Peregrine Senior Living

peregrine is not the place for my mother. They do not take care of her like they should. I would rate this place a zero for senior living. [Name removed] the marketing person did not explain to me when I met her that I would have this much problems. I am trying very hard to get her out of there

Overall a disappointment. My father has been there for 7 months. They do not have the experience to maintain these people. They can not and do not get him in the shower or get him to brush his teeth or anything from personal maintenance. We get in there and have to change his clothes ourselves, These people can't even get him to change his shirt. You would think every couple of days they would change the clothes of everyone as well as check to make sure they have not soiled themselves. A few times we have got there to find him an absolute mess. They have the potential for a great place but they are 100% hands off in many important areas.

My brother has been there for several years and the care he receives is below standard. His living there is not Medicaid funded. He pays for his living/care out of his own hard earned money. We felt when the time came for my brother to be placed in a nursing home facility he would be in a place that we felt fit his needs. The care givers do not watch over the patients. I have seen this too many times when I have visited him. My 2 brothers who are his executors have also witnessed this and have complained many times. Apparently on deaf ears.

We had a loved one here. Not a good facility. Staff isn’t consistent and most aren’t familiar with how to care for elderly with memory care issues. They are having their current employees post positive “reviews.”

No no no!!!! Awful place, awful managent. Unsafe, unclean. Staff have little to no memory care training or experience. Residents are a monthly check and that’s all. It’s a revolving door of staff at all levels. Families are leaving left and right. Huge red flag when I started to see that. 2 months was too long for our loved one to be there. Have filed a report with the Dept of Health. Left a negative review on their FB page and they have removed it. Guess they don’t want people to know the truth!

Nothing good about our experience here! Unsafe, unclean and the staff is deceitful. My mom was here only a few weeks and it was terrible from the beginning. Do not leave a loved one here.

The staff members were excellent. I was lead to believe that they had a lot to offer my husband who is suffering from dementia. I was told that they had all kinds of activity's for him. There was absolutely nothing to offer him. I was told that the facility was locked down. True it was but my husband got out 4 times from emergence exits and I was with him each time, So this is a facility for women ages 80 and up and like to play bingo.

This place is all about making money, once they get your loved one in the don't follow through on their promises. Ever increasing charges because what are you going to do move your loved one. They know that's not practical for most elderly people especially those on a fixed income. They screw up medication..yup MEDICATIONS! They have a revolving staff because they can't keep any quality workers there. The new management is to blame for that, it used to be a decent place. Also the food is terrible, my loved one can't even eat it about 25% of the time. For ~$3700.00 a month you'd think they could serve a decent meal. Any requests my loved one has gets only lip service, they have meetings for the residents to discuss problems but nothing is ever done, month after month. The management is cold and uncaring, all business and no compassion for the people they serve. I don't think they have an elderly parent.

We went through everything that they asked us to, with their policies and procedures. Their management team was awful, and never returned a call. From day one the toilets flooded every other day, and even though employees told me that it happened all the time, they tried to blame my parents. I feel sorry for the people that work there. They were severely understaffed. They staff hates the head of maintenance, they don't even have maintenance on the weekend. I had to be there to handle most of the care, it was so bad. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone, unless maybe you are bringing a dog. The resident turnover here is unbelievable, people come and stay a month and then leave.

The administration at this facility is extremely rude and unprofessional. They act as if you are dirt under their feet. They only have two LPN's and the rest are med tech's. The med tech's are very unfriendly and do not give anyone the time of day. My mother is hard of hearing and is also blind, when the med tech's give her the pills(although they are ALWAYS late) they just shove them at her and leave. I would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone.

It is a for profit enterprise and if you look carefully-it is very obvious. I would not send my worse enemy or my family dog to this facility!
