Nice place but limited on in-house services for longer term care

I think they do a great job at Arbor Terrace! The staff here is friendly and professional, and you can tell they really care about the residents that they work with. They treat the residents like family, and I really feel like my loved one is with people who are genuinely concerned for him. We pop in all the time unannounced and I always see the staff talking with the residents or doing little activities with them. They also do a pretty good job with the food! We're very satisfied with the care provided!

Our experience with Legacy Heights has been a good one, overall. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. They're very diligent and consistent when it comes to checking in on the residents and getting them out of their rooms for meals and activities. I also like that they have their own physical therapy staff and in-house doctors. However, we have had a few issues with the medication service.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

Meals are good. General cleanliness of place is good. Do like activities like bingo, Price Is Right, and scenic trips. Like to see more of it.

I think Orchard does a really good job, really good job. Its so hard to please everyone, but Orchard does a really good job.

I haven't had any complaints so far. The people are nice, and the food is okay. It's a good place. I'm sleeping well at night. They are living up to my expectations. I am happy with them so far.

Aside from a few minor concerns, we are happy and my Mother in Law seems content. They have been great at the relationship between the residents and the workers. They are kind and patient. Cleanliness is not a plus. My Mother In Laws room has not been cleaned. They told us that we had to supply bathroom tissue and then I found out that one of the other residents does not have to supply toilet paper. This may not be a big issue for some, but we pay a lot of money for this facility. Another concern is that we were told we would be able to use the staff physician when we first got here. My Mother in Law has been here for two months and they are just telling us that he is no longer taking new patients.

This is a brand new property, and I toured it before the residents moved in. They were very welcoming, and if our aging in place plan does not work out, we will definitely consider this facility.

Overall our experience with Atria Johnson Ferry has been a very good one! My only minor complaint is that I think some of the communication and administrative things could be handled better, but otherwise the people are very friendly and the facility itself is well kept and clean. It's a very nice place, overall!

The food they have is very good. Mom has said it has all been excellent. They could improve regarding the frequency of the assistance that she gets. They are supposed to stop in to check on her once every couple hours and that does not always happen. Other than that everything with Sunrise At Ivey Ridge has been ver good. It has been a very positive overall experience.

Much improved since new ownership and new executive director. Very responsive to my mother's needs so far. She lived in Independent Living (the Cottages) & now is in the Assisted Living in the Manor house. I like that the residents are treated with the respect they deserve as adults, nobody wants to be treated like a child. The main suggestion I would make is that they need to have a system in place for when a resident moves in and out of units. They need to have checklists to ensure everything is prepared for a resident in a unit before they move in. Nearly everything is included in the rent.

We are pleased with our experience with Southern Plantation, they do a great job looking after my loved one. The facility is nice looking, clean, and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking into senior care in the area.

It's a nice looking place, and the staff were friendly and professional. One thing I would have liked to see here was a little better integration of the memory care and assisted living portions. My loved one has a few memory issues but not enough to need memory care, and there were no memory care type activities that would have been available to her in assisted living.
