We really like the accessibility and availability for our loved one to use their car transportation system - she is able to go to different appointments and even to church services. That for us was a big big benefit. We do think they do a good job with the activities and based on our experience so far we would recommend The Lafayette community to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and it was our second choice, it was a nice experience but when we got into the finances we learned it was a base fee and then additional fees would be added on depending on how much care and assistance your loved one needed and we were looking more for a set payment so we didn't have to worry about it constantly fluctuating

The front office staff, [name removed] and [name removed], are awesome. They've helped us out and done everything in the universe for us, and we super apricate that. My loved one complains about the food sometimes. But the care has been really good. There's just one person who can be a little gruff with her, but most of the staff are very good. One huge plus that factored into our decision is they also offer memory care, so when the time comes for that later on, I don't have to move my loved one off campus.

What sticks out most about The Bungalows at Springdale is the cleanliness of the facility and the fact that the staff are helpful whenever we have needed anything.

The help that has been there a long time are the greatest, newer employees are not as attentive to the residents and need more aides. Need more cleaning in the rooms.

We've had issues here. Most of the care issues happen on the weekend when there's no office staff there. It's not as clean, individual care is less, staff is chatting more than working etc. But a lot of the other issues are constant, even during the week. I have to shave my loved one's face and trim his nails when I visit because it's never done, but it's supposed to be. My biggest issue is his laundry gets mixed up and lost. We find it in other resident's rooms, even though his name is on his items. The mattress cover we bought to use on the brand new mattress that we bought him was taken to be washed and never brought back. He soiled his bed and it smells now. Housekeeping is not good, his room isn't clean, bathroom isn't clean, sheets aren't on his bed a lot of the time when I go to visit. He has several sets of sheets there, so there's no reason for it. Just not good care for the cost. It's a smaller facility and memory care only, so we thought that would help. But we've had these issues at all 3 of the facilities that he's been in, mixed and memory care only. So it seems like these are issues with every facility. I don't give facility recommendations due to the issues that we've seen at every place. I'd rather let people decide for themselves.

The Pearl at Five Forks is all memory care, when we came to visit we saw all of the residents and staff out and about. We did have an issue with the room in the beginning, but the caregivers tried their best and provided great care. Some were better at getting residents to participate in things. They were all very friendly and helpful. I ate there once and the food was not very good, there was not much flavor to it and he was not the biggest fan of it either. It is a very nice facility and overall we had a positive experience with them.

We like The Phoenix a lot. We like the property. It's clean and a very nice place to live, with good neighbors. The staff seems a little disorganized. It's a little pricey but has been a good experience overall.

My loved one loves the food. They fit in very well. Everyone is nice. I feel comfortable and safe, with my loved one there. It's a clean community. Overall, it has been a very positive experience.

Overall except last couple of weeks 4+ My Mothers backside at the coccyx began to have skin breakdown and I think she became dehydrated. Individually each caregiver listened to my concerns but I don't think my suggestions were taken . The faculty as a whole was good. They hurriedly sent my Mother to St Joseph one evening where the skin breakdown escalated and she began to fail rapidly; my opinion The manager in charge gets a 5. I don't want to hurt his position or his job. I feel he did his best to try.

Things have been shakey before, but new management is make thing to improve rapidly.

Other than the food, The Neighborhood at Hopkinsville is a nice place to live. I would like to see them serve food that is easier to eat for older people with poor teeth, dentures or no teeth. But the staff is very helpful and sweet with the residents. And it's easy for the residents who have some form of dementia to get around.

The people and the CNA's were all very wonderful. Was not overly impressed with the director. She did not live up to the role she would provide. Everyone was wonderful other than what was noted prior. Only other downside or not so great was the meals and dining, do believe it could improve. Overall the experience was very good for the service provided.

Had different expectations, that they would be watching him more often then had liked. Ended up having to have Fire Department come each of days he was there (for a very short period) but they would have to pick him up from falling each day.

At the time our family had an in person tour it was a great experience but they did not have any rooms available. However they had a room available a couple months ago that our loved one was able to move into, and so far the experience is going good.

It seems to me that The Retreat at Loganville has a lot of folks that really do care about the residents in their community. That stands out really quick once you've been there a while. I've ate there once and it wasn't the best quality of food. Quality seems to be more of the issue than anything in regards to meals & dining. My loved one has a two bedroom apartment that is in the independent group living area, and its very nice. There were some things we asked to get replaced or fixed, and they are working diligently to get our requests taken care of.

The staff were very friendly. The facility was nothing fancy but acceptable. My loved one didn't get a shower for over a week, so I don't know what went wrong there - although I know if you ask her does she want/need a shower, she always says no. The staff we met seemed really nice and conscientious, so perhaps it was because she was there for a respite stay. They also didn't do her laundry until the end of the two week stay. So maybe she just wasn't on the rotation for those things yet. The move-in and move-out process went smoothly. Because it was a new situation for her, it was a difficult transition, but that's not their fault. I think it would have been a pretty good situation if they had been more aware of her bathing needs. Overall we would send Mom there again and be more clear upfront about the bathing.
