They have limited their activities due to COVID, but right now they let families or friends make reservations over the phone to come visit and sit outside on the patio. This community has an excellent staff, our loved one is very happy there. It's designed as a memory care facility, it has an excellent floor plan which is one reason we picked this community. It is very accessible for everyone. We would rate the food at this community about a four out of five. The rooms are purposefully small since it is a memory care facility, but they are adequate in size, however you do have to provide your own furniture. Each room has there own AC/heating unit. Not only is Sandy Spring a memory care community, they also have assisted living.

I would tell them it is a very great place. Please check it out. My parents love it there. They still have bingo as an activity during the pandemic. The food is the worst, and my mom is stating the food looks horrible. My parents will sometimes go back to their room and have a sandwich because the food doesn't look good. I feel they should hire a new dietitian. I ran into another caregiver who had just put her parents in this community and her parents didn't like the food and stated they have the worst food. The community is nice, other than the food. As much as we are paying we shouldn't have to go to the store to buy food due to the poor taste and look of the food in the community.

Aside from being brand new, beautiful, and offering many different activities for people depending on our interests, the entire staff is simply fantastic! Every time you encounter a member of the staff they are pleasant, courteous, and always ask whether they can help you with anything and they will do so regardless of whether it's in their "normal" responsibilities. The food is great and the chefs are also always receptive to suggestions from the residents. Every resident we've met has been glad that they have chosen The Phoenix at Union Hill.

My aunt has been at The Phoenix at Dunwoody for 2 years in the memory care unit. She is high functioning and they have made necessary adjustments to incorporate her in the outings with the assisted living residents when these outings were possible prior to Covid 19. While other senior communities have experienced positve Covid cases, this location has maintained high standards and the residents have stayed safe with no cases. No senior community is 100% perfect 100% of the time. But having experienced many years of at-home caregivers prior to her time at The Phoenix at Dunwoody, I can honestly say this is THOUSANDS of times better.

The nurses are awesome, and wonderful. I took my dad on a trip and the nurses had his medication packed into different days, and his clothes were packed as well. They are always treat my dad wonderfully and speaking to him. The food is great, and the room sizes are wonderfully as well.

The location was great, the staff was very friendly, truly like family. Overall first impression of this community was a no brainier. Food taste great! Would definitely recommended this to friends and family.

I was a caregiver for my husband until [date removed]. When I interviewed at Legacy Heights, I knew it was the place my him. Everyone was knowledgeable, informative, very kind and led me through the process which was extremely difficult for me emotionally. I am extremely pleased with the entire staff at Legacy Heights. From the caregivers, nurses, administrators, dining staff, front desk, activity directors, maintainence staff and ALL employees (don’t want to exclude anyone) are amazing. The care, respect, attention and kindness are only a few adjectives to describe the level of care my husband is receiving. When Covid hit the level of care, attention and work ethic reached a new level. Legacy Heights had already become my extended family but with COVID I found they cared about the patients and families emotional and physical well being. They did their best to meet the needs of everyone as they tried to stay healthy them,selves. Such dedication should be commended. I am indebted to all those at Legacy Heights trying tokeep my husband healthy, engaged and safe. I’m so thankful and feel blessed he is in their care.

They do a good job keeping the community clean. The staff does a good job communicating with the families. They have done great with my loved one's care. We do think that Sunrise At Ivey Ridge is a good value for price. We really appreciate A Place for Mom for finding this place for my dad!

The cleanliness is good. They could be more responsive with our requests. I would appreciate it if the staff was easier to get a hold of. The food is not very good, but they seem to be trying to improve. The activities were good, however, during the Covid-19 pandemic, they have stopped most of them entirely. A very standard value for the price.

We recently moved my mother-in-law into The Retreat in Conyers,Ga. I would like to thank the entire staff for being so helpful & patient with us. Everyone is so friendly there & made her feel right at home. I would like to give special thanks to [name removed] who went above & beyond to make this an easy transition. Also I would like to thank [name removed] for all their help. I was impressed with all their professionalism & kindness. There were others but unfortunately I don’t have their names. The Retreat Is beautiful & well maintained. I would highly recommend it.

The decor is always being refreshed and the way the place is kept up is very good. The staff is wonderful, they treat my father very well. The care is very individualized, it's not like one size fits all, each resident is taken care of at their own need. Definitely a good value.

I would not have my mother any where else for assisted living memory care. The staff is caring, compassionate, and responds to her needs and keeps her happy giving me the opportunity to continue to work and travel in my job. My sister and I both travel extensively in our jobs and we are able to work with confidence that she is cared for. We recently had to have her in the hospital and in rehab but as soon as we could, we readmitted her back to Lakeview. There were tears shed when she left and tears shed when she returned yesterday. I work in long term healthcare myself and I know the difference and I can certainly recommend Lakeview Estates to anyone that needs some loving care.

[Name removed] has overworked this facility with her tireless energy and great smile. (and her enthusiasm and intelligence) Phoenix is nothing short of loving and giving by the core givens and residents. Goodwill is catching. The staff is knowledgeable and kind.

We toured this community and will be moving in. They have active really active residents with lots of activities. New building and staff we saw was nice. Room rise was large and we picked the 1 bedroom. Love that this is so close to our home and we can meet mom for lunch anytime and bring the grandkids. They even have a playground for them!

[Name removed] was welcoming and knowledgeable of my mother’s needs. TPAD is like a home and the staff is warm and friendly. The home is clean and activities are well planned out including leaving the community trips. The only downside are the rooms are built for single suite and not sharing. Therefore, when sharing it is way too small.

All our needs are very convenient.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my accomodations, care staff dining and activities. A great place to live! The staff is very friendly and professional. The only issue is the corporate office owes above $3000 from a double payment that I made when I moved in in [date removed]. This issue not resolved after numerous requests.
