They do a wonderful job here! It is a nice looking place, and I've been very impressed by how friendly and compassionate the aide staff are here. I'm very pleased with it!

The Trace has been a great experience for my mother. The professional chef knows her special dietary needs and the food is delicious. I have eaten in the dining room when I visit. The rooms are larger and more attractive than the previous assisted living facility where my mother lived. The staff are friendly and made her feel at home on the first day, she moved in. I also like that all assisted-living residents wear a pendant that they can press if they need any type of help. My mom used it the first evening she was there. Help arrived within 15 minutes. Not bad!

They have gone out of their way to meet all the needs of my father in law.

I am very happy with them so far. The food would be about a three. They have lots of activities. I liked that it was smaller and all one floor. It was also one of the more reasonably priced places. I would give them an overall five at this point.

I found them to be very friendly and very accommodating. The facility is very clean. The value is excellent. They do a good job at taking care of my loved one. I haven't had any issues. The communication between the staff is good. They have offer quite a few activities. I would recommend the Southern Plantation to anyone. Overall, this is a friendly community. Everything has been going very good.

All in all, these folks are wonderful! They honestly are! My mother was so afraid of moving into this place and of what a big change it was and she had to give up a lot, but they really came to her just like angels! They treat her wonderfully! And if she's got any questions or complaints, they jump on it. For example, she told me-about someone who'd blow their nose into the cloth napkins, they'd launder them but my mom wasn't gonna have it, and she told them that, so they started providing Kleenex to all the tables so no one would have to blow into napkins anymore! My mom's birthday happened recently and they all made an effort to say happy birthday to her and make sure she was happy. If she has any kind of depressed mood they sit with her and talk, if she has any concerns beyond what they can handle/discuss they call me. Morningside is incredible, they really are phenomenal and top-notch for the price and for everything they do and they make it easy! Another time, when my mom was moving in, the activity director went the extra mile, and hung curtains for her! I'm very, very pleased with Morningside and the way they take care of their residents, and their professional attitude about everything is really awesome! There is no damage to the building and it's very clean, the meals are great, and the staff all knows me by name. I couldn't be happier; they are taking fabulous care of my mom and I'm confident any complaints I would have would be taken care of.

So far everything with The Trace Senior Community has been very good. My dad has dementia and he can have a little violent behavior, and they are dealing with it well for the most part. It has been a challenging situation and there are some questions I have as we work through things, but we are all working together to achieve the best outcome. Otherwise, I think it is really a wonderful place. My parents both really like it. We just need to get my dads medications right and everything to get him under control and everything will be perfect.

So far it's been really good. They meet my mother's needs. The staff is very caring. They take good care of her. Everything has been going great at the Morningside of Decatur. It's an excellent community.

Great personnel, great facility, I have good peace of mind knowing my mother has selected this community.

This is a beautiful facility. It is obvious the emphasis is creating a loving and practical living environment for persons needing assistance. Arkadiy, the owner, is definitely focused on providing peace of mind for families. I would feel very comfortable having my parents living here.

Everything about our experience with Morningside of Decatur has really been wonderful. My mother is typically not one to get involved, but here she really has gotten involved in the community and with the activities and is really enjoying herself. They have really outstanding people that are really friendly and help out in any and every way possible. Mother has been there for about two months and thus far everything has been great and I would highly recommend them.

I had never been to Morningside before last year, and I have no connection to it other than my mother's 9-month stay there. I did a lot of research when looking for a safe, dependable place for my mother as she was approaching her 100th birthday. I asked several of my Dalton friends for recommendations, then I looked at four different facilities in the Dalton area and visited all four several months in advance so the transition would be smooth. I was worried that my mother would rebel when I took her for a temporary stay following a fall. Within three days in Morningside's "respite room" she was already telling me she loved it there! The following month we moved her into a permanent room and she quickly made friends and felt right at home. The staff was wonderful and seemed to genuinely care about all their residents. They were very patient with my mother and I witnessed the same with other residents who were much less self-sufficient than Mom was. It was clean, the food service was very good and the front lobby/visiting area was very nice. It is a relatively small facility, so the residents get great personal attention. Lots of activities and scenic bus rides available. It's located at the foot of Dug Gap Mountain with immaculately manicured landscaping. Ken is a great director and Toni, the activities director can't be beat. Easy to understand base rates with no surprise fees. I highly recommend Morningside!

My sister is the one staying at Myrtle Beach Manor. I have not had a chance to make it there myself. My nephew got everything set up for her. Based on what I hear from him everything is going well. I talk to my sister regularly and things seem to be going well, as far as the care she is getting and everything else. I feel my sister is safe, and she is being well fed.

My father is there and without a doubt he loves it! Its expensive no budget motel,but well worth the money. The staff is more than friendly,very helpful in any way they can be. Food is great! With a large selection to choose from,and I believe daily specials too. The Trace Senior Community is over all a high end environment,centrally located,easy to find,and close to my home. The residents was upbeat and happy to have fun activities to participate in during their stay.

I moved my Mother to Morningside over 2 years ago. I am one of 3 children, but the only care giver. Yes Morningside is a bit pricey, but I do not know what I would do without them. I want my Mother in a premium care facility where she receives the utmost in care. This facility has never...not once...let me down. With my work schedule I may pop in at 2 pm or 2 am...never announced. Not once have I discovered anything questionable or out of line regarding her care and well being. Expensive, but worth every penny. You get what you pay for.

The only concern is that they don't take trips, so more outtings could be improved. The staff is nice facility is clean.They have been very attentive. She is really happy there. She likes the food, We are happy with Morningside no complaints.

The Morningside is an excellent community. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the staff on hand are very wonderful. They appeared to be very attentive to the residents, as none of the residents appeared to be unattended, and all seemed very happy. The rooms that we saw all looked very nice and the staff that we talked to were all very educated on the community.

I feel that they have gone out of their way to take care of my father and make him feel welcome. The meals are excellent and have short order cook at breakfast, they can order as they come.

This is one of the places we toured. It was very nice. What stood out most about this visit, is that while I was sitting in lobby, waiting for my tour, the lady at desk was very busy, and a resident needed a cola. The lady stopped what she was doing to take care of her. That was really nice of her. I thought everyone was very professional and helpful. I really couldn't say anything negative about them, it was just a little further out from where I was looking.
