, but they have tried on numerous occasions to help her feel safe, and they encourage her to come out. I really appreciate the personal effort they make to help our loved ones get acclimated to their new environment. There have just been so many positive things we regularly see and experience here. I've tried the food several times and really enjoyed it. It's very good. They have a really good list of activities, and there are things to do like puzzles, TV, games, etc. if you don't want the more organized activities. Overall the value is good. My only complaint there is the cost to administer medications is high. But I would recommend them to anybody. I feel very safe having my loved ones here knowing that their wellbeing is protected.

We had a good tour with Arbor Terrace. They were trying to be as accommodating as possible, but they did not have a way to get my loved one to dialysis, so that is the reason we had to choose another facility.

We chose The Trace because of the size of the facility, it is not too big and not too small .We also really liked the staff members. The room sizes here are huge, they are double the size of anything else that we looked into. They have had a couple covid lock downs and they did a good job trying to manage that. I would recommend to others looking.

We chose Morningside of Dalton because of the location as well as the the value for the money. I also had recommendations from people I knew who had their loved ones here. She has a smaller room, but it is sufficient for what she needs. The staff all seem to be very friendly and helpful. I do like that it is a smaller facility, only about 40 residents so it wont get overcrowded. She seems to be happy with the food. I would recommend to others looking

I would tell others to go and look. We looked at it and spoke to the staff. The living arrangements that were offered stand out to me. The food is very good. There are movies, games, and more for the residents to choose from for activities. There is even a daily schedule of activates for the residents to review.

It's pretty clean, but I know it's hard with so many people there. Overall it's good but could be a little better. Everybody is very friendly and smiles, when you walk by, And they're very friendly to my loved one, which is the important thing. There have been a few weak points here and there with the care and housekeeping, which I addressed with them, and they were open to making changes. My loved one says the food is pretty good, and what I've seen looks good. We can now visit in her room, but they discourage congregating in the common areas. I wish the activities were a little more creative They play bingo an awful lot. I know the shutdowns have affected things, and they haven't gone on as many trips and outings as they normally would. My biggest complaint would be security of the rooms. I bought a really nice comforter set for her room, and lately all I've seen is an old brown one. So I think they could do a little better with laundry mix-ups and that kind of thing. But I do really like that it's just dementia care here, instead of trying to mix assisted living in with it. I'm reasonably happy with them. It's not too far away, and they've been great about having her ready and on time for doctor appointments. It's taken a little while, but she's gotten where she seems to like it there and is comfortable there.

staff is very nice but understaffed. food has gotten much better since the new company took over. As i don't need any of their medical services and such, I can't truly make any kind of judgement about that. But I do know many that do and they all appear to be happy with their care. There are a few negatives but not bad enough to really write about. This is my first assisted living facility so I also can't make any comparisons regarding other such entities.

The staff has been fairly pleasant. They generally try to meet your needs. The rooms are really nice, and it's a pleasant community. The food is pretty good. I have certain dietary needs I have some problems meeting. But other than that, it's good. I feel like the value is pretty good as well.

The community is neat and clean and the staff is very friendly. The best thing is the value for the money, this community is well priced compared to others in the area. I would recommend this community to others.

They're a little short-staffed, but I think all of these places are nowadays. They're also a little challenged with their billing. It's not been right since we got there. They keep losing the person doing it. Just make sure you have everything in writing as far as concessions and things go. Do your research when it comes to finding a place. We liked that Legacy Heights is a smaller place, that there's not hundreds of residents, so it has a more homey feel. The staff are friendly and seem to get to know their residents better than other places. All in all, they do everything they can to make everybody happy. I've not tried the food, but it looks pretty good, better sometimes than others. I liked that instead of one centralized dining room, there's a dining room on each floor, which contributes to the homey feel. They offer a lot of activities, but a lot of the activities are visual, so it's been difficult for my loved one with vision problems to participate.

Very nice clean facility. Recently updated/some areas on 2nd floor still underway. [name removed] was very professional, compassionate and listened to our needs/concerns regarding our mother. One bedroom suite was a very good size, clean and easily accessible to elevator. Also able to accommodate smoking needs. All employees were pleasant and friendly.

The community is clean and from our understanding the activities are still pretty limited. We did have a small issues with the communication, there was just an overall lack of it with the staff team and them giving updates regarding our loved one

It is a safe, quiet, convenient to get to from the North side of town. The administrative staff communication with the family has been good. They send emails out to me, are willing to speak in person or on the phone with me. The ownership just changed in the last 4-6 weeks.

This was a nice community, we did a virtual tour and like it but we needed someplace closer to home.

We are very happy with Sandy Springs Place. My dad does seem happy here. I think it is very nice facility, it is more like an apartment feel and not so much institutional feeling which is very nice. I would recommend to others who are looking.

The friendliness of the staff members is great, they reach out to us whenever they need to. The food they serve is unfortunately not very good, and we do think the activities are okay, but with covid it is hard to tell exactly what is going on. There are no fowls smells, and we picked this place because it has a very homey feeling to it, and it does look institutional
